I love this store! You can find everything for your backyard birding. The staff are all super helpful and are knowledgeable about migratory birds as well as the local friends. I was lucky enough to have Orioles and Gila Woodpeckers nest near us and the products here have helped me keep them coming back every year!

I absolutely love this place. I was there the first day Brad opened up at the original River Road location. I get all my birding supplies there. It’s so much better to do high quality bird feeding. No more huge heavy bags from Costco that end up attracting doves and much was going to waste. I’m a huge fan of cylinder feeding. No waste lasts weeks and attracts amazing birds. If you don’t want squirrels they come in hot pepper formula which mammals can taste and don’t like - but birds don’t have an issue. I use their nyger seed and suet feeders and nest building materials I get from them to hang from the trees - they are very helpful with insights and suggestions and they know me by my name - well I guess since I give them so much of my business I guess that’s why. Run don’t walk to WBU and transform your yard into an oasis and habitat for birds.

It is a franchise that is locally owned. They have great staff and a really good discount program for the products. If you are a bird watcher/lover this is one of two places I recommend. We get most of our wild bird food and accessories here.

I wish I could have bought everything in the store! It's such a peaceful atmosphere inside and out. For several days, I got to sit on a bench outside the store and have lunch as I watched the hummingbirds and other birds coming to the many feeders they had outside. I could see how well their feeders and fountains worked!

Employee was very informative. She had a long conversation with our family about birds and their behavior and food preference. I drive across town (about 35 minutes) to buy bird food from this business. Not just because the products are great, clean and reasonably priced but because the people are fantastic. Always so helpful and kind. Love to bring my dog in to say hi! Feel like they really appreciate the business!

Very helpful and super nice people here! I was intetested in getting setup with some bird feeding supplies and they were very knowledgeable and didn't try and sell me anything. They simply gave me information and and suggestions and let me decide what was going to work best for me. They even helped me out with the perfect birthday present for mom who was over the moon excited with her gift. I will be back soon and reccomend friends and family visit as well! Thanks again!

Very knowledgable staff and ever so helpful to the newcomer. Large selection of feeders and some feeders that will keep the doves from devouring ALL the feed, yet allow the smaller birds to enjoy in peace. How very clever. The shop also have different types of feed. Ample parking.

I love this location! I drive all of the way across town because the staff here are super friendly. Oh and the Rewards membership is totally worth it if you're somebody like me who buys quite a bit of food. I stop in at least once a month and every time I've been here it's been a great experience.

Wild Bird on Tanque Verde is a bird lovers paradise and it’s professional staff is the icing on the cake. My son wanted to create a bird garden for me in our side yard as part of a Boy Scout family project. Katie worked with my son extensively to plan the perfect avian retreat for our family and our lifestyle. She suggested mammal proof feeders and feed, an easy-to-care-for water source and introduced him to the “saving the song birds” initiative. We love what we created. We built it with Katie’s help and now we’re waiting for the birds to come. Thanks Katie and Wild Bird!

They have a great selection of seed and suet blocks. They also carry Sabaku tee shirts, which i like. It's fun to me to buy clothes from a bird shop.

No matter what mood I'm in, I find something that I need at WBU every time. Today, I got a great deal on baby quail food and a red dome to cover the hummingbird feeder that provides shade and keeps the rain from seeping in and ruining the mix. Karen always has new items in, so it is a must to stop by regularly.
