If I could give this a zero I would. The extra fees are ridiculous. There’s a fee for the groomer to use the tools! My dog was shaved so close she was almost hairless. It was awful. And they didn’t show her to me until after I had paid, otherwise I would have argued more.

I have a short haired corgi and they charged me for long hair. They said they go by breed and since she was a corgi its considered long hair. There are 2 types of corgi long hair and short. My dog is not long hair. Only reason i brought her here was because im a trucker and regular groomer was booked. Not cool to charge for long hair when ur dog is not long hair and is short hair.

I take my canine Bella to the Petco location at Houghton and Old Vail Road. The groomer Maeli always does an excellent job taking care of my Bella’s needs. She goes above and beyond every time, and should get an award for greatest groomer ever!!

Very uneven cut . Trimmed ears way too short . Face is not long short and uneven. We are going out of town tomorrow. I’m ashamed of her hair cut .Positive note . She is clean .

Jackie is wonderful with our elderly dog Rusty. She is patient with him and always ready to point out any concerns. She pointed out a concern with one of his ears, so we are having the vet check him.

We took our pitbull in to be shampooed, have her nails clipped, and the whole package that comes with it. We had gone before, and it was a very pleasant experience, but this time around it wasn’t so great. I made an appointment, I took her in, and, when I picked her up, she wasn’t the same bouncy dog that I took in. She seemed tired and lethargic. The first lady I talk to told me that she had thrown up in her crate. I asked if they had fed her, and she said yes. Why would they feed her? They didn’t they ask me if they could feed her. They didn’t tell me they were going to feed her. If they would have, I would have told them not to because I had just fed her prior to coming. Then, the second lady that I talked to said that she had been injured in her crate. I asked how it happened and they could not tell me. They said that she cut her foot and a mole on her belly. I looked at her foot, and it was still red from the blood, as well as her belly. You groom my dog, and you don’t even have the decency to clean the blood off of her? We got her home, and she was very tired, and just wanted to lay down the rest of the day, so we didn’t bother her most of the day. But later, when she joined us for some outside time, we were petting her and noticed that she still had a dirty film on her and she didn’t smell clean at all. I personally doubt they even washed her. I’m so disappointed in their service and the fact that NOBODY can tell me what happened.

I have never been disappointed. Amanda is wonderful and takes good care of Wally during the groom. We also love pearl as she was Wally’s trainer shortly after we adopted him. His anxiety is lessening with each visit and I believe that’s because his repeat groomers really like him and care about him. And they do a great job of deep brushing, trimming his nails, and getting a great bath. He smells sooooooo good!

The two groomers who checked Rocky in and out were courteous and explained the services and choices knowledgeably. The groomer who groomed Rocky took great care in digging out thorns from his paws and nose, and treated Rocky with care. They explained the problems dogs can have in Tucson and helped with medicine for his paws. The grooming area was tidy and clean.A very good experience!

Abigail is a 6 year old Brindle Boxer Mix who I adopted from the shelter about a year and a half ago. She had been abused, beaten and attacked by other dogs at least twice. She had open wounds, and her bottom teeth had been broken off at the gum line. She's still afraid of other dogs and on vet visits shakes and attempts to push her 67 lb. body under my chair. She needed her nails trimmed, which has always been stressful for both of us and I could only snip off the tips. When I called Petco on Houghton and explained her history to them, the assured me they could trim and buff her nails without a problem. The girls were very welcoming and understanding and Abigail went with them to the back. A short while later they paged me. Abigail's nails have never look so great. They were trimmed and beautifully buffed with no rough edges. I was thrilled and Abigail was happy. . . . . .she made some new friends. I will return to this same Petco in the future. Thank you Petco for hiring such caring and compassionate staff in the grooming department. The girls gave Abigail a beautiful manicure.

Jacqueline always cuts both of our dogs hair perfect. We just got a new Cairn Terrier who is scared of everything and Jacqueline cut his hair perfect. They were fast and friendly.

My Poms don’t need much in the way of grooming, but what they need is done well and my dogs, I’m told, cooperate with the groomer. Like with me brushing them, I have built a trust with them and the groomer has built a trust and they allow her to work on them. Good job!!

Our old hound is not good with strangers so I've always hesitated to use a grooming service but Bailey was very good with her and we will be doing this again on a regular basis.
