In all our travels we've never seen such a large green house and so much variety including Venus Fly Traps. Plus not to forget all the fine gift ideas & large variety of Pots. You could spend a whole day here. We believe the grounds covers 13 acres!

Wow this place is huge! Love ❤️ love the cacti section and the salesman Greg was so helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. It was refreshing to see an employee that loves ❤️ cacti and loves enjoying what he does. He truly shines! Wish more employees made you feel like he does.

No pictures can truly capture how absolutely massive this complex of cactus sales is. There must be several acres of cacti and fine pottery for sale. The staff were knowledgeable, the prices were fair, and the cacti were beautiful. We'll be back.

Awesome place for plants... we were looking for several specific plants and Jonathon was kind enough to drive us around to find them. I hadn't been in quite a while and there was so much to choose from. They seemed very well organized since their remodel.

Great large spot for your cactus needs, I picked up several types, the biggest being Argentinian Saguaro, a little pup for $50. Andrew (I think his name was) was very helpful and showed me selections I was looking for.

Green Things has been our long-time go-to for general plant needs. Great stock throughout the year that's usually well organized. Their listed hours on both google and their website are suspect, though; I've never successfully shopped here before 8am. I've had to stop by early a few times, and it's always been the same: I load up a cart, walk around for ~20min peeking into half opened buildings trying to find an open cashier without seeing a single employee, and eventually drive away with the intention to come back later in the day. We love to shop here whenever we can, but they consistently appear closed in the early mornings. Great place with knowledgeable staff, I just wish I could leave the money under a rock sometimes though lol

As a long-time Mesquite customer, I decided to try out Green Things for the lower prices. What happened this Morning was bizarrely disappointing. As I walked into the cashier area, a Manager with a rather severe napoleon complex was barking commands at a visibly uncomfortable and fearful staff. He then proceeded to make fun of me in front of everyone for pronouncing Azomite incorrectly. I am new to succulents and still learning, so my most sincere apologies for not having my PhD in Horticulture. He also did not appear to know that Azomite is made of volcanic ash when he replied - dripping with sarcasm - 'No, I don't have *volcanic ash*' They do carry Azomite, but I had to take more time out of my busy day to wait through his weird little mind game in order to get it.Additionally, no help was offered to carry a bag of heavy soil. On the long, back-breaking walk to my car, I noticed that most of the outdoor plants for sale looked dirty and unkept, like they were poached from the Desert.I should have just walked out as soon as Lord Farquaad started his meriod tantrum over the mispronounced word, but I was in a time crunch. Needless to say, we're gonna pass up Green Dictatorship for now on and stay with Mesquite as they are highly recommended for their customer service, professionalism, better quality plants and knowledgeable staff. Furthermore, it looks like the winner for our big upcoming landscape project is also going to be Mesquite :)

One of the best nurseries in Tucson, with a huge selection of varied plant types. Do not miss an outstanding gift stores, spread across five different buildings! -- Anything from Mexican furniture to small cute souvenirs. Ample parking, including an overflow parking lot. All the pottery in the world that you can think of!!!

Pretty frustrating when it says that it opens at 7 during the week but the majority of the areas aren’t open until 8:30? This needs to be better posted on the property. None of the employees bothered to stop and inform me.

I purchased it ash tree last year didn’t make it one year and it died. Came back to let them know no refunds no credit nothing they don’t honor anything. Terrible customer service. Wouldn’t recommend buying anything from there. This was $300 tree down the drain. Home Depot and Lowe’s. At least they honor.

This place has really changed a lot over the years. And for the best. The selection of plants here is second to none. The indoor selection is just as diverse as the outdoor. The help is hit and miss but if you take your time to look around you can usually find what your looking for and if you keep asking for help you eventually find someone that can help you out. Also, if you look around back you can find some great deals on plant pots.

22SEP2022: Fairly new to the area, patronaged Green Things seeking a dwarf Mexican Lime tree. Fortunately, we came across Jessica who took us straight to the section. While walking, I shared that we had an unfinished lot in Tucson and Jessica politely explained the layout of the nursery and resident expertise at Green Things to meet our future requirements. She then assisted us in selecting the perfect plant, citrus soil and navigated us through the checkout process quickly and efficiently. It was like having our own personal shopper, a true VIP experience. The nursery is well laid out, and while nurseries are a competitive industry in Tucson – Green Things clearly recognizes the value of that front end customer interface. Jessica / Green Things, as Arnold would say – “I will be back”.

I was impressed by all the plants. They had no pecan though. Said they didn't stock that. So I got almond. They also had walnut.

Since composting/vermi-composting has become so popular over the last few years.. I have to write a review about their coco coir.Started a worm bin and everybodyyyy recommends buying blocks on Amazon. Just as I was about to pull the trigger for $25 which included two bricks.. I saw Green Things was open on Sundays and I KNEW they’d have them.Well.. asked the cashier way in the back (who was VERY sweet by the way!) if they had some. He brings me right over to it and when I asked how much the GIANT bricks were.. I was shocked when he said $15 lolol. I made him repeat it because I thought he said $50 🤣I’ve been looking for weeks for a good deal on them and just had a feeling they were cheaper somewhere locally. Sure enough!!!I recommend everyone starts a worm bin ♥️ And you should definitelyyyy make Green Things your first stop for supplies!!! Everything else you can pretty much get from your home (boxes, coffee grounds, veggie scraps, etc.) and Inch by Inch not too far has wormies.10/10 recommend Green Things! Never once regretted a single product I’ve ever gotten from them. Just sad that I used to live right next door and moved across town 😭 I’ll just make sure to buy in bulk from now on because you can beat their quality and cost! Thanks guys!!!

Amazing diversity of plants and vast selection. A little overpriced on their pots so I decided against purchasing any for myself. The one on the left in the photo was purchased there by my mother prior to my visit... but I got these two very healthy succulents for under $9.00. The most impressive nursery I've ever been to.

This may seem like your typical "greenery" or "green house", but there is a TON to look at. I enjoyed walking around Green Things seeing butterflies floating around while I was learning the different types of cacti that encompasses the dry land. I am from Missouri and enjoyed walking around and learning about all of the cool plants in the area!

What a great first visit! We arrived with an idea of what we wanted for a project, met Ashley as we stepped out of the car and left with everything we needed. Her expertise with plants and knowledge of the stock were topped only by her super golf cart driving skills.

Found selection of plants to be outstanding! Customer service lacking, though it may be just the two employees I asked questions of. Bought one plant and went to small plant nursery for plant fertilizer specific to my needs.I have since returned and found employees near the east entrance very helpful. They helped find pots and supplies. I am amending my rating accordingly.

Wow what a fabulous place to explore. This was my second visit. So many beautiful pots and yard art and cacti here that I came back to wander more. They have a huge range from a 2” cacti to enormous landscape plants fitting of commercial settings. The staff I encountered were helpful and friendly. I will return to explore more in this vast nursery!
