Fantastic service and I'm surprised on the variety of paint. They have a little bit of everything from Yeti products to equipment rentals (jack hammers, tillers , cotton candy machines, popcorn machines ect) the store is very clean and staff is knowledgeable and was able to help with our odd ball questions regarding our latest project. They do have free freshly popped popcorn (thank you). I will definitely be coming back.

If I could leave 0 stars, I would.It’s interesting that this is the only store that only hires Caucasians. All employees are white! And if your not, good luck getting decent help.

Place has gone downhill. I grew up in this town and had been visiting this store for the past 16 years or so.Today I received zero help, zero greeting, was not asked if I was finding things alright, and was actually being "watched" like I was going to steal a bottle of gorilla glue I needed for a gate project. Had to wander around until I found the adhesives over in paint. Employees didn't say a single word to me while I was there. As I left, I wished the useless cashier a good day, and he ignored me. I've had better experiences from self checkouts.If this is the new normal, I *will* spend more gas and time to take my business to the big box stores. This place can honestly go out of business, it's just not what it used to be. Family members and friends agree. Sad.

Searched over 10 stores in Yuma including Lowes and Home Depot and none had the screws I was looking for which were 1/4-28. This location had them in stock and a bigger selection of screws than Home Depot or Lowes carry! The staff was extremely nice and friendly!

I ve only been here a couple of times each time treated very well .Each time i have recieved exceptionalAdvice to fix the job.The products supplied have had great results.There are well stocked and they said ifI dont see it they can probably get.Give it try im sure you will be glad youDid. As I leave after 41 years at Southwest Lumber I think I can speak with a bit of authority on the quality of knowledgeable people who, as I, have been there for many years . They care about their customers and their place of employment. It is a friendly and happy store. That said : ADIOS, GOODBYE.

Expensive but Cheesy products. Its like the dollar store of hardware stores. There lumber is often warped and they refuse to make certain normal cuts to lumber because "It costs too much to sharpen the saw blade"

You have no idea how thankful I am. Southwest Lumber saved me so much money on having to buy a whole new key fob(over $60). They were able to make me a fresh copy from the key shell I ordered online. So I was able to resuse my battery and transponder(chip) from my old key and place it in the new shell because they were able to cut it for me. Home depot couldn't do it because it was too high tech and couldnt do my key because I had a transponder. Southwest Lumber had a more hands on key cutter so it was possible to help. Thank you guys. You are very kind,honest and helpful. I see why you guys have been open for so long.

In Yuma, Southwest Lumber is my go-to store for lumber, hardware and especially rentals. They rent everything from plumbing snakes to popcorn machines. They are extremely great at mixing paint. Free popcorn. Covid-19 Compliant.

If I could leave 0 stars i would. Rented a sprayer, returned it a few minutes late and they charge me the same amount as renting it for 4 hours. Never again. Rude associate even had an attitude about it.
