The park is nice and we have fun with lots of other small for buddies. The dog areas could use some more shade, especially as we get to the beginning of the real heat. There is lots of grass and lots of play areas with grass, just not in a leash free area. The location alone is wonderful and souls be on your list of options!

I like that the park is split, big dogs (+30 lbs) to the left and little dogs (-30 lbs) to the right. They are closed for cleaning on Wednesday, 10am - Noon. They also put out fresh, clean tennis balls every week.It is up to the pet people to keep an eye on their dogs and be a responsible parent. Aggressive dogs will be asked to leave. This is a safe place to let the dogs be dogs. My dogs LOVE this park so much, they start getting excited as soon as I turn off Country Club. There is plenty of shade, plenty of scoops and trash cans. Please clean up after your dog. There is a water fountain for the dogs so no one goes thirsty. There is very little grass and a whole lot of dirt. So wait until after the park to give your dog a bath.Make sure your dog is up to date on their shots, especially Bordetella.Dog-friendliness: It's all about the dogs!

Great place to bring your dog, especially in the evenings. If your dog can be social and independent, it's a great place to bring your laptop and get some work done. Do not roll in the dirt.

It’s a pretty decent park. There’s a large area for big dogs as well as another for smaller ones. My little guy loves running around chasing other doggos. There’s a water fountain for them (I’d recommend you bring your own water bowl for hygienic reasons). The only thing I’d like to see added is grass. The ground is dusty dirt that will be sure to make your dog dirty, and it will be especially noticeable if you have a white dog like mine. Overall, it’s a decent place.

Great dog park. Been coming here for years. Unfortunately there is a woman who is there nearly every weekend morning who brings two aggressive German shepherds. They have attacked my dog unprovoked twice, I have witnessed them attack other dogs just for walking near them. The woman explained that once they assert dominance and get it out of their system they are usually fine. She couldn’t care less about other dogs being attacked. Watch out if she is there especially if you have a younger dog.

Great place! Clean and well maintained.I was surprised at the absence of poop pickup bags and the consequent smelly trash cans. Don’t know if this was the exception or the rule.

My dog loves to go here and play. She’s super friendly and she has a great time. Most of the people there are very nice and pleasant. However Sharon find it appropriate to allow their dogs to jump on other dogs and do nothing in return. Not a good idea

Great, well maintained dog park. Centrally located, so you get a wide variety of pets. Actually, the pets owners seem to be as friendly as the animals. Lots of owners have been attending for years.

My dog loves this place. My only concern is that restrooms aren't closer to dog park.

Heavily used dog park, the urine stench at the gate is overwhelming. The larger dog enclosure is pretty barren (very little cover except for the large gazebo in the center, and it's all bare dirt/gravel. The small dog enclosure is better, with some trees and a patch of grass. On the plus side, this is on the edge of Randolph Park, so there is a lot to explore if you want to walk around... in fact, my dog goes nuts from the smells emanating from the zoo :)

Lighted and always safe at night. I can only speak for the late night visitors (~7:30-10pm), but for the most part people only bring friendly dogs that play well with others. PLENTY of room to toss a ball or frisbee around with your doggo.

A lot of dogs, some are a bit frisky. It's a decent experience just have to keep an eye on your little ones.

There is a large and a small dog side. Great size, and completely fenced. There are 2 water stations, several trash cans, and a covered cabana with picnic tables. There's lighting for those late evening play times, and plenty of parking. My pups are always excited to go and meet new friends.

We have tried it a few times with a non aggressive dog. Because of several situations that arose. We won't be back.

Fun dog park located in Reid Park. Friendly people who work together to keep the park clean for their four footed babies,!

Dog park was pretty nice though some maintenance definitely needed. Mostly dirt but a very decent amount of shade.Maintenance seems to be a pretty common theme for all public parks, whether for four legged family or two. Water fountain working for dogs but not for people. One gate latch broken, on the entrance we used, etc. Nothing major though.Other people were friendly and paying attention to their dogs.I'm sure we'll be back. Thanks Tucson Parks and Rec.

I have been going to the large dog side of Miko's Corner for about a year now. The dog park is large and can be nice to walk around. Sometimes the paths can get a bit dusty and slippery. The dog park is mostly clean and most owners clean up after their dogs, but more and more frequently I have accidentally stepped in more piles that owners don't pick up.Most people are very nice and their dogs friendly. However I find it very hard to like this park more, as there is a regular (possibly they go everyday in the mornings?) whose dog can be very aggressive against other dogs and exhibits fence aggression. At one point in time and on several different trips, this short, brown dog, Lemar, would target and chase my dog who would yelp and scream. Eventually I managed to set boundaries for my dog, but the owner finds nothing wrong with his dog's behavior and justifies it as "just playing." Lemar will in fact stalk particular dogs and chase them down, snarling and snapping. Today, I witnessed this dog attack three dogs and make one bleed, but still the owner did not leave or take responsibility for any of their dog's actions, claiming, "Dogs are dogs."Other regulars to the park found no issue with Lemar's behavior and even defended it, which I found disturbing.Basically whenever Lemar goes after another dog, their owner will call him back, acting as a reinforcement of the behavior, this really being the only interaction with their dog once they go into the park. (Dog ignored by owner. Dog causes trouble. Owner calls to him. Repeat.) As an aside, I have also never seen this owner clean up after his dog or really leave the shaded area once they arrive. In all, as long as Lemar is in the park, I can't recommend new people bring their younger dogs, since it seems that Lemar picks on and bullies the dogs who do not yet know how to assert themselves. Especially after today's fights, which happened almost immediately after Lemar arrived, and witnessing how the owner failed to be a responsible owner, as well as other regulars defending this dog's behavior, it is very dangerous to have your own dogs around Lemar.Since it does not seem that Lemar's owner will stop bringing their dog any time soon, it is safest to just not frequent this park or to go when this dog is not present. (Can be identified as a very dense, low to the ground male dog. Erect ears and short brown coat. Waddling gait.)

A great dog park that's split between Small and Large (this one specifies over 30lbs) dogs. Most of the owners I've met there are extremely responsible and responsive to their pets. Plenty of trash cans and scoopers/rakes to clean up after your dog as well as water fountains for you and your best friend! It's a park that's just dirt, a bit of cement for walkways, and a huge seating area that's shaded. There's a few other benches that are along the outer ring (obviously the large breed side has more as it's larger than the small breed section) located close to water access. Just be sure to keep a VISIBLE leash around you or on you as that's one of the biggest rules, clean up after your furry pal, and discourage poor behavior IMMEDIATELY. The owners that go frequently seem to be great friends and everyone I've had interactions with are extremely friendly. If you're not a people person, no issues as again plenty of space to be off on your own while your pup plays! Will hopefully take photos next time for first timers or those that are from out of state planning to visit :) Hope this review helps.

This dog park is wonderful. The people are friendly and fun to interact with and the dogs are awesome. My dogs love to play there and always seem to Have a good time. The park is clean and free from trash and unwanted debris.Keep up the good work. My dogs will be coming back to the park at least 4 times or more watch week. Thank you parks and rec for keeping the park enjoyable for people and their pets.

While there areas for both large and small dogs, my review is in regards to the small dog side. I frequent another dog park twice a day, everyday. It's fantastic, has very nice landscaping areas to sit, along with plenty of shade for the dogs and people. This dog park is a dirty vacant lot. There's trash and rubbish all around the perimeter. The only benefit to this park is that it's a place for dogs to socialize. I will never go back, unless it's to park then walk around the Ried Park with my doggo.

Smaller dogs are separated from larger dogs which makes me feel much more comfortable letting the puppies run free.

Great dog park. Two sections , one for small dogs. Lots of dogs. Tables and benches in the shade. Sand, no grass, but sand is better than dirt which is dusty and turns to mud when wet. My dogs loved it ! This is our favorite dog park near downtown Tucson.

2 dog parks, right next to each other. One for small dogs, one for larger. This is one of the sadder dog parks I have been to. Nothing but loose dirt, not very well maintained. Dog poo from irresponsible owners everywhere, tons of dust in the air (had my wife, myself, and both of my dogs sneezing). Water fountain for the dogs was seemingly stuck and overflowing, causing a muddy mess. Its fine to get your dog some exercise but could really use some love.
