Found this gem while taking a stroll through downtown Yuma, and I left extremely pleased with a book that caught my attention! Sunny has various genres scattered in a creative manner that is eye-catching. Can’t help but to skim through the entire bookstore! I was immediately greeted with a smile, talk about great customer service! Sweet lady at the counter gave me a bookmark with my book, and gave me an overall awesome experience. For all the bookworms out there, don’t forget to check this place out, you won’t regret it!

There is no place like Sunny's in Yuma- they have an amazing selection and the owners are always so kind. They always have wonderful recommendations. Over the holidays the owner ordered a book for me that she did not have in store, and she curated two sets of books for my nieces (and wrapped them!) My family cannot recommend Sunny's enough.

I’ve realized through meeting the owners and visiting the bookstore just how much books have impacted my life. This is the best little bookstore you could ever hope to find. A mix of used and new. I loved the wrapper Valentine “blind date” books with a short description on each tag. Perfect to get me out of my normal lane for reading.

I came across this place after seeing their little book truck go around different areas, I was fascinated. I went in a little after they opened and I loved it, it’s such a cute, cozy place. I don’t get to go as often because I work 8-5 but I’m going to try to go again during lunch and weekends. Also, the owner may have some good recommendations if you don’t know where to start! Definitely recommend!! 🤩

As much as I enjoy using my e-reader, there’s something so wonderful about having a real book in your hands. I love heading to local bookstores and discovering new titles. Perhaps more than that, it brings me pure joy to chat with local bookstore owners and their friendly staff about the books they loved reading. The staff here at Sunny’s is second to none. They have a real passion for books and their community. I can’t recommend Sunny’s enough! Go check it out for yourself! Let’s hope they bring those green Sunny’s mascot pullovers back ASAP

Shop owners are the sweetest, most fun, most welcoming lot. For a new local book store, the selection is so great for all adults, young adults, and kiddos alike.
