I tried to donate a few things here, for the humane society itself, which I was told was ok. When I went in, immediately was told no bath mats- they weren’t bath mats, they were dog mats. Fine, so I set them aside. They handed me a slip to fill out and I did. I specified “dog food container” and as I was walking away a woman was implying I didn’t donate the items I listed. She proceeded to yell across the store that I needed to come back and correct the form saying I didn’t donate “dog food” I was shocked at how rude she was and said that I must’ve made an error. Turns out, she lacked reading comprehension (dog food CONTAINER)and when I tried to point that out she claimed it “didn’t matter what’s listed anyways” I won’t be donating here anymore and I would discourage anyone from donating here.

When donating the staff seem more on the unfriendly side. I don't believe they know the value of things in general. I was shocked how they make a person feel, when donating. It's like they are doing you a favor, then it's the other way around. I don't think I will donate agai and won't be telling others to either.

I LOVE LOVE this thrift shop, great finds and deals. The employees are so sweet and welcoming and it's united with helping the animales in Yuma shelters!!

The workers working for this store are super rude and will act silly if you don't speak Spanish and will not help you unless their manager who is awesome is there. But little did the lady that was working there know we do know spanish and she was bragging about how she found $100 in quarters and pocketed it before her manager came in she is a thief and should be ashamed of her self. As for me i will shop elsewhere and donate elsewhere as well.

HSOY thrift store is an amazing place to shop, relax, and to find cool stuff.Antiques, clothes, shoes, house decor, you name it they got a little of everything!!The staff and dedicated volunteers are friendly and work hard organizing items.The store is clean, clutter free, well organized, and the prices are cheap.They have weekly 50% sales on different merchandise. Items are tested to make sure it is in working condition before they put it up for sale. Some of the clothes still have the original price tags!!!!It's nice to know that the money spent at this thrift store goes to our local animals.I'm always stopping by at least once or twice a week to check out there inventory.The Manager Isabel, Christina G. andChristina P. are so friendly and take pride in representing HSOY mission.The store is closed on Sundays & Mondays.Who is ready to shop!!!

Great customer service, we loved the birds and kittens at the front cashier desk, super cool and cute. The selection is a bit small, but the prices are all reasonable. My only complaint is that I wish there was more selection.

My wife and I visited the Humane Society thrift store in Yuma today (Saturday morning) and were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the items on display, and the reasonable pricing. We picked up four (4) like-new "Corel" dinner plates for $1 each (MUCH below Retail price) , a like-new, 500 page hardbound book by Kevin Trudeau, "Natural Cures" for only $1.00, and two beautiful Christmas decorations for $1 each. The store is clean, well-organized and tidy, and the service is good. I can recommend it!

We travelled through Yuma again. Was extremely disappointed at the condition of the store. It used to be so clean and organized. Prices were fair. Now the racks of clothing are a mess, the shelves were filled junk looking like goodwill. This was my favorite place to thrift while in Yuma. Have shopped here for years. It was sort of down hill in October but now it is such a mess. First time we did not buy one thing. We tripped over things fallen and laying on the floor. What has happened? There were two Adirondack chairs out front kind of falling apart very wobbly and the price was $60. Crazy. The shoes were priced astronomically even with a 50% off discount. Not certain where the pride went but it is gone. So bummed. Sorry for the bad review, step it up, please.

Went in to see what they had it was 3:45 Pm and I walked in and immediatly wad told we are closing in a few minutes by a lady behind the counter. Then this other Mexican lady with an attitude looked up at their clock and it said 4:00 and they went and locked the door. According to my watch and phone it was 3:47 Pm and their clock was set 15 minutes ahead and they proceeded to keep telling people that they are closed and need to check out now. Poor business and customer relation. Won't ever go back there again. By the way when I was let out and went and got in my car it 3:53 Pm still not 4 yet.

So happy with this place!! I am traveling through Yuma and had some time to kill so I stopped here. Andrew went so far beyond great that I wanted to keep him lol! Great store and great cause!! I will definitely make a point to stop here when I come through Yuma again.
