My husband and I travel for work all over the country and I use self service dog washes wherever we go. This shop was hands down the best dog wash I have ever used. Water pressure was fantastic, shampoos, conditioners, and tools were all provided. The hi velocity dryers were amazing and the entire space was very clean.

I came here today to wash my dog about 40 minutes before closing and everything was fully stocked and super clean. The Lady who worked there was really friendly and helpful. I'll definitely be going back!

I love this place!!! I was in for the first time today with my parents dog. The facility is set up so wonderfully. They have everything you need, shampoo, conditioner, ear wipes, brushes, towels..... The list goes on. Everything is clean and convenient. And the owner and staff are so kind and helpful! I can't wait to take my own dogs in.

I always for to Rosie’s Barket and love this DIY wash. However, they were closed on the day I needed to wash my dog so I gave DIY wash (formerly Spike and Chester’s) a try and it is way closer to my home! When k walked in I was not greeted but asked if I had been there before and had to fill out a waiver. The waiver was general information. When I went to load my 80lb, 11 year, arthritic Springer into the small tub the ramp was narrow and at a high incline, I politely asked the ‘staff’ person if she could hold the lead so I could line up his legs and push his bottom into the tub. She responded by saying “I’m not allowed to touch dogs or Children” this as an awkward response. I continued to struggle trying to lead my dog and push him up the ramp. She just watched as she stood behind me. Again, I asked if she could please just hold the leash and she said I am not allowed to help. I have been going to DIY pet wash businesses for over a decade across four states and have never had a person refuse to help if I asked, not even to hold a leash??! I was beyond frustrated with this situation and said I’m going to leave and I will not be back. She condescending said “that’s ok’ and smiled and ripped up my waiver into pieces in front of me! I guess to make the point she didn’t care about the business, which was obvious from the first minute. There were No other customers and she had no interest in being welcoming to me. Side note, the tubs are small and the ramp is narrow, just to keep in mind if you have a larger dog. I had a terrible experience and can not say anything redeeming about this business and would never recommend anyone to spend money at DIY dog wash. The customer “service” was the worst example of any face of a business.

I've been taking my dogs Joy and Nibbler here for about a year. The work stations are always clean. At each station they provide several towels, and have all kinds of different brushes for all kinds of fur or hair. There's also a variety of shampoo that's included with the price, from hypoallergenic, to whitening, and several other options. You can purchase a deSheading conditioner for $3 that works wonders for my German shepherd and Pomsky. I finish of by using they're dog dryers along with a snood to cover their ears they have two different sizes you can borrow (also included in the self serve price). At the station you'll also find dog nail clippers, and ear wipes.If DIY isn't an option for you, they also provide grooming services there which are fantastic, and a great price.We love seeing Dia at the shop, she's always a great help!

I always take my Aussie here and we LOVE it! Staff is always so friendly and understanding and they love to see my girl all clean cut and fancied up. It's super cheap and affordable too for a full bath and self groom session, so you're not paying $100 to leave your dog alone for 4 hours. Always coming back!

They are very patient with us. The whole family usually comes in to wash the two dogs. We have been using them for many years. The tubs are large. They have multiple options for shampoos and conditioners and they are accommodating!

We have a large 70 lb. dog and have been taking him to the groomers.The groomers did a great job, but it was very expensive and our dog gets "stinky" quickly. However, yesterday was the first time we went to Spike and Chester's Scrub Tub and it was AMAZING!!! The gal who checked up in was wonderful, knowledgeable and helped us exactly as we needed. They had a professional wash tub, all the supplies from shampoos, conditioners, towels, aprons and brushes, as well as a dryer We were able to clean our dog easily because we had all the right materials and enough space to wash him. The best part was that it was very inexpensive and we can now clean him as needed. I love this place and will certainly come back again and again.

I have been taking my husky here for over a year it is such a great place! I will never go any place else I love it and my pup loves it. The two ladies who work here are very kind and helpful. If you are going to come in and wash your own dog just keep in mind that you will leave with dog hair on you(: I have been to many dog washes in Tucson and by far this is the best self serve dog wash in Tucson.

I dont have enough good things to say about my experience. The woman who helped me (Dianna or somethig) was an angel! I accidently clipped one of my dogs toenails too short and she was there in a heartbeat taking care of everything. The Shop was clean and had everything I needed. I will definately be back soon!

This place is great! Super friendly owner, nice supplies, very clean, and well-maintained!! My dogs (a golden retriever and a golden doodle) were in desperate need of baths. The soaps are natural and smell delicious, my dogs loved being massaged with the Zoom Groom brush and best of all, they walked out looking FANTASTIC! Prices are fair too!! Would recommend this place over and over again and will definitely be back!

Nice to have this facility, but was rather disappointed that I had to go through 2 bottles of dog shampoo to get my medium sized dog clean because the shampoo they offered was so ridiculously watered down. If you're paying $20 for a self wash, you should at least be able to suds your dog up. Better to bring your own soap or better yet, save the 20 bucks altogether and use a hose at a friend's house.

Love this place !!! and the convenience of being able to wash and groom your own dog. I take my time while I’m there and never feel rushed. It’s very clean and they are very helpful and ask you how you’re doing while there. The price for washing and/or grooming your dog cannot be beat. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for this type of service.

Mid-winter and cold, so we took my medium size dog in for a bath. The place had everything from smocks to all necessary grooming items available. The privates stall was big enough for two of us to bath our dog. Would certainly use it and recommend it again.

I bring my pooches here all the time. So easy and convient. They have towels and shampoo. Even great deshedding products. All natural so it doesn't harm my friends. It's a stand up professional dog bather tub. So there's no bending over the bathtub at home. Easy ramp to get in the tub for big dogs. And a nice groomer table in each stall includes a groomer fur dryer. I live this place and recommend it highly
