This is the best store around, they have fresh meat at the best prices you will find, checkout the chicken leg and thigh pieces package for your best deal on chicken, also the beef tamale meat which shreds when slow braised makes awesome meat and gravy which is basic for sooo many different dishes

Love this location. Employees are very helpful and polite. The deals they have on Wednesdays and Thursdays are great too. Best days of the week to buy meats and produce. Only thing is, they close up the meat department and the bakery very early. They close it up three hours before they actual close the store. But overall, very great grocery store

Love this store. I always get my veggies here. And they fry your fish for you. Everyone is so friendly. Good atmosphere with the music of Mexico. This may sound crazy but I 'm relaxed when I shop in this store. And sometimes I will get some of their prepared food , which is very yummy. I like the Food City store on 8th St the best.

I have been to this store about 10 times over a 3 month period. The vegetables are old, and dont look fresh at times. The bakery staff is a bit rude and wont even say a word as they are checking you out. The cashiers at the front look at each other when you have a cart full of groceries then smirk with each other. Customer service definitely needs improvement. 2 stars just because some of their prices are great.

Super amazing place, they had pretty much everything that I was looking for as I was heading a Day of the Dead party for my family that I was visiting. The kids and adults had a blast with what I found here. Especially the pan de muerto and the pinata candy. The place was very clean, organized, and the staff was very friendly. I also highly suggest stopping by the fresh baked section. As a professional Baker myself, it was a whole lot of wonderful goodies. The entire store had a really great selection of goods and the fruits and vegetables were very appealing.

The first time ever I had the most un enjoying time at food city this morning. I Absolutely Love their BREAKFAST BURRITOS but today I found out that they make them to order well I asked for bacon egg and potato mind you I walked there walked home opened up my burrito and it had beans in it I didn't ask for beans. Worst ever. But they will refund my money and make my burrito how I asked the first time. Thank You Store Director Carlo Vargas Have a Wonderful Day!!!

Meat specials are too good to pass up. Their XL burritos and grilled pollo are way worth a try. A bit crowded on Sundays. Good service. Needs better Beer sales.

Great selection of latino groceries. Staff is friendly even to us gringos. Just one issue- their cherry filled donut bars had a filling that was going bad and made the bars inedible. That happened for 2 weeks in a row. This week they finally opened a new can of filling. The dough they use is great and reminds me of donuts that we used to get fifty years ago. If you're looking for great donuts try this place.

I suggest to sign up for the text coupons they really are great deals. Only problem is that there is always a shortage on shopping carts. Told a women cashier and she said there was plenty out side. Mind you it's 10pm and it's dark out there. There was no carts lined up on the side. Then she says ooh there should be some now cause the guy had been out there for a long time. Same guy that was chatting it up in the parking lot? Yes. Well needless to say I had to go and find one. Just inconvenient. Just wanted to get my eggs and be gone.

This is a great place they take food stamps and have lots of choose from. They also have great cooked food. Their tortillas are to die for. I will use food City again in the future.

Good place to get cheap produces and other stuff. The store always restock their stuffs so it always available. Meats here are cheap but the quality is not there..
