My poor Draco. He was 14yo, almost 15. He had been diagnosed with untreatable oral squamous cell carcinoma. Dr Crocker was the first vet that we spoke with and he was so compassionate. He explained very succinctly what to expect with this diagnosis. All of the veterinary assistants and receptionists were incredible. The situation became untenable and I took Draco back for his euthanasia. Jolene Conley was the attending practitioner. I really appreciate their kindness and patience with me. They were so gentle with Draco and I would recommend them for anyone who's looking for a veterinarian that really cares about the impact they have on the lives they touch.

When we walked in, I was greeted warmly by the receptionist and my dog and I were taken immediately to the exam room. The vet assistant was kind, friendly, and sweet to my dog. We discussed the plan for the visit and he checked the records to ensure that none of the procedures were being repeated. When Dr. Crocker came in, he couldn’t have been friendlier and more informative. We have gone to this clinic for years and have been very happy with the vets and how the clinic is run.

My first visit was great. The veterinarian was so good with Chica. The staff is friendly and extremely helpful. I would recommend them in a heartbeat. We just moved to this part of Tucson and I was so nervous finding a good pet care clinic... Happy I found one so far!

I was so glad to get my dog, Fitz, in the next day as a new client. His vaccinations were coming due and he had a bump that was concerning. When I adopted Fitz, I was told he was not great during veterinary care and was dog reactive. I was not looking forward to the appointment; however, Dr. Compton and staff were friendly and knowledgeable. We were walked directly into a room and seen promptly. I was given an estimated cost prior to any care/procedures being completed. I will continue to use this office for my dog's needs.

Dr. Crocker is such a great vet for my dog. He's very knowledgeable and never tries to oversell services that are not needed. I have complete confidence in his care which makes going to the vet a much better experience. The personnel are all polite and helpful, which also creates a happy experience.

My small dog was coughing and gagging. I had a 4pm appointment yesterday and was escorted right into a room. The doctor looked at a video of my dog and immediately pinpointed the problem. A collapsed trachea. We were given steroids and he is doing much better today. What I liked most was the promptness and accuracy. I was told up front how much the x rays would cost before they did them. It was a great overall experience and I will be bringing my other animals here as well.

Excellent clinic with great staff. They do collect a deposit for new customers that will pay for the basic checkup and appointment. They’re punctual with phone call follow ups for testing results

We love Dr Crawford. He seems to really love dogs. I like that they don’t try to up sell products or services that are not necessary.I do wish that they would do the exam in the room with us. I prefer that so we can talk about it and ask questions while the exam is being done.

All of my concerns were answered and it was discovered that my dog had an ear infection that I did not even know about, she has since stopped scratching and shaking her head. So glad I went in for her shots!

River Road, the vets and techs are great! Clean, nice facility, very reasonable pricing and in-house lab for bloodwork. They were able to fit in my rescue Pyr within a few days of me calling and have been very accommodating to my new Pet Parent questions and concerns and very gentle with my giant fluffy boy. He walked out a happy camper, even after a blood draw! I can tell that both new and long term staff at this practice work together to take good care of your pets and really love their work. They also take tap to pay to make checking out with your pet easier!

Outstanding customer care. We have a older dog getting. We had a issue that required emergency care. They could not see her but recommended another. Well got my dog the care she needed but it was not River Vet. Being my older girl is the star of the doctor appointment after her emergency i took her back to River Vet for her continued care. Regardless of she's hurting or not she looks forward to working with the Vet techs there, and they Vet docs work with me on a relusitc plan for my lady ❤️

The tech and Dr. Crawford were very thorough getting our dog's history, etc. and making sure they understood our concerns.
