An Oasis out in the middle of the desert. We went in a 40 mile side by side adventure and stopped for lunch. Food was typical bar food but very good! Atmosphere was like an old west dusty pit stop. Fun! The service was excellent!

Don’t believe the menu online from their own website. Went there for lunch and was told that when they are busy you only get 6 choices to eat. When I looked around there was no one else outside where I sat, and only about 2 other tables filled inside. But whatever.I ordered a bacon cheeseburger. One strip of bacon and a burger with a slice of American cheese. No tomato. No lettuce. No onion. No fries (or sides of any kind). Nothing was stated on the menu that you only get the sandwich. So $12.50 for a pink burger, slice of Cheese, piece of bacon and a bun.Lady working the register was rude and clearly hated her job. Short answers to everything but went on a rant about the last person who quit.Beer choices were cans hung from the ceiling wall. If you don’t can’t see far then you won’t see them at all.Gas was $7.00 per gallon….Would not return again.

Not many choices out there but we were surprised. The hamburger were cooked well and tasted great. The fries and onion rings came out hot and very good, as well. Everyone was friendly and serves was good. Would definitely return, next time we are exploring out there.

Out of the way, small restaurant and bar.Great place to eat, have a drink after a dusty ride in the desert. Can't say enough good things about this place, you have to experience the atmosphere and enjoy the good and ambiance.

A fun place to camp, RV only. You can also fly in with a small plane. There is a good restaurant/bar with friendly folks. The road in is a little rough, but lots of trails to ride. Alamo lake is right down the road for fishing

Great spot to grab a bite to eat or a cold one in the middle of no where. Alamo lake is right down the road from here and when visiting the lake or out riding side by sides this is the place to come hang and chill out.

Food okay. Service terrible! Never been treated so rudely. Not many options when you’re in this area camping or whatever, and we felt like the biggest inconvenience. The woman we dealt with was incredibly rude, and lacks just about everything you need to be in her position.

Friendliest staff and the food was fantastic!! They take a lot of pride in their restaurant. If you get a chance, check out the bathrooms. There is some very cool decorating. Someone had a lot of creativity and patience when they did it. Don't use Yelp to get directions though. It brought us to the middle of nowhere. Thankfully, Google maps got it right.

Janette (not sure on spelling) is an awesome bar tender but most of all an amazing host. We have never been to this area in Arizona but we will for sure be back for the burgers 🍔 margaritas 🍹 and the company here at The Wayside bar. Thank you Janette 😊 Merry Christmas 🎅

Great burgers! Fun stop on a road trip from Parker to check out Alamo State Park. 5 miles from the park, truly in the middle of no-where. Nice choice of sides- salsa/chips, tater tots. Green Chile quesadilla sounded good but we both chose burgers and were not disappointed! Server was so kind and made a fresh pot of coffee for us. Great food, value and service.

We stopped in the saloon during what turned out to be non business hours....we didn't plan well for our visit to the near by Alamo lake and needed water bad. Someone was kind enough to open up just so we could get some waters....she was a blessing. Even though the place wasn't open it looked super cute and fun.
