I am so thankful I decided to start taking my dogs to Mountain View in the last year or so. I have only received such high quality care from Dr. Amy and her team, which I had never received from any other vets I’ve been to in Tucson in the past since I moved to Vail in 2015. I have a Doberman, chihuahua, and Pomeranian, and her and her team truly do treat them like their own. They’re very knowledgeable, efficient, and reasonable. It is also clear that they enjoy what they do. I have already recommended them to friends and family.

The staff is Amazing and always helpful. When our dog passed away, they sent a sympathy card to us and it was so heartfelt because they went above and beyond to ensure we were okay during this difficult time. I love the staff at Mountain View Animal clinic!

The staff here ,everyone is very very kind and welcoming. Teresa Seidel DVM, actually sat on the floor with my sweet little pup ,she treated my pup like her own, she held her and spoke to her, gave her a full check up and recommend HONEST KITCHEN ( which I I fed my pups before and they loved it, however Dr Terese Seidel mentioned food allergies and to try the fish blend which my little girl absolutely loves ,eats it all up and so does my senior pup who is 15 . We also spoke about probiotics , however the Honest kitchen fish blend seemed to work, it's been over a month and all is well! I think Mikayla was our vet technician and she was absolutely lovely! Very professional group with lots of love for all of our fur babies! We know where we will always be Mountain View Animal Clinic.

Let me preface by saying everyone here is very nice and they were able to get my dog in quick so for that, I'll give two stars.My dog Jade had a limp and it started getting progressively worse to the point she didn't want to stand on it. We just moved to Vail so our primary vet is back in Tucson about 30 minutes out. They unfortunately couldn't get her in as soon as Mountain View could so I ended up taking Jade there. They examined her foot, took blood work to make sure she could handle the anti inflammatories(which seems weird), x-rays and they determined she just had a swollen foot and a potential hairline fracture which they couldn't tell for sure. So they wrapped her leg up, gave me the medicine, told me to come back in a few days to see how it was going. I went back a few days later, they took the wrap off, said she was still limping and put another on for the weekend. I went back on Tuesday and they took the 2nd one off and again, no change in the limp. They told me if she's not better by Thursday to go back and repeat X-rays.I called my primary vet back in town and I was able to get in that day. Turns out my dog tore her ACL, which was not even mentioned as a possibility at Mountain View. So not only did I spend $600 at Mountain View, my dog went another unnecessary week in pain when she could have been scheduled for an orthopedic consult and surgery.

All of the clinic staff are very professional and focused on identifying & delivering whatever your pet needs. If I could, I would give this clinic & Vet Doctors/Staff much more than 5 stars because they greatly exceeded the 5-star standards.

This was our 1st visit here. We just adopted a rescue a month ago and we wanted to establish care so we went to Mountain View.What a great experience! The technician (I think Edwin?) was great! He sat on the floor with the dog and was so helpful and friendly and informative.The vet, Dr. Terese, was also fantastic! And she also sat on the floor. The vet and the tech were both very thorough and answered all our questions. The dog loved both of them.I would definitely recommend this business.

After having a poor experience at another vet in town, I was referred to Mountain View by a family member. Our rescue pup developed an irritation in both ears - she was scratching til she bled. The first vet told us to change her diet and sent us on our way. After 6 weeks with no improvements, we went to Mountain View. Dr. Terese was extremely quick to diagnose, treat, and send us on our way with a pup who clearly was already feeling relief. The entire experience from reception to payment was top notch. I could not recommend Mountain View enough.

I am an Abyssinian cat breeder hobbyist and cat trainer. Since moving to the Tucson area in 2017, I searched for three years to find a vet who I felt would not only give my pets excellent care, but who would be ready and willing to tackle some of the challenges of health care for breeding cats and newborn kittens. Dr. Hoffman has proven to be enthusiastic in her willingness to learn more about feline-specific reproductive health concerns, reaching out to other vets and experts for information on best practices and medications, and incorporating those into her practice. During this very difficult time of COVID and the increased hassles of everyday life, Dr. Hoffman and her office staff have been very pleasant and professional in welcoming me--and my cats--to her clinic.

Just moved to Vail from the metro-Phoenix area. So pleasantly surprised to find a really friendly, "hometown" practice. The staff are professional and caring. After coming from clinics which seem more like factories, this is a refreshing change. The doctor took time to explain and make sure my questions were answered and even asked for a email follow-up. They did not push additional prescriptions or services.The one thing I would change is to be able to stay my pet during the exam.

From the moment I walked through the door I was blown away. As I walked in the staff took my kennel and cleaned it after one of the cats made a mess in it (nervous traveler). Each staff member showed tremendous patience with these two new cats (recently adopted and a little skittish).Dr. Amy was phenomenal and compassionate towards these two scared cats. She quickly earned their trust and found out what was ailing the youngest. Dr Amy and Becky (Technician) both took time to ensure I understood the gamut of medications that I needed to administer to my sick cat.I will be going back to this little haven of pet love!

We are always confident that when we take our 9 year old dog in for a check up, she'll get the most professional and loving care available. Dr. Amy and the whole staff treat us like family and Jordan as their own. We're confident that her vaccinations are recommended on time and that her particular issues are addressed in an on-going manner.Dr. Amy is about the most professional and experienced vet I've known and we love how she cares for our puppy.

Called today to get my new dog seen. She had not eaten much in 2 days. I explained that I considered this an empregnancy. Staff told me it would be a few weeks before they would see our dog. No other recommendations. They were booked. I do not consider this approach an animal care center.

This post is kind of deceiving. The business is great for all vet needs. Unfortunately, I went there for euthanasia so it was not a good visit on a personal level. However, I will say they took great care of me, my family and Scooby Doo, my Blue Great Dane. He was 3 weeks away from being 11 yo, so very old for a GD.

Vinny is a regular here. He tangled with a coyote and coyote won. He came home covered in bites. They got me into the office within a hour after I called.Dr. Bob is a delight. Vinny took to him right away, and was very compliant in spite of injuries. While they were working on my boy, they also clipped his nails, and gave him a wellness check up.A kind and caring front office staff, clean waiting room and a big walkies area outside.

Good experience meeting Dr. Bob for my dog Duke. He was quite busy with that day and I had appointment and had been waiting for 6 weeks to get in. Yet I had to wait for more time than I thought and I accepted their apology as you never know if another's pet is in more urgent need than your 'own just okay' pet. I Hope to keep this Vet for long term, nice service and worth the wait for this time.
