Just went in the store and bought a good amount of merchandise. Walked up to the cashier named Monica to ask for assistance she Immediately waves her hand and shushes me and tells me no and to go self check out. The way she did was so Humiliating it was unbelievable. I spend to much money in Dollar tree to be treated like this from employees when asking for assistance. This is not the first time either. I came in a few months ago and ask Monica for help to find Pencil sharpeners Her answer was if I don't see it. It's not here. Thanks again for no assistance. I'm trying to find a way to contact corporate because this is getting out of hand.

Dear Dollar Store self checkout.You are heading towards almost exclusively self-checkout now.I didn't choose to participate in that nonsense, I had already🛒filled my cart🛒emptied my cart🛒scanned the items🛒refilled my cartYou can put your cashiers back in place like it used to be.• I'm not interested in proving that I did your job for you.• If you want me to be a cashier with no training then that's your problem not mine.• Keep employing young people and give them job opportunities.YOU DON'T PAY ME TO SCAN MY OWN SHOPPING.YOU DON’T GIVE ME STAFF DISCOUNT FOR WORKING FOR YOU.These are jobs that are needed to have for young and old …..The last time I was in this particular dollar store, the two self checkouts were not accepting credit cards so we all moved over to the one cashier.She called for help. A young man came out & loudly said to all of us in line, use the self checkouts and left. He did not talk to the cashier to learn why no one was using the self checkouts.A number of us dropped our purchases on the self checkouts and left. I’ll not go back. There are other stores in the area to shop.

I haven't been in Dollar Tree in soooo long and loved how clean, spacious and easy it was to find everything I wanted !! Great bargains and selection !! 👍👍😃😃

I shopped there one time and will not be back. An employee by the name of Monica was extremely rude and unprofessional. I actually witnessed her speaking very rudely with a coworker which no one should have to see that. I had difficulty doing my self checkout and asked several times for assistance as people behind me we’re waiting on me. Finally the employee Monica came and spoke very condescending to me when I told her my purchase wasn’t going through. She pointed out I had to press a certain button, and then she was gone! I still couldn’t get my order to finish so I asked another employee and he came right away and assisted me. As I was leaving the store I walked through Monica’s check out and told her how rude she was and her response was that I just didn’t like it that she met my energy . Unbelievable!! This is probably the first job she’s ever had, and probably the last!

The old lady with long hair is such a nightmare. She’s constantly yelling throughout the store at her coworkers or at customers. She’s also blatantly discriminatory. She’s rude to me if I come into the store on an off day where I’m not looking my best but if I’m dressed professionally for work she’s always a sweetheart to me. I’ve also seen her yell at homeless, non English speaking, adolescent, and disabled individuals. I hate leaving negative reviews but every time I’m shopping and she’s there she’s always causing some sort of drama and it’s not only unprofessional and apathetic but it’s dangerous. She needs to learn some customer service and deescalation skills or she needs to leave.

Self check and register options. Staff will get on register if there is a long line. This store has a "more than a dollar" area. Large options of snacks and crafts. Decent cleaning supplies w/ name brands. Decent frozen food section for quick meals. Party supply area is great. They also do great with getting holiday items out on time / early. This is one of the better dollar stores in Tucson.

It's okay, the store itself has numerous things that other dollar trees do not have so that's nice. I've never seen self checkout in a dollar tree except this store. Big help that is. The employee's we're kind of rude. My biggest issue is there is so much stuff in there, it's hard to maneuver through the isles especially when there was other people trying to go through the aisles as well, very very tight spaces.I will be going back there to get my toiletries. Be aware they have raised their prices to 1.25$ it adds up quickly.

Unlike other stores I've been to, this one has self- checkout. Unfortunately. only one was open creating a long line. In a normal setting, I'm sure things flow smoothly. It's sad, however, that the Dollsr Tree is now the $1.25 store.

Not only do they have their phones off, but they NEVER have a register open. They ONLY have self checkout. This is the second time I came across this and when I asked which register lane was open they said self checkout only, I dropped all of the seasonal items I had in my hands in a shopping cart right next to them and left the store. They can do more work by cleaning it up and putting them back where they go. Ridiculous.So I called the Dollar Tree on Cortaro RD and asked if THEY had a registered lane open and they said THEY DO. When I explained what happened, they said, "No, EVERY store should have at LEAST one lane open with a register." SO it's good to know, the Dollar Tree on Ina and Thornydale literally are making their own rules and not making it convenient for the customers. Lmao Wow!!! Amazing customer service! 👌 Smh. I will be calling later to speak with the manager and letting her know that this is going on. I'm not sure she's aware that the morning workers are denying the lanes with an open register to customers. 👎

The only option is self checkout bc all the employees are over by the door talking about when they can go on break! They don't even help disabled people who are having issues holding their walker and balancing trying to scan their items! That woman was very unhappy and made a comment to me about how they don't care that we are working while they visit each other. I agree! It's really thoughtless for this store to not have a register open so people have the option of being helped by an employee even if it means standing in a line to do so! And a person who has issues that make them prefer to have help scanning their items is also prone to injury from a fall! A fall the DT made happen and they won't see it bc they are setting their break schedule!

An employee stood by the cash register trash talking nearly every person that walked out the door so loudly you could hear her thru the whole store. It began when an elderly gentleman needed help with checkout for 1 item. This employee refused to ring up 1 item & pointed him to the new self check out machines he clearly did not understand how to use. The man became rightfully frustrated & left without making a purchase. Each complaint after that was with customers not using self checkout. It was my understanding that self checkout is a choice for those who want to use it, not an outlet for employees to not do their job they were hired for. Had I not been in a hurry I would've left without making a purchase myself but I can tell you I won't be back to this location. I wanted to get this woman's name but was too upset to bother, I just wanted out of there! She was a woman with a long dirty blonde ponytail, glasses, in her 50s, I hope corporate can identify her & train her on proper customer service. Im appalled

The blonde manager here is so dumb I’m not sure how she keeps her job. She’s always rude, and seems absolutely miserable. Where do they find these people?! I thought at the very least you were supposed to have a little common sense. Guess not.

Cashier made my special needs adults feel very unwelcomed. She told them they take too long when they are in the store and made a comment on other disabled groups who come in that they take too long. Unacceptable

FRUSTRATED!! 2 stores near me and one has helluim but No balloons (Ina Rd) and other store has balloons but No helluim ( Cortaro Rd)!!!! REALLY!!! Also do not know when will get anything!! Our wonderful supply chain issues at work again

I love dollar stores! So this may be a bit prejudice. The Dollar Tree does really well with decorations for holidays. I sometimes get florals here because of the pretty good price and quality. They always carry some great organizing storage items. Every once in awhile they carry something that is of way better quality than a dollar; for example, flameless candles, a great novel, a cool toy for kids, nice hair barrettes. They really surprise me. And they surprise me a lot. I love them!

Extremely rude and unhelpful cashiers at this location. They used to have nicer employees here, but definitely not on Sunday morning now. No nametags on, so I don't know. Guess it's easier to be rude when anonymous. Might wait a few months and try again, hopefully with a friendlier staff. In the meantime, there are plenty of other places I can go.

I love picking up my holiday meal preparation things here. Best prices for pie filling and chicken broth. They also carry foil pans that you can't find in grocery stores such as cookie sheet size. it's a little crowded in there right now because of all the crossover items from Thanksgiving and Christmas, but I've never been disappointed when I shop there.

In this age of covid getting in and out of stores quickly is important. Not at this store. I waited in line for 15 min until the only clerk visible finally called for help and no one came. I checked out and there were 6 more people still waiting. I called the store manager and she said she didn't hear the call for help. Poor management.

I went in to exchange mini lights that did not work. There was a new associate at the register kept calling out for her manager to come for exchange. The Manager finally came and was very rude And yelled at me across two registers stating that if I did not have the receipt I could not exchange the damage lights. Now I could see if these lights were worth more than a dollar please there is no reason to be so rude. I will return this weekend the damage lights if I can find my receipt from the dollar store.

So very many items at such low prices. You can't afford not to go to their stores. You may not find diamonds and pearls but you will definitely find your own little diamond in the rough. School supplies food you name it they have it. If you haven't experienced going to a Dollar Tree you really should try it.

Horrible experience today. After waiting 10 mins to have some balloons filled, the clerk scolded me for touching some balloons, then rudely told me they were out of helium. My toddler was visibly upset at the whole situation, which could have been handled more professionally. I won't return to this location.

I was in this store for about 10 min. I asked a lady who worked there NOT WEARING A MASK if they had hand soap. She said no real fast, and bolted to the register. If your sign on the door says you arent allowed in with a mask, why is it ok for this employee to not wear one? I didnt catch her name but she was tall, thin, older with blonde hair and dark roots to her hair. You are NOT exempt! I took my mask off immediately when I saw her. If your own employees arent wearing masks, you better not say anything to me. I will record you.

This store is on of my regular stops. You will find many great deals and the ability to get in and out with what you need. I also appreciate that they have some product changes depending on the season.

Cindy was not a very nice cashier, came for a pick up order, her tone is not very nice and it wasn't until the manager came from the back that things were cleared up. Patricia was very helpful, and I after helping us I changed the review from 2 stars to 4

Best store ever, everything is only 1$ you can't beat that, and it seems like they have everything you need to survive, why shop anywhere else and pay way more. The workers there are super helpful and friendly I definitely recommend this store to anyone who hasn't been. I know I'll be back for sure

In Dollar Tree, everything is really a Dollar. It is clean and they actually have food there as well. There is cleaning stuff, which, in my opinion cleans better than the higher priced stores. If you buy the coffee there it is better than the expensive coffee. I know this because I buy my coffee there.
