The staff went above and beyond, both inside and outside of the kitchen, to make me feel comfortable with my dietary needs. They were careful about cross-contamination of any nightshades spices, which could cause a flare up with my autoimmune condition. I’m forever grateful to them for their kindness in going an extra culinary mile. The food was so fresh and flavorful! Both my sisters found fun unique items for their children in the gift shop located at the back of the restaurant, and the souvenir stash was affordably priced too! I also bought a Route 66 mug near the checkout for just under $10.00, and it’s a high quality product. Will absolutely be back the next time I’m in Williams, for more of their phenomenal food and shopping!Dietary restrictions: The staff went above and beyond, both inside and outside of the kitchen, to make me feel comfortable with my AIP dietary needs.Kid-friendliness: They have a gift shop situated at the back of the restaurant that has stuffed animals, educational toys, souvenirs and more!

This is a charming dinner with lots of beautiful photos up for purchase. We stopped here late (after 9pm) on Christmas Eve and they were still open. We ordered on the light side as we were traveling and wanted something small. I got the Chicken Salad Sandwich w/Fries and it was absolutely delicious. It had chopped celery, walnuts, grapes and raisins and is a must if your wanting a sandwich. Mom ordered the Open Roast Beef Sandwich w/Fries and Dad ordered the Club Sandwich w/Chili Beans. These were great portions for Seniors, however, if your like me and love food, you might want to order double or order something else aside from the sandwich section of the menu. Just from looking around at others who ordered an actual dinner, the portions looked huge. They have a huge selection of pies and we ordered the Chocolate Raspberry Cream Pie and should have known.....Cream was the main ingredient. I wasn't a fan, but if you like cream pies this is your place. Oh, the slices are huge. Over all, this was a nice place to stop by and grab a bite. The staff were very warm, friendly and attentive.

A wide range of comfort food offers in a homey setting of wood and nostalgia. This restaurant was a breath of relief from all the other places we’ve been to, we could all be happy with our selection.I had the pollock and it was perfectly crisp outside, the batter was thin and the fish inside was fresh and not dry at all. I couldn’t have been happier. I had a choice of 2 sides and I had the broccoli and a small bowl of fresh fruits. The broccoli was crunchy and not overcooked too, a rarity in some restaurants.I tried my friends’s the Texas burger and it was excellent. A good piece of char grilled meat, the chili was hearty and the corn bread was pretty good. A definite yes!My other companions got the chicken salad with sweet potato (thinly sliced to give it a crunch all the way through). The shrimp was succulent and the greens were a generous portion.Service was quick and efficient. They also have many home style dessert pies but we were too full to tasted the pies since the meal servings were huge. The restaurant has a souvenir area and a coffee bar for take out. A companion had coffee and she said it was pretty good coffee.Restrooms were decent, clean. Overall atmosphere was on theme and pretty charming.

Family of 3 had breakfast here twice and dinner once. All 3 meals were standouts in our 10-day vacation. Biscuits and gravy were my favorite, although the chocolate peanut butter banana pie was highly memorable as a delicious accompaniment at dinner. My wife's waffle tasted like candy; maybe the best I've ever tried. An easy walk from the train station and hotel, I highly recommend this as an easy and delicious breakfast choice for any who choose not to stop sup at the Harvey House as part of a train package. Reasonable prices, fast service, hot and tasty home style cooking in a clean and relatively quiet atmosphere.

Definitely NOT a small diner experience it’s a large tourist trap, but it’s pretty good anyway.Semi truck parking however, I did find four parking spots on the side of the road one block awayCowboy breakfast it was excellent and I was in and out in 15 minutes. I sat at the bar. I got very lucky. It only took about three minutes after I ordered my meal for them to bring me the cowboy breakfast.

We had amazing service from the moment we walked in. Greater, sat and drink orders taken. After ordering, it’s wasn’t even 3 mins and our food came out HOT and FRESH!! Now that’s service. It was busy but everyone had such a sense of urgency with smiles on their faces. Love love love this spot. I would come back to Williams just to eat here again. The food IS amazing and tastes homemade. A must try when visiting Williams.

Nicely decorated restaurant in Williams AZ. I had the Red Texas Burger. It's a burger patty covered in chili on top of cornbread. There was not enough juice from the chili to give it some moisture. Still, cornbread was tasty, and the chili/meat patty was good. Little bit of Tapatio on the meat did the trick. Staff were very friendly.

A nice large venue to have breakfast, lunch, or dinner (til 9). Great big windows to see out onto the street (I can imagine how nice it looks when the snow comes down). The pie rack was just amazing to look at and the gift shop is super cute to pick over all kinds of nice tokens to take home.I enjoyed my Sarah's Monte Cristo with hash browns and it wasn't too large of a portion to be able to finish which was nice. The Boston Cream slice of pie was moist and definitely was the highlight of the stop. The Mexican Mocha was superb if you like Mexican Hot cocoa.I would come back to try more items next time and absolutely be checking out more of those amazing pies by the slice.Worth the visit for some good warm food. It was great to see some sugar free and vegan options on the menu while also just keeping it old style diner food. :)

Wow, what a pleasant surprise. We were just passing thru, with zero intention on stopping. However, something caught our attention, "PIE" we decided to head in to grab some pie, but instead, we opted for breakfast... and yes, pie.I had the green chile topped pork tamale, country fries, and two over easy eggs. Holy cow, what a pleasant surprise. Very good. The pie selection is like no other. It was difficult to choose just one. I opted to go with a giant slice of a berry cream pie with my coffee..AMAZING!Did I mention that our food was served in less than 10 mins, and yes, the house was full.People, stop in....you will not be disappointed.

Do not order the hot chicken wing it is simply the worst thing my whole group of 6 tasted in our life. Other dishes are only average at the best. Service was ok they fail to clean our table and it was dirty when we were asked to seat and they just wiped carelessly and it still got pieces and bits on. Compulsory 18% service fee was charged with it asking.

Well it must be a custom here to serve the dinner salad after the main entree?Waitress seemed unorganized.Dinner of country fried meat and baked potato also pot roast dinner.Noting special about the fried country meat, gravy was blah, large potato okay.Large portion of roast “beef”(?) and typical instant mash potatoes.Priced for a tourist location. $4 soda seem high. Water tasted like melted snow along the roadway.Salad was never delivered, until we asked if it was the desert.I wonder how they treat the locals, if even the locals dine here.

In full disclaimer I'm an amateur baker and love to bake pies..I was traveling through the region and read reviews on how great the pie's were at Pine Country Restaurant and wanted to check it out. I ordered the dutch cherry pie. The crust was great not to flaky and the flavor complemented the filling. The cherry pie filling tasted like Comstock Cherry Pie Filling. The pie was good, but it didn't taste completely home made. I've made cherry pie filling from scratch and that's not what I tasted. That being said the pie was still good. Would I go back for pie..probably not.. Would I recommend somebody go there and order a pie.. Sure.. It's not bad.

Heard about this place on tiktok. Decided to try it out and im so so glad I did. Came in only for pie and they were so kind! They weren't judgemental or rude about me only wanting desert and when I needed to find a booth close to a charging port they walked the restaurant to see if they could find me a spot. Pie was to die for! About $6 a slice. We got the banana cream pie and the chocolate dipped cherry and I couldn't even finish a 3rd of it it was so filling (and thats just one slice!). I still have the rest sitting in my fridge im slowly taking bites of trying to savor. I live in the east valley and I'd 1000% drive the almost 3 hours up there to get a pie. 10000% recommend. And if that doesn't convince you, on top of the 41 pie flavors they have, they had over 2 dozen alternative deserts including sugar free, gluten free and vegan options. Was even shocked to see they had a great selection of sugar free coffee flavors like sugar free cherry and sugar free peanut butter (amoung many more which is rare). Didnt try their breakfast or lunch options but man I wish I had!!!

This restaurant is a little gem in Williams, AZ and is a great stop if you are visiting the area. It is across the street from the visitor center and adjacent to zipping parking. Parking is available on the street or at the two aforementioned locations. The restaurant has a full coffee bar and a HUGE selection of pies on display. We stopped in for dinner and tried out some of their breakfast offerings for dinner. The Monte Cristo was fantastic. Their biscuits and gravey were great and soft. We ordered a side of 2 eggs and were pleasantly surprised by the amount of eggs that we received. The breakfast burrito with sausage and home fries was great as well as the country breakfast. We finished off with a huge slice of chocolate covered cherry pie.Food was plentifu,l quality was good, service was great. I would highly recommend trying the Pine Country Restaurant, we enjoyed our visit.Parking: Free parking available on the street or there are free community lots across the street.

We were delighted to find vegan options on the breakfast menu at Pine Country Restaurant. Oatmeal and fruit are often the only options, so it was nice to have other choices. We were not disappointed with our meal. I had avocado toast with home fries, and my husband had the veggie breakfast burrito with a side of pinto beans - both were vegan. The staff was helpful and polite, and they kept our drinks full. They also made sure we were happy with our food. The entire restaurant was spotless. There were plenty of windows for natural light, and the atmosphere was inviting and homey. There was also a cute little gift shop on the way to the squeaky clean restrooms, in case you need to buy a gift for someone back home.We will definitely stop in here for a meal next time we are in the area. We highly recommend this restaurant, and we look forward to coming back!Vegetarian options: Breakfast:Oatmeal w/almond milk is an option.Avocado toast (delicious!) is vegan and can be made gluten free, comes with a choice of side. There is a delicious vegan breakfast burrito filled with veggies and pinto beans that comes with a choice of side.Lunch:Avocado Gardenburger, can be made GF.Dinner:Spaghetti, or "That Sounds Good Salad" can be made vegan.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options available

This restaurant has some good food and amazing pie’s ; I been here a few times and this place gets busy so sometimes it’s a long wait for you to be seated cause it’s one of the best restaurants in Williams.Parking: Ya may have to park across the street from the restaurant over there by the “smoky the bear “ statue at the visitor center they have a big free parking lot not far to walk to the restaurant .

We visited here after spending some time at the Canyon Coaster, it was a little later in the afternoon so we figured parking near the restaurant would be full so we just walked from where we parked near the canyon coaster. The restaurant was mostly full & we had a party of eight, but it took less than ten minutes until they had some space cleared out and ready for us to sit down. The staff were friendly, quick with our order and the food was delicious. Their pies looked amazing as well, but we were all stuffed and had a long drive home so we didn't get any dessert this time. No complaints about the food, or the staff. The restaurant was clean, the bathrooms were tidy and the gift shop was cute & they had a stamped penny machine so I was able to add it to my collection. Great place to stop for a bite to eat!

If you're looking for delicious, affordable food I strongly recommend you go to Pine Country in Williams. The portions are pretty darn big too!My wife and I stopped for lunch and ordered the turkey club, pulled pork sandwich and chips with salsa. Everything was well cooked, seasoned and flavourful. We also couldn't finish this amount of food even though we were very hungry when we ordered. The lady who took us to our table wasn't very friendly or enthusiastic but the wait staff were excellent. Very attentive with drink refills and checking in to make sure we were okay. All up we spent $50 tip included for two delicious sandwiches with french fries, some chips and salsa and two fountain drinks, of which we had multiple refills. Absolute bargain. They also have a selection of delicious pies which you can order by the slice of whole, if we weren't full already we would have definitely had a slice!

Decent restaurant if you’re looking to fuel up. The food is just okay…there isn’t much flavor in it.There seems to be a constant line to be seated, so come early to put your name in.Their pie looked pretty good but I didn’t order any. Heard it was good though. They also have a little gift shop attached to the restaurant. They have some cute stuff in there.

What a super cute, fun, Christmas-y atmospheric type diner on the top of a mountain that served even better food🍳 The staff was extremely nice and friendly and chatted us up while we waited for our to-go breakfast. I had a smothered hash brown with bacon and two breakfast sandwiches. One on rye. Forgot to get the food pics because we ate that deliciousness immediately ( sooo hot and fresh ). While we waited on our food, I checked out all the wall ornaments and eccentric decorations and it couldn't have been a more home style place to come and get breakfast on the way to the Grand Canyon. This place is a must see and try!

Cute place with really good food and a lot of options on the menu. My daughter and I were visiting the Grand Canyon and decided to drive over to Williams for the day. I had read this place sells more pies than any other place in Arizona and I can definitely see why! The food was good and the service was great. Lots of variety of pies, coffee drinks, and hot teas. They have a really cute gift shop in there as well. All the staff was super friendly. Definitely recommend!

We had dinner at Pine Country in May 2023. There was a fair crowd and we had a short wait for a table. It had a nice little gift shop to browse before or after you eat. But we were seated quicker than expected. The first two meals I wanted to order, were both sold out. So I settled for something that I really wasn't in the mood for. The wait staff were all friendly and did a good job. The food had good portions. It was good, but had some shortcomings. But that also depends on taste. And they obviously differ. All in all a decent meal. Not what I wanted. But I'm not upset about what I had.We had a storm come through while we were eating. That left us with a nice rainbow to finish our meal with. Maybe that was a good sign.

Great restaurant, lots of warmth and a gift shop as well.We had a group of about 8 of us, 6 ordered steak and eggs. Every steak came out a little undercooked, even medium cooked still came out a very rare on the inside, the outside looked well cooked, bit crispy, so im guessing steaks are cooked at a high heat and very quick due to how busy this restaurant gets. I found out early about the steaks so I ordered medium well for medium rare, but outside was a but crispy for me...We are huge foodie fans especially with home cooked type of food. The hashbrowns and home fries were not fresh and just a bit plain. The breakfast home fries didn't have any onions or bell peppers. All in all, food was okay. Plan to wait especially when busy, so get there early.Others at our table also ordered French toast, and other food dish in our pictures.Vegetarian options: They have a good size menu with many options. You shouldn't have an issue funding something good to eat.Dietary restrictions: They have alot of options, but if you have foods restrictions, check the menu to make sure.Parking: Didn't have an issue finding parking. You may have to park down the street if it's a busy weekend, buy enjoy the sites as you walk there...Kid-friendliness: Great place for kids. There's also plenty of things for then to look at as well.Wheelchair accessibility: Easy access with a wheelchair as long as you have help getting through the two doors into restaurant. Everyone is helpful so you shouldn't have an issue. There's plenty of room top roll around once you're in there.
