Update from 1-14-24:I guess I am going to drop another star because I keep having the same issue when I make purchases from this Walmart. This Walmart must not look at their reviews as it refuses to put the customer first by not having more cashiers available to check customers out. As shown in the picture, only one checkout is available, and 3 checkouts have no cashier. Meanwhile, all customers in cashier and self-check lanes are waiting quite a while for purchases to be rung up. Please, Walmart, consider the valued customer's wasted time and help to support the labor force by having at least 2 cashiers available to check customers out in a more timely manner. Thank you for listening!Update from 10-21-23Here we go again! This time, when I checked out with a cashier (glad to see one available), both digital screens for customer viewing as items were rang up, were either slow or not working. I even made the comment that it was pretty bad when the human was faster than the computer! I will say that the cashier was very friendly and understanding about the ordeal. They also have a nice selection of Halloween candy and other items.Updated from 8/11/23:This visit was for a couple of returns, which took a while because they only had 1 employee working in that section. Another employee arrived to help, and the first employee finished with the return she had and left for lunch, leaving those in line with the same scenario as before of a long wait in line for service. This Walmart seriously needs to make a few changes to better serve the community. I unfortunately had to drop another star for this. When I see improvements, I will upgrade my reviews and add stars as I see they are earned.Updated from 7-26-23:Disappointment from today's visit:I'm still amazed that all the open checkout lines are self check here! Another customer and I each had to request that we be checked out by an actual cashier! As much as Walmart makes and they want customers to check themselves out! I feel I should do my part to help cashiers keep their jobs and not add to the homeless rate, which just seems to be steadily increasing. I'm seriously disappointed in Walmart for this lack of care for the labor force and am subtracting a star for this.Positive reflection from today's visit:I must add that the clearance items I found today were worth the trip.Updated from 3-13-2023I'm adding a star back on... the store is cleaner, the cashiers are always so sweet to me, and Victoria, who runs the ladies' dressing room, is a pleasure to talk to. The other employees all seem to be very helpful and in good moods. The only downside to going in or coming out of this Walmart is the number of homeless people that are around, and someone always hits me up for some change, which I rarely have.Olriginal post:I guess it's just since the pandemic that it's a little harder for stores to keep full stock of some items so it's probably not Walmart's fault that part of the few of the items that I wanted were out of stock. It was fairly easy to check out, and the employees were very helpful.Update 12-16-22I took off a star (originally a 4-star review) because the ladies' restroom really needed attention, and the store seems to have gone down a bit since it's opening.

I mean... The people of Walmart says it all. This is where we go when we don't care what it is or where it's made or what it's made with or if it caused an oil spill... Where you don't expect service because they treat their employees like indentured servants. And yet... We all find ourselves here from time to time.. I wouldn't call it a guilty... pleasure.. whatever the opposite of that is.

The online order pick up service is extremely unreliable. We’ve tried them multiple times and majority of the time the order is cancelled on us or very very delayed or most items were not found and couldn’t be substituted for some reason. It’s very irritating, especially when your depending or planing meals around the grocery order and they don’t cancel it or tell your it’s been delayed until it’s time for it to be picked up. On the bright side they refund you quickly at least but definitely will not be using this location anymore.

Today I went with one of my plushies and was scared they were gonna think I stole the silly but the associates did not! There was also a lovely lady named Deborah ( not sure if I'm spelling that correctly) that was positively polite! Wonderful experience!!!

THEY WILL MAKE YOU FEEL LIKE A THIEF. My trip to this Walmart sealed the deal that I will never be shopping at Walmart ever again. I went in the store for 2 items. There are no check out registers only self check outs, you’ve got people with loads of groceries scanning their items at the self checkout while they have 2 workers standing around the self checkout watching people scan their stuff instead of having them ring people up. Then, we’ve got “door guy”. Now this is the kicker for me. After waiting in line for 20 minutes to scan my 2 items and pay for them their self checkout machine asks if I want a receipt..of course I print one because I know they’re gonna harass me at the door for it. Sure enough I get to the door and door guy steps in front of my and says “I need your receipt.” I looked at him, looked at the 2 items in my cart that they just watched me pay for and handed him my receipt and told him to keep it. If he wants it so bad he can keep it. What a slap in the face to work hard for my money and then come to this store and pay for items I need and then be accused of theft at the door. I do not need to give you anything at the door. This is my receipt, these are my items that I paid for with my cash. Keeping people at the door with their items is illegal. You can’t stop every single person on their way out. That’s a fat lawsuit right there for wrongfully accusing someone of theft and I believe Walmart actually has its own policy for this. What a joke. Been shopping here for over 20 years.

A really nice, newer Walmart. The customer service department was efficient and kind. The store was clean and modern. The workers seemed like they were happy to have a job. I wish this location was closer to home

Horrible customer service, the shelves are empty and the bathroom are atrocious. Knowing that you have 1,000s of people that go through Walmarts every day, the bathrooms should be cleaned more often. I always have to go in and clean off the toilet because someone did their business all over the seat and/or floor

All I can say, its a great store, whatever you might need is there.there. It was cold and rainy but I had no choice. The day before was a beautiful warm day but I didn't want to wait for #4 bus so I took #8 and went to Bway a big mistake, that will not happen again. As I was waiting for the bus home another older gentleman around the same age as me agree. He was traveling to Grant Rd and Oracle, while I was going to Grant Rd and Silverbell.

This is a really great store, and one of my personal favorite Walmart Supercenters here in Tucson. It's in a superb location, always has consistently capable employees, a generally fantastic selection, with of course the very best prices which is the bottom line, right? I like shopping at Walmart. It's a very smart company with an unbeatable business model and frankly I'd be lost without them. Kudos!

I was at this particular Super Center to purchase last minute gifts. I found everything I wanted to. However, I couldn't find just one of the things that I was looking for on my list. I knew it was there somewhere, but I had to go through several sections just to find an employee that could guide me to where I needed to be. If it weren't for that little bit of irritation, I would give the store a five star rating.

Short version: I don't recommend this store. Everything is locked up. Employees are obviously overburdened. Store is crowded and anxiety-inducing.Every time I need to get something simple it's locked behind glass and I have to search for a burnt-out employee who hates their job to unlock it for me. Then I'm treated like a thief and I'm not allowed to even look at the product before purchasing it. "I'll take this to checkout so you can pay for it he says." While he holds it close to his body like it's a precious gem that he must guard at all costs.This store creates an inaccessible anxiety-inducing environment to the point that I refuse to shop there. How is it that Target offers many of the same products but yet offers a much better shopping experience even though it's just opposite of this location?

Pickup and delivery department are awesome and so helpful.However, lady inside the Walmart customer center at 9:40 AM Feb 25, 2024, elderly woman with a white bob cut and black rimmed glasses, was extremely rude and unhelpful. Her mother raised her wrong. She told me there was no way for her to contact the delivery department and that I had to "go outside and find one of the pickup people in a vest and bother them". I called Walmart store phone number and it immediately told me to press 4 for delivery and pickup department. If this old bat at the customer center doesn't know the directory extension to call another department from the public number, maybe she's too mentally addled to hold a job that should go to someone coherent. She kept saying she wasn't allowed to contact other departments on the phone "because of Covid", but that I was supposed to go outside and harass the pickup employees face to face to get help. Absolutely insane woman, they just hand out jobs to dementia patients or something.

I jjust purchased 12 gallons of distilled water, and discovered that I've been paying 5 cents more per bottle than it is marked on the shelf. Yes, it is only 60 cents (this time), but it annoys me, and makes me wonder if I've been getting ripped off every time I shop there. If they are going to list the price then that is the price they should charge!

This Walmart seems to be requiring more security every time we visit. Some real characters hanging around. Probably our last visit. We'll go out of our way to avoid it. Unfortunate. We used to love to shop here.

I recently purchased photo Christmas cards from this location and the experience has been absolutely horrible. First, when I picked up my photo order from the store, I looked in the envelope to see how my cards turned out, THEY GAVE ME SOMEONE ELSES PHOTOS!! someone else’s personal photos were in the envelope with my name on it, which also means that someone else was given my personal photos because they were nowhere to be found after I told the employee about the issue at hand. Then after I told the employee, he scrambled to get my actual photo cards printed right away, which at first was greatly appreciated, until I came home and realized I was only given 9 OUT OF THE 15 that I ordered. And to top it all off, they were all horribly off centered and cut so sloppy that you could see the trim hanging off the side of the card. Since I wasn’t given the full amount of cards that I ordered, now I have to do a second order and do the entire pickup process again. Extremely disappointed with this experience and will never trust this location to complete a photo order for me ever again. I hope there is a manager that sees the magnitude of how unacceptable it is to give away people’s personal photos to strangers and hold the employee that made this mistake accountable for their careless actions.

I order online (1 item)I get the email ready to pick upEmail states I can pick up 8 to 8Representative from online order says, you can pick up after 11 bye. I say no let me talk to a manager. Representative says no and refused to give name.I finally get the pick up at this location.I been waiting for 45 minutes I saw a person park after 10 minutes of me waiting and get the person got his item before me. Never going to order online from here, to many options to be treated this way. Especially after I followed walmart email instructions.

This Walmart has a very open, friendly, and helpful customer service department. The shelves in the grocery department always seem to be filled. The floor people are smiling and very friendly. At least to my knowledge.

Very Busy this time of year and with all the dirtbags and cranksters lurking around, honest shoppers are treated like thieves and have to show a receipt when leaving. Get rid of self checkout! Last week I saw a guy walk out of the store with 2 arm loads of stuff. Right past 2 Pima County Sheriff's deputies watching the rear self check out lanes. Actually they were leaning against a display and talking to eachother instead of watching... The door man asked for a reciept and the guy just kept walking. I understand the added scrutiny with massive rise in theft. But I am not a thief and don't like being treated like one.

This is my go-to grocery store. Can't beat Walmart prices in this economy. Only issue is they need to have more lanes open on busy days, sometimes you can get stuck waiting in line forever just to check out.

They don't allow handicapped customers to bring the store scooter out to their cars. They embarrass them by stopping them at the door. It's fine. Scooter stealing must be a thing.

This is one of my favorite Walmart's...... Honestly, I am disappointed that they are closing now at 10:00 p.m., because sometimes the working folks, find it too difficult to get to the store before they close, at 10:00 p.m., when some of us don't get off work until, 9:30 p.m.

Absolutely Horrible the Way they treat Spark Drivers ,they have over 20 Registers in the store yet they only allow Spark to use 2 of themEven though the set of 4 registers is identical with one employee watching All 4 ,Spark is only allowed to use one half of it ,which is totally not right Especially when regular customers can use all 4 ,Spark drivers are in a hurry to make a Delivery on time ! But this particular El con store makes it near Impossible when your stuck behind 2 people with Full Carts who are in NO RUSH ,Spark Drivers are delivering to YOUR CUSTOMERS,So why are they being Treated so Poorly ?? This is why I don't shop this store ......
