Fantastic selection! There are some really good prices on a huge amount of the items offered here for purchase. Groceries included fresh produce, boxed, canned, bottled, bagged, candy, soda, pantry staples, refrigerated, and frozen. There are way more than just groceries here. They also have cleaning products, kitchen misc, personal, hygiene, office supplies, pharmacy items, etc.

McGary's is the best! It's a salvage grocery and more store. So many great deals on food, cleaning products, health & beauty products, toys, everything! The owners and employees are the nicest people and really serve this community in providing an affordable place to shop. I can't say enough good about this store.

I like some of the deals. I'm still choosy about what I will buy here because some foods have an off flavor if they are old but there is good stuff to be found here for sure. Employees are nice. Carts all kinda suck but I can live with it. It's clean and decently organized. I'm happy McGarys is around and I'll visit again.

I save so much money here and find soooo many things I don't usually in the grocery store. Love the staff, they're so nice! Clean, quiet and a lovely place to shop.

Not impressed. I went in to pick up a couple of things and I did not see any real bargains. Maybe on the low side but they really didn’t have a selection of decent bread or chips. The people that work there are very nice. Compared to Grocery Outlets in CA and OR, or Green Trees Grocery outlet in Yuma, no. It isn’t worth getting off the freeway to visit.

If you like snack food, this might be a great place to check. I found their prices to be about the same as sale prices at regular stores. Many of their products are at or past the "Best of used by:" dates but are still safe to eat.

They do have low prices on a variety of items, but its because items are outdated. They don't allow service animals, yet still inquired about the specifics of the disability. They treat all customers as if they are there to shoplift instead of just addressing shoplifting with individuals who actually take items without paying.

I don't know what that lady's name is at the cashier, but she is rude as all hell! Every time I have been in there, two times, she's rude, no personality what so ever and will not hand the receipt. I'm surprised she puts your things in a bag! I asked her if I could return something if it didn't fit, and she said, "As long as I have the receipt." I brought them back the next day, and she said, "You can only get store credit, not your money back." I said, that's not what you said yesterday, she said, well, I left that part out!!!! She ruins everything about that store! Horrible customer service with the cashier that won't even hand you the receipt, but she'll point it out and say you can get it yourself. What a piece of...work!

McGary’s is the best for snacks and sodas. They also have specialty grocery items at a huge discount, vitamins and personal care products. It is impressive how often they get new items in. Some of our favorites are 2 x $5 café bustelo bricks, lindt truffles at 2 x $3, mini coke cans at 4 x $1. There has never been anything that has tasted stale. The lady at the front who is cashier on the weekends is really sweet too!

I was greeted friendly by the staff when I entered, and right away, found what I was looking for - beef jerky! I only had time for some light shopping so I'll have to go back on another trip. They had some really nice coffees and other drinks. I ended up buying some protein bars and I'm glad I did they're good. I followed them on Facebook and that's how I learned that they had some beef jerky that just came in. The store was clean and well stocked as usual, and there were some things that I wanted to look at but I didn't have time. I like the place and I recommend it. Beef jerky time!

I really like McGary's, but you have to know what's a good deal and what isn't. I like it for snacks for my kids and coffee pods, but not so much for home staples like bread, mayo, etc. I also had a bad experience with their cereal so I won't buy that again.

I bought items here and had concerns with some of the expiration dates.. I understand it's a time frame but when it's clearly effecting the quality of food it should be of concern. I sent my boyfriend to ask to exchange some items for at least closer to date items. Long story short he was told not return to the store after being allowed to swap the items. Is it store policies telling him not to return or some type of power trip?

I've been here a couple times, staff is friendly, store is great, pricing is awesome, but about a week ago we visited and shortly after we walked in security who surely thought they were a higher power started arguing with a customer. Extremely unprofessional and it very well could have escalated I had my toddler son with me which really made me uneasy considering all the madness in the world. Security still went on with the guy and his wife as they were walking in the parking lot. The whole situation and lack of professionalism really impacted my decision to shop there anymore I know my business will probably have 0 impact on them but I'd rather pay full price than to see that happen again.

I was impressed with the lady at the register. She was super friendly. I was impressed with some of the prices but not everything was a good deal and a few of the expired products (On the border chips)tasted a bit rancid. I will go back for some items but not others.

Our initial impression was it reminded us of a store we would frequent in Reno called Grocery Outlet. We truly did enjoy the change of atmosphere in your music choice as a fresh change to other stores, prices of products were exactly as expected and appreciated.Once we got to check out, one of your security guards was having a conversation next to your check-out counter and mentioned how proud he was to have someone on your property be asked to leave, and responded with attitude, then spit on him. He then proceeded to brag how he ripped the person's backpack off them, kick them a few times, and he ran off property like a little girl to a prospective hands on security trying to recruit the the property. My wife/business partner and I found the conversation extremely distasteful, disrespectful to be heard in the public view of your customers. The cashier quietly asked us to "just ignore them," letting me know she was very uncomfortable with the entire situation and seemed fearful to say anything in response. I respectfully asked them to take their conversation behind closed doors, or away from the ears shot of the front end of your store. Then the two other security guards who didn't even work for you, or your company demanded I calm down, and that maybe I should leave before the called the cops. My wife spoke up letting them know to please call the cops, and she would explain to Tucson Police what happened and my request was rudely rejected by all the security guards. After at least 3 requests by me for them to please go somewhere else so your customers would not have to listen to thier vulgar, disrespectful, and extremely unprofessional conversation somewhere else, you security guard demanded I leave the store. I stated to him I would not leave until our transaction was complete, since I did nothing wrong.Long story short, this exactly the discount store we where looking for, but the blaten disrespect and disregard for human decency did nothing but scare other customers and staff present. I certainly hope the owners fix this problem and work with the local population to not feel as though they will get beaten if the look like they may be in the improper class, or say something wrong to the right person there, so they can run off property like a little girl!

Found this great grocery store by accident last Halloween when I was driving down Grant road and Oracle form Sunday church. I was headed to a another store but decided to turn around and check it. The staff and security personnel are great and friendly and when I ask a question or or for anything in the store they help out. Been going there for about a year now and I find groceries and drinks at great prices and some things that they don't sell in a regular store little treasures. Sometimes you have to dig in the Ben's and look at the shelf for things but it's worth in the long run. The staff and security like a said are wonderful and keep am eye on you and people who try to be to cause problems they are on it so don't mess around with then. But I do like the place and bargains. Also be warned if you see something on the self you better get it if you go back and it's gone your out of luck. And the have clothes ,hair products and regular items for the house and kitchen and bathroom and school supplies. Holiday item's and the little thing's you find in the store.
