Really friendly service at this Whole Foods along with a nice atmosphere. The pizza was hot and fresh and the hot bar had good options. They do not have Romain Lettuce in the salad bar for no reason I know of which was disappointing. Also the bar in the back had what I consider a tacky bike theme. I have been to downtown coffee shops where they have real bikes on the wall but Whole Foods faked it in this tacky way.I say use real bike parts or pick another theme.

Our local “Whole Foods” (or “Whole Paycheck” as some friends call it). My girlfriend occasionally likes to take Happy Hour here. On this occasion she had a chicken quesadilla; I had the fish & chips, which was pretty darn tasty, if not a bit too salty. The fish portions were delicious filets, lots of fish, not overly breaded. The serving is generous; I couldn’t finish all the fries. They have a reasonable selection of brews and wines, and you can always pick a bottle from the store’s wine selection for the bartender to serve you. That glass of white in the photo was from a bottle of La Vieille Ferme, a decent and inexpensive French table wine.We were there on a Friday night. The bartender mentioned that the fish & chips are the weekend special: $2 off and it comes with a draught beer. I preferred white wine and so offered the beer to my girlfriend.

Fantastic selections at fantastically high prices.I'm always overwhelmed by the selections and prices at this establishment. It's not a destination but an experience. Not my main source of groceries but well worth visiting occasionally for selected specialty items.

I've been to this particular Whole Foods Several times… I would call it almost like a whole food superstore….. It seems like it's a little bigger and newer…. It has a nice outdoor area for sitting and eating food from there prepared food area. They also completed a nice wine area and beer area each is about as big as a regular bar. They also have a smokehouse area and some great tasting barbecue. In other ways it's a typical Whole foods with a large organic fresh fruit and vegetable area,a bakery, a hot food area, a deli area a meat area and a seafood area as well as typical amounts of organic dry goods. I am judicious about what I buy there and look for things of value that I can get is a prime member as well as things that I can't get other grocery I like their Icelandic yogurt and their organic fruit. They also have a good selection of lactose-free milk in organic grapefruit juice that I enjoy. Their bakery has things that I like from breakfast rounds to a specific type of English muffin to homemade baked bread and pastries that offer plenty of choices. They are a complete grocery store with an emphasis on organics.Remember it's not about food only, It's also about expectations, everyone is under staffed, so I always appreciate the service staff who are working. It's in a strip mall area so parking was plentiful but I could tell that it would fill up fast as it seemed to be one busy place.I found that staff were more than willing to help me and most of the time would actually walk me to an area that I had questions about rather then just give me a general directions and send me on my way. The store was clean and well organized and They do a good job of trying to serve people the best way they can and make sure they have plenty of cashiers and a self check out area.

I frequent this location several times a week, some weeks almost daily. My favorite areas of the store are, produce, smoked meats, smoothie bar, and pizza. However, I must say certain areas have really gone downhill and it’s very disappointing. Let’s start with Pizza, this area started going to sh*t when they changed the recipe maybe a year ago. It used to be the best pizza in town, but gradually over the past year I can’t even eat it, just gross. I purchased prepackaged chicken noodle soup a few weeks back, there wasn’t a single noodle in the container. I tried it again last week and not a single piece of chicken. I used to love the smoked meats bar, today I can’t find much that looks appetizing. Things are broken and need to be fixed at this location.

WF has gone downhill steadily over the past 10 years. It used to be our go to store but now we avoid it like a street pothole. We wouldn’t go there at all except it is close by. Besides higher than average pricing on everything in the store, they are frequently out of stock on items. Their self serve food is extremely expensive, you might as well go out to dinner. You will get better food and service for the same price. Their pizza parlour is poorly managed and they never get it right. They are either late on the agreed time, forgot the order all together or do not have the requested toppings. Sprouts is a head and shoulders better alternative.

Update: 6/15/2023. Had some really good nachos and carnitas tacos at the bar today. We recently ate at the bar/cafe in the store and, well, the results were mixed. While the service, music, and ambiance were good, the food was not. The pub fish and chips were over-fried and the batter was overwhelming. The carnitas tacos were fine, but could have been seasoned better. The chips and quac were good. So, hopefully the next try there will be better.Whole Foods provides consistently good service and unique, flavorful grocery items for sale. The bakery is quite good - notably the macaroons, lemon bars/tarts, and flourless chocolate cake. The cheese selection is also excellent. In addition, the gluten-free selection of products is good and quite extensive. The only relative negative is that the prices are fairly high, but I think they are mostly justified based on the good quality.

Here’s my issue with this Whole Foods: the bathroom. Tell me why the bathroom is like a trap house. It’s dark, dingy, the doors don’t lock which may be due to claustrophobia since the stalls are the same size as a coffin. After you survive the experience, you have 1 out of two sinks to choose from as one only drip drops when you turn it on. I expect if I’m choosing to shop at a place with $8 dollar apples and a fake membership that virtually saves you zero dollars every time so have a decent place to use the bathroom.

I’ve been to the Whole Foods on River Rd. So many times over the years but now I felt compelled to write a review. To start, the store is well-planned and easy to navigate. It was easy to find all my ingredients for my dinner that I was planning for that evening. If anyone wants to know, I was making authentic Spanish paella. I just returned from Spain so I wanted to treat my kids to this type of meal that they just won’t get here. When at the fish and meat counter, the server was very helpful in finding the right shrimp, chicken, chorizo, and scallops. He even gave me some “tips” for better tasting paella. I asked for the prosciutto and he stopped what he was doing to walk me across the store to the deli counter.I found all my ingredients with the help of the smiling staff except for the prawns which they didn’t carry. The very personal service with a smile makes up for the higher prices and on this occasion I was happy to pay a little extra.

This review is for the Hot foods bar. I'll say what we're all thinking, after we look at how much we spent at the hot foods bar when it's already too late. Pound for pound, fine dining cuisine is more adfordable. The picture attached is what $4.50 will get you at the hot bar, less than a cup of rice. Are you ok with spending $3 per chicken strip? Come on down to the Whole Foods hot bar where they make the same trash as Walmart and sell it to you for at least 8 times the price.

I LOVE the Whole Foods at River Rd. / Craycroft. It's super clean, the produce is impeccable, the meats & roasts are delicious, and the staff is always friendly. The service counter is also a favorite of mine and is extremely helpful for quick lunch / dinner options. I can not leave the store without visiting the desserts. Family favorites include the plain pound cake and lemon iced loaf, both of which are delish with morning coffee. Then, there's this moist, strawberry frosted cupcake. This single cupcake is absolutely divine! Id say rich, but then that implies 'share,' and who wants to share with such a heavenly bite? HahaI live nowhere near this location, and it's worth the effort and fuel expense every time. I deliberately choose this location to drop my Amazon returns so I have an "extra" reason to stop by 😉

Very helpful New Check Out Clerk..she was great!.. It's nice to be around people like her when you have to be out doing errands...!! A delightful person. Also, I observed how careful & considerate the insta-cart shoppers are with the grocery orders at Whole Foods...

Paid $134 for a pre-cooked Thanksgiving meal. Didn't get green beans we had paid for. All of the sides were frozen solid. Stuffing was no better than "Stove Top". Potatoes were not as good as other frozen potatoes we buy. Gravy was outstanding. Followed the reheating directions to the letter. Turkey wasn't cooked completely even after 2 hours at 350. Center was blood red and cold. Really disappointed. Finally we ate our meal that was scheduled for five o'clock at 7:30 pm... Thought I was doing something nice for my wife who is I'll. What a mistake....I won't make this expensive error ever again.

Whole Foods Market on River Road in Tucson, Arizona is probably one of the best grocery stores that I've been to. There's a huge selection of produce, and their Whole Body section has a ton of vitamins and supplements as well. The staff seems to really be nice too. I highly recommend it!

Stopped in from out of town for lunch to get some good stuff for our hotel fridge; while there we noticed the in store bar. New concept for us. Soooo… instead took advantage of it and had lunch there. Service was awesome, tacos were great!

Took one star off for being expensive, but it's whole foods, or whole paycheck, and everyone already knows it's expensive. It is possible to find some good deals. The food bar is always great, unless you get there close to closing time, but they're not going to be putting our fresh food then. But even with the price, you do get what you pay for and it's always good. Always have vegetarian and vegan options, and although I'm not vegan, I've had some of their vegan food and it's really good. Store isn't as big as the one where I live in Louisiana, but ours does not have a bar in it...a bar! I'm jealous. People are always friendly and great at helping.

Nice shopping experience but the hot lunch meals at the wine and beer tavern are sorely lacking. $50 for a beer and an entree each with a slice of cake for desert was disappointing. Whole Foods should be better. My wife’s chicken was over cooked as well as my burger. Service was excellent though. ☹️

Closest store to my house so I go here. Produce quality has gone downhill in the last year while prices have skyrocketed. Same with fresh flowers, the quality used to be great and now they're mediocre. Satisfactory BBQ and dessert selection. Cart management needs work, often there are no carts at the entrance because they're all in the parking lot.

Bathroom is icky. Lighting throughout the building is poor. Air is dank and unhealthy. I felt awful for hours after exiting the building.

Fun summer shopping! I got water refills and some great foods to eat this week. Summer fruits are in peak season. A few years of corn are awaiting sale. It is still a bit early.

This location always seems to be out of something. Then the staff doesn't seem very helpful to want to assist. They ask as if I'm bothering them by being there. This isn't a location I'd be in a hurry to return to. ☹️

I love this place. Their fresh seafood is excellent (if you haven't tried their smoked salmon, you must) and they have a great selection. I love that they have a little sit down spot for beer and wine as well as a place to eat if you want. I love their wine and cheese selections too. Honestly, I just love shopping here. I feel healthier just walking in the door.

Great store. This one has a small bar in the middle of the store. You can shop then have lunch and a beer at the same time. Loved it.

5 stars for the layout, local items, Urban Remedy, and friendly employees. 1 star for the bar near the produce section with people drinking and hanging out without masks on.For individuals trying to stay safe and only doing essential outings, this is not the place for you. It feels reckless shopping for produce next to other masked shoppers with people talking loudly and laughing (and therefore emitting more droplets) in the same vicinity.
