I just want to say how impressed I was with the employee at this Dollar General, his name was Leonard. He deserves a huge raise from the Dollar General Family ! Most all Dollar Generals customer service sucks but not at this one he was multi~tasking helping each and every customer with a smile and so efficiently. The long lines you usually see at any given dollar general , you didn't see here . Leonard by far was the friendliest with giving every quality in customer service ! What I saw was a hard worker giving to his customers his all, with the very best positive attitude . Given how dollar general's lines and employees are overworked due to short staffing, this young man regardless gave his all in the name of great customer service !!!!! Give Leonard a RAISE !!!!!! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ BECAUSE OF THIS ONE EMPLOYEE ! I was quite impressed with Leonard !!!!!!!!

I know times are hard, and DG expects their employees to be able to unload trucks, wait on people to keep the store clean with limited staff, BUT to keep one an employee who is disrespectful to staff and customers is beyond me. Tyrone is such a kind man and respectful to everyone, but the witch who always finds a way for her name tag to be twisted so yo can't call her out needs to be let go and should have a long time ago. She is rude and disrespectful to Tyrone. She covers her mouth and talks low when speaking to my hearing impaired husband she does not deserve to be working in the public. Put her in the back on truck day onlyunloading trucks and loading carts, and that's it. I don't know her name, older woman, smells like an ashtray, see her out smoking a LOT, skinny ponytail. I go to Vimey Riidge to avoid her. They are much nicer there.

Cramped aisles but the staff at the Alexander location are awesome and friendly. You don't feel like a customer shopping there nor do employees act negatively at you like they do at most Walmart locations.Great location, easy to get in and out. Also a safe location as the police department is right across the street.As usual, Dollar General is easy to shop and get what you need without wasting over an hour somehow like at big box stores.

My mom and I used to love the Alexander store. It was quite, well stocked and had a great team of employees. Unfortunately about 6 months ago it abruptly changed. Now it is the closest to us, but there are two others that are convenient for us as well. Both of them stay pretty well stocked (even considering this whole virus mess they maintained pretty well)and if they are low or out its not for long. Both stores also have several outstanding employees that have been there for years and if they get one that's a butt, they aren't there long. Soduring another long babble session, Alexander store YOU need to get it together I know today was my last visit there

Your associates should really find a different place to take their smoking breaks besides the front of the store where everyone is walking. There are little kids exposed to that smoke as well as the elderly with health problems. It just makes the store look really trashy. I'm going to contact corporate to see if they can provide the workers a better place to smoke.

Really bad experience with this people at the checkout! I pay for some stuff and I forgot a pair of slippers and came back and they told me I didn’t pay and they were so rude! I’m not gonna be back to this store.

Prices are always different than marked an then if you say something there rude.dark haired short lady is very rude told me my child needed a spanking.Lady named Lee is always rude rushing around like what she's doing is more important than customers. Store is a hot mess always.This is the one in Alexander by the tracks across from police station.On my way home or i would not shop there.

Hard to get in and out because they never have enough people working and prices are jacked way high and something's are mislabeled. The workers are all very kind but the store itself isn't my favorite.

Not too happy with this place. Tried to exchange an outfit for other merchandise and was told I couldn't. That I could go to the Highway 5 location and maybe they could do it...sounds like Dollar General needs to train their staff so they know policies.

Meh, not one of the better DG's. I don't like employees frequently smoking up the entry. This location must have a hard time finding or keeping good employees.

Came to store at 8:30 and no one was even there. Called from 8:30 to 9 and no one answered. Sign says 8-10 y'all need to get up and learn how to open a store. No one ever says hello or good morning just a really crappy store

I love dollar general but they need to go back to paper coupons. Half the time their system is down and you can't use the coupons.

It's Dollar General. They usual have whatever dumb thing I forgot or needed on short notice so long as it's a relatively common thing. Scan & Go is your friend. Scan your goodies and pay on the app. Never have to talk to anyone.
