The store is absolutely filthy. I can't imagine them keeping live animals here.I've been in here before, and the floors were spotless. It's probably hard to see but these floors obviously haven't been cleaned in a while.

Found an adorable lap kitty and her brother to bring home. This is the second time we've visited in the last year to find forever friends to invite into our home. The staff was helpful in answering our questions since it's been 12 years since we last fostered kittens. The process to adopt was simple and just took a little time...be patient! 😁

Really strange and rude interaction with the employees today.One of the girls had greenish black hair with piercings and the other one a black bob with maybe some purple.I usually love coming in here to look at the animals available but today was not the case.I was standing looking at one of the available dogs and one of the employees sitting in the corner of the room yelled “Ma’am!” “Ma’am”! I turned to her and she yelled at me “Are you okay?” In a very condescending tone. I just started at her and was like…. Yeah? I’m fine?After that she just kept staring at me.It’s hard to explain, but it was super weird. My husband with me was weirded out by it as well.

Small space, but they make the most of it. They really care about what they're doing there and it shows. Really great customer service, answered eight billion questions for me. And if you need a sweet Shepherd/Lab pup, go ask about Poncho! 💞

What happened to the PAWSH store the last few weeks? The store has an odor and some of the dog bowls are filthy, not to mention litter boxes. I also noticed they aren't selling the same items any longer. I used to buy my dog treats that I couldn't find at Petsmart or Petco. I can save a whole lot of time going to one of those big stores. Very disappointed in the changes.

I have been here a couple times and always had a great experience. This last time I went had a puppy that I had rescued and had my big dog with. Unfortunately he was throwing a tantrum so I couldn't take him in but with the heat not wanting to leave him in the car. The manager came out and calmed him down gave him some treats and sat outside with him long enough for me to go in there and get a harness and other things that I needed for the new puppy and a tag which took me about 20 minutes and he gave me suggestions and resources that I could use because I've never had a husky. Of course everybody inside is always amazing I will always continue to visit this place.

I went in with my friend and asked about fostering. We saw a dog we would’ve loved to foster and asked to go in and see him and was told we can only go in if we want to adopt. We are in the military and our leadership made a rule that we cannot adopt, we can only foster animals. So that was our only option. Then, the dog we were looking at got sick and a girl with pink hair went in to clean it. When someone else pointed out to her that she didn’t get it all, she caught attitude like this was such an inconvenience to her. None of the staff here was very friendly. I would think if you have people asking about fostering animals, you might allow them to go in and see the animals, but I guess not.

This place is always super clean. They have a nice selection of accessories and snacks for your fur babies. You can even get a bday cake mix. I adopted from here as well and the process was easy and quick. Susan is best. She is so nice and friendly all.the time. Thanks PAWSH : )

Came in looking for an adult cat needing a home. Not welcoming AT all. Only quickly snapped at when we apparently broke a rule that we weren’t made aware of ahead of time nor were there signs about the rules. Turned right back around and walked out.

We adopted a little kitten here and had a great experience. The people there are wonderful they are available for questions and help with the animals when you need them but they don't hover over you nor do they get super pushy. The whole process was fast, less then 30 minutes, and we were able to take the little kitty home the same day. This is a great place to adopt a pet.

Amazing! Only six people were allowed inside at a time, but I found that fair. With both Covid and the fact that too many people could stress out the animals. I hope all of the animals there go to good homes with lots of love!

Amazing furry place! Where you can find your sweet best friend, daughter or son or all. They also have everything you need and more to help you with your adoption process. I got my sweet daughter today and she has became a incredibly comfort animal.

Tiny place but the staff is really friendly. They didn't have a dog that would be a good match for our family but they let my son play with one of their own dogs, as an introduction to dogs. Very nice of them

Not the best experience. We were not told the truth about the dogs health. They stated the dog had been treatef for kennel cough but he was still sick and got our other dogs sick as well. Long story short after 800 dollars for medications and vet visits everyone was healthy again. Lost a lot of faith in this group. My advice is be aware, they tend to lie.

Great place to find a rescue pet, animals seem to have room and good play areas. Employees are attentive to gates and people handling animals, very polite but also explain well and mind the comfort of the animals in play areas and handling areas. Animals seem happy and with good disposition, playful.

I will start with a positive - the Humane Society at 3450 N Kelvin Blvd is run very well. PAWSH is lacking what that site has. On June 18, I visited PAWSH, where people can go into a room unsupervised where there are 2 or 3 cats before they are told anything about the cats. The cat that I picked up was not caged, and I was worried about it running out of the room (and the site - because the room is close to the door) when I entered and exited. In addition, I was nearly bitten by this cat. People that are interested in adopting should be required to talk with one of the Humane Society volunteers before they are allowed to touch the animals. At the Kelvin Blvd site, there is a much more organized process.

Knowing the items you purchase go towards a good cause is great. Seeing the kittens and pups needing a home instead of watching it on tv makes the message hit home. I would have loved to adopt another fur baby so I bought something and made a small donation to help the cause

Great place to pick up goodies for your fur babies or to adopt a new fur baby. They always have cats/kittens and dogs/puppies up for adoption and sometimes bunnies and other pocket pets. Stop in and say hi and check out the selection of collars leashes and toys they have, the proceeds go to the pets in their care.

Adopt! Don't pay big bucks for purebreds. The homeless, abandoned pets are the best. The only kind we've had and will continue to get. This small humane society store has a lot of necessities to get you started in pet ownership and not only young animals but older pets whose owners can no longer care for them. Please consider adoption!

So I came in to look at the cats and I was petting one . This guy approached us and w a very rude Tone told us to put hand sanitizer on after petting each of the cats. I nodded my head and told him okay multiple times and then he kicked us out ?? Most of the staff are very nice but he was very rude .
