Every time I come into this store, the cashiers are always in deep conversation with customers about their personal lives, and this slows everyone down. When it happened to me once before, I didn't think much of it, but it happens every time! In my opinion, this is as rude as someone cutting in line. From now on, I am taking my money somewhere else.

This is a family owned store,Food is good and they cook it right after you order , so it's warm when you leave.At times, they do get very busy, so please be patient with them.They do have a website on their food.They also sale animal food,Propane, beer, ice,Please go in and check them out.

Today I ordered the Rodeo burger with a side of cheese fries. The rodeo burger has bacon onion rings and bbq and the cheese fries have the nacho cheese 🤤.It's so good. Definitely would recommend. Ronnie was very friendly and would like to give him a shout out! Thank you for my lunch.

Went there to get (6) 6" Philly Cheese subs from the Wells Country Store Deli. These are better than any other sub places❣ Hours are 10am-6pm. These sandwiches are full of good beef & just 1 is so filling. Love their Tacos

Visited Wells Country Store today to buy something to eat. I experienced the worst customer service by the woman serving the food on 8/17/2023. As soon as I walked to the kitchen counter she immediately raised her voice and asked, "WHAT DO YOU WANT?" and something else along the lines of, "[I AM BUSY.]" and mumbled other things. She was extremely rude upon arrival and while I was there placing the order. She did the same thing to other customers and the man she was working with or working for. I had to look around to see if it was a prank, or if they had a sign somewhere in the store that states they will treat you horrible while shopping there. I thought maybe that was part of the experience as some restaurants around the country provide, such as the now closed restaurant, Karen's Diner. But, no, she was just providing horrible customer service. The food was good, the customer service was the worse I have received, and I will definitely not be going back. I should have not even bought anything.

Wells has been in wittmann for as long as I can remember. it's the last of the real mom and pop stores for where it's at the prices are fair. Good selection id good Their takeout restaurant has a good menu, delicious food, awesome pizza friendly and welcoming. A place where if you live in the area you might run into your neighbor,

We've lived here for 4yrs and was very surprised when we found this small country store. It has a very good inventory of food hardware and odds and ends. It even has a small kitchen area which has great assortment of eats. The prices are good considering the price of gas and the distance to comparable businesses. The employees and patrons are helpful and accommodating.

The new management is so rude. You call to put in an order and it takes 3 to 4 times of hanging up calling back to get an answer. I bought 1 tall can of beer and the extra fees or tax they charge made it a 7$ can when you can drive to the feed store and get it for the right price. All around horrible place. The old management and staff where at least nice.

They sell propane, lottery tickets, some groceries, alcohol and have a good little take out food counter here, a lot of expensive, but decent.

Very nice, family owned and operated, small town, mom and pop place kind of place. Nice to see them still thriving with the family dollar now up the road and a Dollar General going in almost on top of them! I hope they are able to thrive with that too! Nice folks! 🙏💙☝😍

We wont be back..Guy at the front of store was very nice but the little Pizza gal was exrtemely rude.. We were passing by and stopped in and for a moment were pleased to see they had pizza and wings.. Until we were cussed at and told not to stand there f***ing staring when all we were doing was reading the menu signs... We pass by every saturday but will not be stopping there again for any reason. The gas station down the street is far more welcoming.

We order Pizza once a week. Toppings, sauce, and crust are perfect. We order by phone and our order is always ready on time and hot. The store has a little bit of everything. Employees are very friendly.

The patty melt I ordered today was deliscious...Lots of cheese and onions, and my heaping order of fries were super hot-just like the tall girl who works in the deli. Tis a shame they have to mask up, for her smile is so awesome! Her blue eyes are hipnotic...Oh yeah, but the store is a cool lil country store, been going there for years..

This place is just plain cool. It looks like something from out of the old West on the outside but inside is all the convenience store items, cold beverages and even a hot food lunch counter. What I might enjoy even more is the customers. You can rub elbows with a cowboy and a hipster on the same visit.

I have to do this. This has been a long time coming. So many horrible experiences. Have lived and shopped here for 15 years. The very bad attitude from Jeff has to stop. He is obviously very unhappy dealing with people not as what he thinks is as fortunate as him. We spend on the average of 100 dollars a week. We buy beer and feed and scratchers....which he seems even more annoyed with. We spend our hard earned money there only because it is Convenient. The horrible feeling we have when we leave there is not called for and I can't imagine how bad some of the others feel. We have seen some awful attitudes from him to others. He obviously needs to go. Remember...you now have competition coming.

Most of the folks are pretty friendly. The have some stuff. It's a good place to get your propane or feed. Haven't tried the food Pizza etc. I will update when I do.

Most of the people are helpful and friendly.They have a good variety of everything, and a good selection. I wish they still had gas pumps.Their prices are from good to a few pricey things, but I suspect that is from their competition. My parents owned a store very similar for years and it was in a state park area on a lake and near a speedway , a few tourist traps, and pavillion , Resturants, and other Lakes and farmlands, actually a beautiful place in Michigan. The two things Wells doesn't have that my parents store did have is a display cooler with cheese, and the penny candy counter I can't say anymore now, But yeah, for a s,all country store Wells is A-OK.

Grew up in area, and over the years the store had its ups and downs. But everyone was always pleasant store clean and great food. I remember the first store they owned it was a gas station with a little pizza place inside.

It's been over forty years since my first visit to this establishment and Wells Country Store has always had that polite, down home feeling about it. Food is fantastic, beer is ice cold and employees are friendly. Oddy Nuff is just another example of LOSERS who post their HATE anonymously. Most people would speak to the management if there were real issues. Please remember Oddy - Jesus still loves and forgives you !
