There's no doubt that this store is the product of great, dedicated, long-term employees combined with a superlative corporation to create an amazing shopping experience! This has been my home grocery store since I came to Tucson 10 years ago. I'm personally partial to the butcher's counter where the lobster, crab, shrimp, seafood salads, etc., kabobs, etc., are all the rage! Their seafood & steaks are top shelf & always so fresh! Poppers & brochettes, too! Yummy! This store has such a great selection of beautiful food & still they always find a way to surprise! Keep up the great work! :-)

Dirty store. Some employees are good but some want you to bag your groceries even when you are not in self checkout. They had construction going on in store while a scissor lift was driving around. No safety person warning customers that it was driving around store.

The App they use for their their discounts rarely works. When it does the prices are incorrect and done has to reenter the information. The lines are usually long because they have to tee yet the information for the discounts. If you talk to the manager, she makes it a customer issue rather than a system or store issue. Now they “ recommend” you don’t go into the self check out if you have discounts. Way to go Safeway, deflect your problems back into the customer!!!!

Phenomenal first visit to this location. Amazingly friendly staff and the gentleman working the self checkout went above and beyond such a good atmosphere and environment very glad it is my closest grocery store as I am legally blind and they were extremely helpful 10 out of 5 stars

Great store if they have what you need on sale. I can't believe they don't have a restroom for their customers.Went there for the spareribs they had on sale, none available. Why do they have sales and not have what's on sale?

I had a large transaction and the cashier named Chris was friendly, accurate and handled everything within a timely manner. I hope he gets recognized for the great work he does. The store looked faced and clean so I want to thank the courtesy clerks and departments that were stocking today as well, also, the deli clerk double checked with me if I was okay with the request I ask for being that it had nuts in it- is very great to ask, and the meat clerk was more than pleased to fulfill my request for some fish before he closed. Great service

Bad Meat at Safeway is Non-returnable and Non-refundable due to Corona Vitus!!!!!#coronnavirusSafeway had a weekly ad special on USDA Choice Beef Petite Sirloin Steaks buy 1 get 3 free. So I bought 4 packs that totaled $156.40 and only paid $42.22 for all 4 packs.This would have been an awesome deal, until I got them home and opened the packages up. What should had been nice red steaks, turned out to be gray.Spoke to one of the store managers who couldn't tell me if it was safe to eat or not. He further stated that due to the Corona Virus, that I most likely wouldn't be able to return it nor get a refund on it.

I accidentally dropped a $100 bill while shopping. An employee found it and returned it to customer service. After I checked out, I spoke to the cashiers and was quite surprised to find it had been turned in.Very high quality and ethical employees. I'm very impressed.

Did my big Thanksgiving shopping yesterday. I’ve struggled in the past trying to use my discounts, especially digital coupons. But my checkout clerk went above and beyond assisting me to get the best prices available to me through the rewards program. Including my 10% coupon for getting my flu shot at this location, I saved almost 30% off my total. The store was clean and well stocked.

Update!! Still hasn’t got any better! The customer service here is the absolute worst!! 10/10 DONT recommend!!!Worst experience every time I shop here! They always have 1 lane open and 15 people standing around.. this morning I went in and they only had self checkout open... they told me well you just need to request someone and they will come. Why can't you just at least have one lane open. We're never shopping here again!

Despite being smaller than the Safeway on Broadway and with fewer selections they still have what I need. The isle in front of the registers is a bit cramped due to the store's smaller size.

I like this Safeway a lot! Best Pharmacy and staff of any Safeway to me! I travel 20 min just to use this pharmacy, and this store is always in great shape!

All experiences with all departments professionals. Knowledgeable of all departments when asked for a product that is located in a department that is not their purview, there is always a willingness to take the time to walk you to the product you are looking for. I like to give a shout out to the pharmacy (excluding the manager of this department, not to be confused with the pharmacist). Safeway has a price guarantee that says if you are charged incorrectly for an item under $5, that item is then free. If the item is over $5, they are to correct the price and also issue you a $5 gift card.No one that works at this location is familiar with this policy.Google Safeway price guarantee.So the cashier goes with me to price check, and agrees that the item is ringing up incorrectly. So I tell her it should be free. She calls the little night manager over who then goes to check the price himself. Comes back and says there's no longer a price on the shelf. The item that was just price checked by another employee now doesn't have a price on the shelf. Incredible.

Yeah my California ID clearly says "21 in 2020" but the employee stared at my ID longer than anyone ever had and still tried to deny selling me alcohol because it was "vertical". Then she finally admitted she didn't know anything about California ID's and let me purchase. I don't like the hassle and annoyance of this place.

This Safeway was like most. Lots of parking. Lots of food. It didn't have and small containers of whole milk that we were looking for, but had a lot of other kinds of milk. It felt overly cold inside to me, which I'm sure would feel great to some others. Prices were a little higher than I'm used to from others I've been to.

I want to go into this store in and out!! I do not want to use the self check out, I hate those machines that never work. There are always people with no mask inside the store, I don’t feel comfortable hanging around there struggling with self checkout. I want to be able to get my needs In and Out ASAP!! Open up more lanes!! What happen to good ole fashion customer service????
