The sales associate, I believe her name was Zanya, was super helpful. I was buying a pet hamster for my kids, but I had no knowledge of anything. She provided us with so much information which helped us decide on which animal would be a good fit for our family. Additionally, she helped us pick out a habitat, food, bedding, and all the essentials we would need. Lastly, I can't thank her enough for all the tips and advice! So far, Archie, seems pretty happy here at our house. We love him!

Don’t take your dogs here to get groomed if they have mats in their hair, because the groomers will shame you publicly, and then intern hand you over a dog that they’ve completely shaved instead of taking the time to groom your dog appropriately. I took two mini schnauzers in to the groomers, and I was given back to completely shaved beards, and my dogs now look like mini greyhounds. I’m not even sure that my dogs got a bath because one of them had flakes of dirt on her back. She kept calling my dog, a boy, and I told her that it was a girl, and as she took her away, she called her a boy again. The level of professionalism. At the Marana Petco, in Arizona was by far sub par.

I have so many problem with orders online1. The first order - I ordered the item with sale price. Then we they are total , they take the original price and then gave me discount. Then the discount was not correct. I went to cancel teh order, they said they will do that... but the package is still arrived. I called back. they said I have to bring to the store for return.2. The second order. I ordered the package of dog diapers and 2 bags of dog food. The total amount is correct but when I went to pick up. The clerk did not give me all the items. They said I did not order the diaper. I went home to check the receipt, they charged ALL the all items but I dont have the diaper.It looks like some one delete the diaper items without my knowledge.I am now have to call back for this problem.3. The last year, I have the subscription monthly of Fat dog . They have back order so I thought it was ONLY the 1 months, but the subscriptions is canceled.I am frustrated with the online order from Petco. I will not do business with this company.Kathy

The store was clean and didn’t smell like a pet store. They seemed pretty understaffed when we were there. Phones ringing constantly, long lines, no one available to answer questions on the floor, but I know that’s not the employees fault. They eventually made it all work and we were outta there. We’ll continue to visit for our fish, Henry the Betta

I was looking for PJ's for my dog.... selection was really poor. He had to have a hair cut recently and I was looking for "clothes" that would keep him warm. The selection of PJ's and sweaters was poor. I finally picked out a sweater that was thick and warm, but super ugly, just a plain beige. The PJs were white ...I don't even like my human children to wear white because it gets dirty too easily, much less my fuzzy children.

Went here after a tough loss at the casino to feed my severely malnourished snake. Upon discovery of my malnourished’s snake (Angelo) favorite meal (frozen mouse). It brightened my day to say the least- to fill the gaping void which is Angelo’s stomach and my heart. After engulfing my heart with emotions- I proceeded to the counter in hopes that my day was looking up. I was greeted by a creature from the depths (AJ the store employee) who had shades of darkness in her eyes that I was unaware of. In my glee and joy- i said In a joking manner “is there a return policy for if this mouse is dead” (it’s frozen). She responded from the depths of hell “no” “you’re not the only person to say that”. Instantly my joy and happiness descended to the depths with AJ the store employee. At that moment I knew- the devil is upon us gretching into the soul of this employee AJ. At that moment- I knew, she tainted this mouse with her evil wrath and that I’d be putting my snake Angelo in harms way. So I decided Angelo’s hunger will have to wait. The starvation will be the only cure to overcome AJs darkness. Needless to say- AJ… My snakes life is in gods hands now. Your evil ways will not taint all his hard work. Called in regards to a same day deliver order, wasn't sure if I ordered from this PetCo or the one on N Oracle (it was N Oracle) so I called N Oracle asking about my order and the guy I spoke to was obviously having a bad day with his attitude, and absolutely zero help, I'm only here cause I have to be attitude. So couldn't confirm anything about my order.Then I called this PetCo and spoke to "Joseph M." who was literally the exact opposite, was genuinely night and day. Wasn't even the right store but went above and beyond to figure out what was going on. Dude's a legend, thanks Joe!

I grew up with a fish phobia but one day, a loved one bought me a fish unexpectedly. I began to care for it and thought maybe they deserve the care i want. Now I love my little family of aquatic friends. Only have 1 so far but petco helped me see my future better for my own and family pets.

Took my dog in for trim. Service and staff were excellent. My dog is normally a little shy but warmed right up to his groomer. They did a great job with his hair and nails and everything. Very pleased with the service and staff. Just wish they could combine the vet service, shot clinics, store and groomer into one unified platform with all my pets info. He got his rabies shot at the same place about a year earlier and I couldn't find a record of it anywhere. Thankfully the staff was able to find enough evidence of it that they didn't require me to get another one first. So again... Kudos and Much Respect to the staff for going all out. Thanks

I was only interested in dog stuff on this visit and I found the stocked items to be severely limited and the staff not very helpful or knowledgably. If you know exactly what you are looking for and have already done research to ensure that specific item is on the shelf you might be ok. Otherwise it's probably not worth the trip.Update!... Mar 2024Ok, so not sure of the date of my last posting. But after reading it and comparing my last experience, I would think it's a totally different store. The shelves seem stocked, but admittingly I knew what I was going to get. My client needed a dog carrier. I am a fan of the 'EveryYay!" while standing for second and trying to figure out which size would fit my clients dog best, an associate approached and was very helpful. I dont think I needed the help but the welcoming energy and genuine concern and care for the customer was nice.Great Job Petco!!In the famous words of Ahnuld "I'll be back"

The staff is very friendly and helpful I also got my dogs groomed there as well. Check out this anenome they had when I was there its huge. That's my do max after his groom. I have another one I need to put up with his mohawk.

This store is easy to get to and parking is quick and easy. The staff are friendly. I see many dog groups or classes and it’s fun to see the dogs. There are many common brands available for food, treats, supplies. I gave a lower rating because no matter when I go the line to check out is always 5+ people and it goes very slow. There are multiple check lines but for some reason it takes forever!

I was in shopping at your store today 06/02/2022. I had called before and spoken with Angel he is always very professional and knowledgeable about the store. He informed me that you did have what supplies I needed. I drove to your store and purchased what I needed and was getting ready to leave and the shopping experience was so easy I asked him about several other items I felt that he was so helpful he wouldn't mind answering my questions. I ended up purchasing several more items and spending much more than I had planned. It was an excellent shopping experience with wonderful customer service.I can honestly say Angel is a fantastic employee, being that I was a customer service manager for more than 20 yrs. You are very lucky to have an employee with his work ethic.

Was in here earlier today to pick up my pup from the groomer, and there was a couple with a German Shepard standing directly in front of the entrance smoking. My pup is young and still learning how to act around other dogs so I waited around to see if they'd move. They didn't. I managed to get past them to the car without incident, but when I asked them to move away from the door the husband got very upset and combative. I went back into the store to speak to someone about asking them to move, for their pups safety as well as others, and was completely ignored and disregarded. I understand the store is understaffed, and that the employees are probably overwhelmed but this was a safety issue and there was zero concern shown.

I booked my appointment in advance and notified them that my dog has had a seizure before and they said it was okay. Just got to my appointment and was told they won't bathe my dog. It would have been great to be told in advance that they dont takr dogs with a history of seizures! Please spread this information to all employees so customers don't waste time waiting for an appointment so our dogs can be taken somewhere else. Very disappointing.

Had a great experience on Monday. It was my puppy's bday and I took her in to get some toys and see if someone could attach some bows to her ears, since I had no clue how to do it..The staff was amazing. She came out and took over and attached those bows like a pro...saved the day...Another rep came out to see my puppy and asked what the special occasion was. I explained and she said that because it was a bday, the oupy could get a free pound of treats..Wow, what an incredible experience..That's why I go there...not only for the food and toys but for the grooming! Thanks Petco!

Kiya's grooming appointment went well. They need to have a receptionist in the grooming department. The groomers can't do their jobs if they are constantly running out front to check pets in and out.
