Southwest Exchange?! Ha! I thought it was just called RV Superstore. But seriously, they have way more than just RV supplies. It’s kind of a cross between Ace and Harbor Freight with a bunch of stuff you won’t find at either of those. Heck! They got duct tape and tie wire; what else do you need???

I popped in without any intent to buy anything - just to see what they have.I found a very good cross section of conventional and innovative items I'm going to need and want for RV and camping.Wound-up buying about 11 items and I'll return when I prepare for RVs and outdoors.

After recently moving to the area we needed to kennel our dogs. This is a nerve racking process for pet parents especially when not knowing anyone or the area. The team at the Pooch Parlor (attached to the Southwest Exchange) did an exceptional job at putting our fears to rest. They took me on a full tour of the facility and also promised to send updates/pics of the dogs while we were gone. I cannot thank MacKenzie and the other ladies enough for treating Milla and Chalupa with such care. I do wish they had their own google page separate from the SW exchange. We almost didn't choose them because I didn't quite trust that a dog kennel attached to a hardware/rv store would provide decent pet care. Better signage and directions on where to drop off/pick up the dogs is helpful too. After you've done it once you're good to go but first impressions and ease of process sometimes make the diff on repeat customers IMO. Outside of that the prices are the highest in the area but the facility is also the nicest. The dog kennels are spacious and the outdoor areas have alot of play equipment and room to stretch. We will be back.

We weren’t acknowledged the whole time we were in the store excluding check out. Prices are reasonable and there’s tons of odds and ends in addition to hardware & tools. It’s like Dollar Tree and Ace Hardware combined! The parking lot is small and won’t accommodate trailers or RVs. There is also dog grooming and boarding services.

By no means is this a friendly or helpful place. I've never found a part that I've really needed there anyway but thought I'd try. Walked in about 15 minutes before closing looking for a specific plumbing fixture. The owner or manager actually was angry I came in so late and yelled at me to hurry up... when I asked for help on finding the part they refused and stayed behind the counter .... I searched my best and left still 5 minutes before they closed and the angry man just mumbled something nasty under his breath as I left.Do not waste your time here, if you can't find it at Ace in the Foothills you may as well go into town rather than have to deal with their attitude..... why bother having a business if you don't want to do it..... horrible experience....

The Southwest Exchange has a bit of everything, with a wide selection of RV parts and accessories. They have propane at a great price, it's out behind the building. The staff is super friendly and helpful. This is always my first go to place when I need anything.

We walked into a very well stocked, neat shelved selection of hardwares. For several years, we passed this place and wondered why the parking area was too small to accommodate, a large motorhome or 2. The impression of them catering to rv'ers is a big disappointment. The selection of RV items only has as much space in a corner as the sign takes up outside. If you need a drill or tube of glue, this could be a stop for you.

Very nice staff. An older building but lots of curators.Staff are full of amazing intelligence. A little of everything you could use for your RV. I would recommend you check this place out.

Not only did they have what I needed, they took me to it, so I didn't wander around looking for it. I went in a second time for another item and got the same amazing service. Thanks!

I was relieved to get the exact part I needed to repair the water heater on my RV. The staff helped me by pointing out where in the store the 3 items on my shopping list were and answering a few questions about my water heater, but I wouldn't say the service I got made me feel warm and fuzzy. Perhaps they had lots to do that day and I asked too many questions. One of the items on my list was a lube plate for our trailer hitch. I wanted to buy 4, but they only had 1 left. I got the last one. The cashier's we're friendly and checked me out quickly. Unfortunately, American Express isn't accepted here. Luckily, I had another card on me.
