Discovering the Old Town Wine Cellar in Yuma, Arizona, was akin to uncovering a hidden treasure in the heart of the city historic district. From the moment I stepped inside, I was greeted by an ambiance that effortlessly blended sophistication with a welcoming, laid-back vibe, making it an ideal spot for both wine aficionados and newcomers alike. The walls of the Old Town Wine Cellar are adorned with captivating art pieces, each telling a story as rich and diverse as the wine selection on offer. The cool decorations and intimate lighting set the perfect scene for a relaxing evening out. It's not just the aesthetics that make this wine bar a must-visit; it's the electric energy that fills the space, brought to life by the friendly staff and the eclectic mix of patrons it attracts. What truly sets the Old Town Wine Cellar apart is its impressive wine selection. The knowledgeable staff are always on hand, eager to share their passion and guide you through their carefully curated collection. Whether you're in the mood for a bold red, a crisp white, or something sparkling, there's something here to satisfy every palate. But it's not just about the wine. The Old Town Wine Cellar has become a hub of great energy and community spirit, making it a prime gathering spot for those who appreciate the finer things in life. It's a place where conversations flow as freely as the wine, where new friendships are forged over shared tastes, and where every visit feels like a special occasion. The Old Town Wine Cellar is more than just a wine bar; it's a vibrant part of Yuma's cultural tapestry. Whether you're a local looking for your next favorite spot or a visitor wanting to experience the best of Yuma's hospitality, this wine cellar promises an experience that's as memorable as it is delightful. A true testament to the charm of Old Town Yuma, this wine bar is a beacon for anyone seeking great wine, great art, and great company.

This place is a great spot to explore new wines and make some new friends. Kim, the new owner, is doing a great job transitioning it to her vision, which is welcoming to all. I really enjoy the new cheese plates and the wine offerings. Look forward to returning each week!

Tbh, I am not a fan of wine, but this place is unique and worth trying in downtown Yuma. Only $10 for tasting 5 kinds of wine.

Mike has got something pretty special going on here. His wine tasting selection had Italian and Spanish labels as well as some California and Oregon red’s as well. Every wine had phenomenal value, under $20 and extremely drinkable, but looking around, there were some heavy hitting labels on the shelves as well. He had quite a group of obvious regulars in the shop, giving it a cozy family vibe. Mike himself was very nice and helpful, knowledgeable and down to earth. Great experience, another little oasis in old town Yuma. Highly recommended.

Do not trust or give any patronage to the owner of the Old Town Wine Cellar, Mike! He physically assaulted my 13 year old son that has special needs on 10/31/2022!(I would give less than zero stars if possible)Today I took all of my kids to trick or treat in our neighborhoods from 6-7pm. My younger son, Aycer, has autism. At the start of our evening, Aycer was excited to get to wear his favorite nascar driver’s jumpsuit and carry his blue pumpkin to collect treats.I was walking with my kids and I waited at the edge of the yard while they were collecting treats. Aycer had a care provider with him tonight to coach him on safety and appropriate social interactions with our neighbors. We were having a fun time walking up to the houses and enjoying our friendly neighborhood community. However, when Aycer went up to Mike and Sharon Perry’s house to say trick or treat and reached into Mike’s candy bowl, Mike immediately grabbed Aycer’s hand aggressively and forcibly pulled his fingers back.Aycer’s provider was telling Mike that Aycer has autism but Mike didn’t release Aycer’s hand until he was crying and his knees were bending down towards the ground from the pain. At the same time Mike was telling Aycer not to try to grab anymore or else next time…Mike didn’t tell Aycer sorry, just closed the door on him.As soon as Aycer could start walking again, I took all my kids straight back to our home. When I went back and confronted Mike afterwards, Mike’s only response was “I’m sorry, he just made me angry!”.Aycer is 13 years old chronologically and much younger cognitively. This is a completely unacceptable way to treat ANY child!I filed a report with the police and pressed charges. I give my kids consequences when they misbehave and Mike needs consequences to learn a serious lesson in how to behave as a grown up!

Mike the owner decided to pass out candy and when an autistic child placed his hands in the bowl rather than let mike put it in his bag! He grabbed the boys hand and twisted it and wouldn’t let go even though the care givers and adults all yelled to him he’s autistic and learning social skills! He held the boys hand so tight the boy buckled to the ground in PAIN!! This little boy was so excited to be in his racecar Halloween outfit but MIKE RUINED HIS HALLOWEEN EXPERIENCE! Do NOT COME HERE!! Do not SUPPORT HIM OR HIS BUSINESS! Sickening! There were charges filled against Mike! If I could give 0 stars I WOULD!

I'd give less stars if possible. Absolutely do not support this man or his business. Who assaults any child, but especially a special needs child, ON HALLOWEEN at that. Probably permanently ruined Halloween for this young man. Disgusting excuse for a human being, and definitely not someone who's environment I'd ever want to be in, let alone give money to.

The wine tasting was good. Mike helped us pick out a great bottle of wine. The atmosphere and people were friendly. My only suggestion would be add a few more places for people to sit. I plan on returning soon.

It was my birthday today and I would have liked to do a wine tasting and then buy a bottle or two. But when I walked in there was only like 6 places to sit and they were all taken and the worker behind the bar didnt say anything. We didnt know what to do and nobody greeted us or helped us, we stood there for like 5 minutes while people were eating and drinking.. I felt like I walked into a private party rather than a business. I was really looking forward to trying this place out on my birthday, but since I was just ignored, I left.

So much wine and I would have loved to learn more and purchase but the person who was their was busy taking to some one at the bar and drinking at the same time. We stood around for a while but we’re never greeted or offered help. Everything was dusty and lonely.

Totally Ignored when we walked in for a tasting...stood at cash register for at least 5 minutes to find out about tastings and their wines from the man behind the bar/cash register and was totally ignored!!! How Rude...I usually buy at least a half a case if I like the wine possibly a whole case...their loss!! They can keep their wines!!...and their rude employees!!!Don't know of this guy was the owner or employee...either way you don't ignore potential customers who can spread the word on the internet about their rude experience!!!I see that other visitors have had this same experience...this place has a problem...or maybe they just cater to the locals...that's OK but please put up a sign that reads "VISTORS STAY OUT WE WILL NOT SERVE YOU...ONLY LOCALS WILL BE SERVED AND ARE WELCOMED"!!!

Pretty neat place. Great variety of wine and spirits. The wine sampler is very affordable. I wish they had a bigger area to sit and relax, maybe even a patio.
