We are snow birds from MN. We have a Papillon, and a chihuahua cross. We used old town groomer last season once before we returned to MN. The actual grooming is just fine the staff was rude and very off puttingWe gave them a chance and returned again this week, the grooming was just great but the staff and service crabby and act as though they want to be anywhere but there. !We owned and operated an ACE store for 40 yrs so we know customer service and this store needs a lesson in customer service, I wonder who they think pays them??

This review is in response to Julene Lind who posted 2 months ago. We have been taking our fur baby here for years for grooming and boarding. I am very picky about who I trust and I cannot believe your post about the poor customer service. Honestly, this is a great place with loving and caring people who ensure your pets are well taken care of. Your entitled to your opinion as am I and I vote Old Town Horse and Pet is among the best and does not deserve to have its name run in the mud.

Absolutely great groomers, and good people all around. I have been taking my bichon frises for approximately five years to this location. They have always done a great job with her. They treat her like she is a part of the family. The owner and the staff are extremely friendly and you can see the passion for their job and your pets. They are easy to work with and very accommodating to your schedule. They get your dog in and out and make them look fantastic. As if they were ready for a show.They also have a very cute boutique like retail space. Everything from specialize foods, doggy treats, and doggy toys. They have leashes and the customize colors that you can get there also. On the same lot they also have their feed store where you could get all of the essentials for your livestock.Barbara and Cecelia are amazing groomers. I recommend them for any type of dog, I am sure you and your pet won't be disappointed.08/13/19Went in for Tiffany's follow up, clean up. They have a great service where you can go 30 days later from the grooming appointment and they will do a follow up appointment, they will either wash your dogs and clean them up really nice or they will fluff them up for you. Love this place! My mutts are small, old and delicate. I am an old fuss-budget about them too. I have never been disappointed and today they came out of their spa session sporting the cutest necktie on Detour and big bow on Delilah.... both the trims are adjustable, adorable and adorned with skull and crossbones in honor of the season. One can also get the propane tanks in the motorhome and all the tanks for the house grills and fireplaces topped off while you wait. Just the best feed and pet store around! Highly recommend.

Our girl is not used to being groomed, but this seemed to be a really great experience. The staff was so kind and sweet to her. Her cut and bath came out wonderful. I would highly recommend this place.

We took our dog to Old Town Feed for grooming and she came back a different puppy. She is super soft and she smells so clean. My husband dropped off/picked up our dog and didn't get the groomer's name but she is amazing. Thank you for taking good care of our puppy girl. We will be back!

I was new to living on this side of town again from Green Valley and had to find a new groomer for my Stryker. Old Town Horse and Pet is right down the street so I decided to give them a chance. I am very picky about the care of my dogs, after all they are my family. Stryker suffers from anxiety so leaving him in a strange place without a familiar face wasn't easy. Turns out he had a great time flirting with the lady groomers and came home shiny and beautiful. He's a handsome fella. Thank you Old Town Horse & Pet! I'll be contacting you today to set another appointment :)

I liked this business, until they lied and insulted my dog. We have been good, consistent and high-spending customers for years. Our dog has been groomed for years as well. I set an appointment for my dog to be groomed a few weeks ago. Today I called to make sure his appointment was still on. When I called the person who answered said they would still take him even though they weren't supposed to take him for any appointments, because of his behavior. In all the years he has been there, the only mention of his behavior was that he loved them at times and was fiesty. Never did they tell me he was difficult enough to not be welcome. In fact, the conversation was always pleasant as they charged my card. Today, they lied saying they always are direct with their customers. They insulted me with what they said about my dog. I know we are only one family, but they lost our business. The owner could only say she was sorry I felt that way, but never apologized for their actions or even offered to correct them. If you patronize this business, make sure you can read between their lines when they talk about your pet.

I had a medical emergency where I need unplanned boarding. They were amazing! Old Town staff was my pup's only outside experience his first year, for nails and teeth. Leaving him for a week broke my heart but I was able to know he was safe and cared for while I was in hospital and when I called,they were compassionate and caring. Best of all, he had the grooming package and came back sleek, clean and happy and as brilliantly bubbly as ever, after a traumatic experience. Every ounce of me thanks each and every staff member!

Called there this morning April 18th. The lady answering the phone today was completely rude and condescending. Called to ask about some chicks and she quickly responded with a nasty voice you can't get those and you can't find those. My husband and I have an appointment for another hatchery and they have the checks we are looking for we are just trying to get a range of what was to offer. The fact that the lady answering the phone was so rude and Quick to respond that you guys don't have them I can't see how you're in business. We have never been customers of yours and I am thankful for that now. I will make sure everybody that I know who has livestock will not go to you there are many places with friendly customer Relations.

Beautiful property, clean and organized store. Gentleman out front was very friendly, helped me find my way to the entrance as this was the first time I've visited the store.I'm not sure what was going on with the lady up front but she wasn't particularly welcoming or friendly. We briefly discussed minimum chick purchases and then I left. Based on that experience alone, I probably won't return.If you're looking for chicks and/or ducklings but are looking for a more friendly or welcoming experience, some places that I've gotten them over the years are Tractor Supply (Valencia), Tractor Supply (Casa Grande), Arizona Feeds Country Store, and Ace Hardware (St. Marys). Minimums typically apply (and they may be low or out of stock), but it's not always the case, so it's best to call ahead based on your needs.

Ive been taking my dog here since I rescued her a year and a half ago. The first place I took her to could not handle the level of anxiety she had. I took her to Old Town and they were great with her. She now runs right in and is excited to be there and always looks great when I pick her up. I recommend this place every chance I get. The ladies there do such a great job and you can tell they love what they do my the way they treat all the dogs that go in there.

We work with Old Town Horse and Pet for our ranch and for our family pets. We buy lots of hay, bird seed, dog food, duck food and more. The boarding and grooming are great! Since I was a kid I've always loved feed stores, and I still do. Taking a peek at the chicks, checking out the saddles, visiting with the dogs ~ and catching up with the Ferris family makes errands good fun! Thank you for running a great local business!

Took my dog in there to get groomed.i was happy about the price and the service.Ladies there are nice.I can tell they took care of my dog,he had no signs of crying or discomfort, unlike when I pick him up from PetSmart.this place is local, and affordable.My to go place for sure.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Our German Shepard was shedding so much but after a deshedding treatment our floors are finally staying clean and hair free. It has been almost 4 weeks! Highly recommended.Also, our dog Max was looking extra handsome and happy.

This was my first experience EVER using a boarding facility, and I was EXTREMELY pleased!!!!! I have always been hesitant because our little dog is diabetic and I feared no one would care for her like I can. Boy, was I wrong !! They did an awesome job. Both the indoor & outdoor areas were spotless and the entire staff was so very friendly. Brad, the owner, knew of my concern, and he sent me a message & picture of my dog, assuring me all was well- It was exactly what I needed!!!! I HIGHLY recommend Old Town Feed Supply !!!!!!!!!!!

My family and I have been going to see Brad and his crew for many years. Old Town has always been stellar in terms of service and knowledge when we have had questions about our ventures in our little livestock adventures we have. Brad and his team are always polite, willing to help and genuinely care for their customers. Recently they have been great with me as I'm navigating more of my families feed runs by holding my bales for a neighbor to pick up for me or even bringing a small amount out (an amount much less than they normally deliver for). I appreciate our conversations and look forward to being a patron for many more years to come!

Wonderful warm and fun people who take care of our fur kid Ducati. he was so tuckered after 5 days, it made us feel like he was well taken care of. His bath & Nails were spot on and Ducati is a huge ham for a smaller dog. The whole feed store and our recent boarding is a huge 10 and I referred my boss Steve Martin & his girl Sierra to enjoy the same greatness as us. Thank you to all the staff for your warmth and family feel we are greeted with. Oh and I better not forget the many years we keep going back for our chickens always a pleasure to go and see all the new items and pick up all the old items year after year.. good thing is is that inever hear we don't carry that item any longer not here, they are a great working family business . Well have to send some photos of the smoked meats from the smoker we bought for ourselves there love to see my hubby so happy as he rushes into the house with his ribs, chicken and most recently tri tip...THANKS EVERYONE. They take good care of my mini poodle. She lies it there. She gets excited to go in. The price went up $5, so I've had to cut down from every 6 weeks to now going every 8 weeks. Price seems a liitle extravagant for how well behaved she is . Not happy with the price increase at all.

Brad and Jenny are some of the most amazing people we know. We only know them on a business level but they are people we would consider family. Jenny always takes care of our dogs grooming wise and Brad is just a stand up human being. Always greets people and stops what he is doing to make sure you are good. Their employees model after them.
