The website makes it look nice, but my experience was far from that. It was over grown with dry weeds (probably from last summer). ALL the animals looked so sad and most of them didn't have any company. They are caged in small cages that they don't have the freedom to stretch their legs/wings. Just let those poor animals go, let them go home.

Who doesn't love free....but do buy merchandise. This tribal zoo has really stepped up their game. They have an impressive Eagle sanctuary. You're able to see the indigenous animals because their enclosures are pretty close to viewing areas. The have a big, modern play area in a shaded area. Bring snacks or lunch. Enjoy yourselves.

This is an amazing little zoo and park that was well worth the detour we took from our road trip to see it. They have a wide variety of local animals that were in habitats allowing for close up viewing, well cared for and stocked with a variety of enrichment activities for the animals. This zoo is unique in offering info on both the animal and how they fit into Navajo culture, which we loved! We did find restroom facilities in back near the bears, so don't be fooled by the portable john up near the front! They have a wonderful playground area, plenty of picnic tables and benches throughout park, but we never found any working water fountains, so I would recommend bringing your own water. It was a very safe, clean, open environment, and is always free entry, although they have donation boxes everywhere to allow you to help out!

Great place to bring the kids. It has a several animals the kids and animal lovers will love to see. You are up close to the animals too. The zoo also has a great playground area the kids will love. The zoo is free but they do take donations.

You have to call the park and book an appointment due to the current COVID-19 situation, they took our temp. Our host was David, very informative and friendly. My son and I explored the park at our own pace. We love that these animals have a home, and are taken care of while not being able to be returned to the wild.

A wonderful place to take the kids. It is an amazing zoo for the size it is. The playground is the best I have seen in the Navajo nation.

Took my girlfriend here for the first time .... She loved it.... We plan on sponsoring and Eagle soon ... We took a lil break from fishing just to see this place ... We bought two t-shirts .....Plan on visiting again ..

I had an excellent time here, they made a lot of great changes to this place. The landscaping of the area looks awesome and the trails are nicely maintained and clean. The difference exhibits of the wildlife that you will find on the Navajo Nation reservation are awesome and informative. They are a self made establishment so donations are much appreciated to help with maintenance and food for the animals.

Clean place. Not a lot of animals to see. A lot of common animals (Crows especially). Good play ground for the kids to burn off energy.sucked that the bathroom was closed during our visit. the port a potty was available, but no where to wash hands. They need a washing station, kinda gross with covid and kids playing at the playground after they went to the restroom.

Small facility with local animals in ecosystem. The eagle barn appears new and maintained. Restroom clean with tissue paper, water, and soap. Some areas complete with side walk, other half is filled with gravel. No charge for entrance but donation excepted at various animal cages. A family can adopt animals in zoo. Great little nook for children.

Fun little zoo. Black bear and cougar were awake and walking around. Lots of golden eagles and fun fish and stuff inside. Nice walk around the loop with lots of vines and places to relax. Fun place to stop, plus admission is free!

It was small, but not too busy. The playground was super fun for my kids and the shade they have over it is a plus. The bathroom was clean, the animals all had a good size space. It was free and overall a good experience. I would recommend you bring a water bottle or snacks if you visit as there is no on-site concession or vending machines, but it f you come prepared its nice.

Free to the public and very clean and tidy. Animals are typical to the area were in, and they have a little park in the middle for kids to play. Was a fun day. 🙏😊
