Used to be a lot of knowledgeable ppl working here. Especially the fishing dept. Not so much anymore. The store is well stocked at decent prices, but the lack of product knowledge is disheartening. The trip here and back is a couple gallons of gas. With no one available to answer questions or offer advice it’s a no-brainer to buy more from Amazon.You either missed the point of my review entirely or deliberately ignored it. THERE IS NO ONE IN THE FISHING DEPARTMENT WHO HAS KNOWLEDGE OR EXPERIENCE. Your store is well stocked. The few employees that are here are nice and helpful as they can be. But why waste gas and time driving here when I can have what I need/want delivered to my house?

I'm a gun virgin. Never bought one, and this younger gentleman came over to me with a nice casual aire and showed me everything I was interested in, and made the whole experience very pleasant. I have one more store to look at, but I'm not sure I'll be very biased about it. I'm sure I'll go back.Thanks men

Cool store, seem to have everything you would need.. only allowed to buy 2 boxes of bullets at a time. Rather strict about it.. prices are decent.. no waiting period like California.. 270 shells are in stock but call first.. other ammo runs out fast..

Super rude people that work here!ordered a safe online and sent to store showed up at store a week later then promised. Today I went to customer desk to start my pick up and was asked rudely by the woman there “if I brought help to load the safe”. I just ordered on online not once online did it tell me they were just gonna push the safe which is 684 lbs out the back door and let me load it myself. She then called someone from the backroom she came to the front even more rude then the First Lady , instantly telling me that they have a delivery service that will do it(for an extra fee she didn’t know).both woman where asking where the manager was but I guess left for the day around 4 ., I had a rental truck that already purchased For the day and took a half day off work. No forklift on site ?She then walked to the gun counter and asked if they will help and both said no insanity without knowing weight or any other info. Then she keep saying I’ll just refund you the money , am like great but I order something from your company that I needed and wanted that’s why I ordered if it the first place. Pulled around back with the truck and a man in receiving pulled a pallet jack out of the building rolled to the truck and asked we could give him a hand and it was in the truck in 15 seconds. We didn’t need the last 25 mins of all the workers saying no every other word .Get home and unpacked safe 5 deep scratches on the right side going to reach out to the customer support tomorrow hopefully make the day and the damage right.

Lost this customer... went in to purchase a firearm and then was accused of drinking alcohol and would not sell me the firearm. This was at 1pm in the afternoon and there was absolutely no alcohol consumption from me whatsoever so unsure what the guy was smelling. So I went to Sprague's Sports from there and had much better customer service and made a new customer happy with his new firearm, ammunition, holster, and cleaning kits. I suggest Sportsman's really look into their customer service if they want to keep customers....

Great place for ammo, like seriously anything you could want (legally) always go there to get a bunch, hecka nice staff too I had a question about a Glock 43x (if their sights they sell would fit) and the guy actually got the gun took the plate off and went threw them one by one (sadly none fit) but I was really surprised and grateful he did that super nice guy ❤️ definitely recommend this store to all my gun buddy’s for ammo, planning on purchasing a rifle from them soon as well (not the best prices in the world, but positive they’ll help with any questions or concerns I have)

The guys working the gun counter are rude beyond words. Ran back to grab a gun case at exactly 6pm while the person I was with paid for nearly $1000 in ammo. Rather than provide any semblance of customer service and maybe add another $100 to $200 to our purchase in the 3 min it would take the cashier to ring us up, these guys just sat at the counter looking dopey and yelling at me repeatedly that they were closed. I understand that their mommy worries when they don't make it home on time but last I checked they are there to sell products for the company which employs them, not chase paying customers out of the store. Just the last of a long list of disappointment after disappointment with this store. I'll take my business elsewhere.

Usually I would ignore ignorance from employees but while in the store we were browsing every fishing aisle (first time to this store we wanted to see what they had) over the intercom you hear them say fishing department and a dang employee followed us around the entire time; like really? We weren’t doing anything wrong - we grabbed what we wanted from each aisle and checked out but we didn’t need a babysitter in the store. Definitely won’t be coming back here again

S/W has stepped up its game and its easy to see. Inventory is stocked correctly, plumb and square, where it should be. Associates are always available to assist and will ask if help is needed in just about every dept I "shopped" in. Stores are clean. No body jumping out of the racks wanting to sell me vacation package...Best part of coming West to ..."recreate" is stopping at Sportsman’s Warehouse and update gear and tackle..Excellent associates!

Would give negative stars if possible. DoD and active duty military don’t even think about purchasing from the Yuma store. My wife purchased a shotgun online, under my account, and had it delivered to the store. I have an in-state Az license with current address and my wife and I are legally married. Because the gun was purchased under my wife’s debit card, they refused to complete the transaction due to her out-of-state license (she had her DoD ID as well). I guess if you’re serving and want to buy a gun here you’re SOL, regardless if you have all applicable proof that you reside within the state. Complete waist of time going here folks.

Lost firearm, lies, hang ups, customer service was horrible thru the 1-800 number, over 5 different calls trying to find our purchase in over a week, except for one person this evening. The front manager really helped, listened, understood, and refunded our online purchase. She deserves a RAISE.

Wow!! I received some great customer service when I went looking for a specific Christmas 🎄 gift! There was a SALE sign posted and even though the sale was old, they still gave me the sale price! 🙌 Very good customer service! Every time I have gone looking for some outdoor item, they usually have it! 🌲 PROS: great customer service, good selection of items. CONS: not all employees wearing masks 😷 😳, customers walking around without masks🤧

Love this place! Only place I go for my outdoor equipment. I'm fishing pretty frequently so I'm there upgrading my tackle. They got a good selection of product from fishing, hunting, even grilling. Got a couple hot sauces there and I wasn't disappointed. Even their rewards program, if you sign up for an Explorerewards Card, is something to consider if you're going to be a frequent buyer there. My advice, just walk in and check it out.

Dec 27John, the Store Manager, called me to offer his sincere apology for the way in which our request was handled. He invited us to the store to get a full refund. His staff were exceptionally kind and considerate. We received a full refund.Congratulations on how your handled this exception to the company policyDec 26We purchased a Furman generator 9 days ago. It stopped working 3 days ago on Christmas Eve. Oil had leaked out due to a faulty gasket or a cracked head. We returned to the Yuma store and were told by the young man in Customer Service that there are no returns on opened merchandise. How were we to determine that the generator didn't work if we hadn't opened the box. A very stupid policy. Furthermore, the customer service person suggested that we get it repaired and sell the unit to someone else and come back to purchase a Honda generator. That was very unethical of him to recommend that we sell a flawed unit to someone else. How deep do the lack of ethics run in that store and the organization as a whole? He seemed to lack any interest in our plight, stating that we had a very expensive door stop. Wow!!!! What a hugely disappointing experience. We will never buy anything from Sportsman Warehouse in Yuma AZ or anywhere else
