I truly prefer this store over the big chain pet stores. Although I think their markups might be a little much, they make up for it with high-quality product selections and excellent customer support. I have spent a pretty penny here already, but I’ll still be returning in the near future…mostly because of how much my puppy loves their selection of things to chew on. Rather pay a little bit more for something that’s healthy for my dog than spend that money on vet bills, am I right?? 😄

100% recommend Ella for dog training. Her approach to training is easy for owners to understand and implement at home. It is obvious that she cares for each dog as if it were her own. She also helped us pick out the necessary tools at D’Ogees Place to take our training home. Whenever our dog was at D’Ogees we could tell the entire staff was vested in her training progression.My dog was over-reactive to basic interactions during walks. Ella was able to diagnose the root cause and create a plan to help my pup disengage from the unwanted behavior. We are now confident walking our dog because we know how to redirect. She is also more connected/focused on us during normal activities. It’s as if we have a new dog.Thanks to Ella we have insight into what makes our dog tick and how we can help focus the attention towards desired behavior. She not only helped trained our dog to succeed but equipped us to be more confident owners.

I wanted somewhere I could play and interact with my dog. Doggie daycare has been the only other option for dog play where the owner is not allowed. LuLu has been to several training classes. Since I live in a small apartment, The Backyard at D'Ogee's gives a cool (beat the heat), clean space to practice our training with tips and encouragement from Siobhan.Siobhan has enriched both LuLu's and my life with her program and activities she has designed for us. I've discovered that LuLu loves puzzles! She's not just a "play catch", "tug-of-war" girl. And if she needs to burn some energy, she can have a run on the treadmill or through the agility course.The shop is top-notch, where you can find high-quality dog products. D'Ogee's is a very cool place!

This place is locally owned and operated so it's worth supporting even if it can be a little pricey. The owner herself and her pet greeted me they were very lovely. Great selection Of treats I got my baby some pig ears and some raw hide free goodies

I have a high energy pup and wanted a place for both he and I to interact and learn together. I first wanted to work on the agility equipment, but Siobhan has taught both of us so much more. She has a wealth of information and has a wonderful array of equipment and interactive toys for purchase as well. She also sells high quality food. Rudy now gets excited each week when I tell him it’s time to go to D’Ogee’s Place. I highly recommend D’Ogee’s.

Lucked into a visit at D’Ogee’s Place today with Nano (little Morkie). Super variety of dog products and excellent service from owner Siobhen. Nano loves his pack and plans to carry water and many treats on our hikes! Highly recommend this store!

I went for a meet and greet with my pup to see if this would be a good place for some indoor activities. We spent more than the allotted time talking about what they offer for activities/training and it was just a great experience. I ended up getting the 5 pack of sessions and will be visiting again soon! The shop is also great 😃

I watched the sign go up for this shop a few weeks ago and was so excited when it opened! I stopped by this week with my pup and had the pleasure of meeting Siobhan, who is incredibly knowledgeable and friendly! She made several quick recommendations for my dog after observing him for a few minutes and helped us practice walking with the new collar she recommended - we noticed instant improvement! She explained several techniques very thoroughly and really went out of her way to offer her expertise. We're excited to have D'ogee's Place as a resource in the neighborhood!

What a great place to get your dog some safe playtime! We rented the Backyard for an hour and invited a couple friends' dogs who our dog was familiar with. The dogs had an amazing time running around and testing out some small obstacles. Our dog typically does well at dog parks but this was definitely a more relaxing experience.Shioben was so responsive and patient while we tried to get the needed documents and vaccine records organized for our visit. I will definitely tell all my dog-owner friends about this place. We can't wait to go back!

George Russell and I enjoyed our first visit to D’Ogee’s Place. Siobhen was very friendly and helpful. She helped me get George used to the tunnel, and he enjoyed going through it at the end of our visit! We’ll definitely be back!

It is hard to find anywhere local with quality products for your dog.. but D’Ogee’s Place has them! They have great training equipment as well as so much more! Extremely nice and well informed, it makes for the best place in town to go for products and training for your pup! They don’t just put things on the self, they test them and provide the best quality products. Ella is a kind, knowledgeable, and experienced trainer! She dedicates all her time to educating her self on different training methods and making sure she is giving everything she can to the dogs she works with. Whether you are looking for better obedience or have a dog with behavioral issues, she is a balanced trainer who can help you figure out how to best help your dog. We came in for some dog booties for heat, left with extra fun stuff because there’s so many cool items in there! The staff was extremely helpful and gave our pups some free goodies out of the goodness of their hearts. Highly recommend for any dog equipment you need.

What a great set-up! We don’t love the uncertainty of dog parks (what other dogs will be there) and newly living in an apartment, our German Shepherd has been getting bored of just going on walks. We brought some toys but D’Ogee’s also had great options. We had a blast running and playing carefree! Siobhan was super accommodating and helpful. Would definitely return.

Ella is an amazing and highly knowledgeable trainer! If you have a chance to get to D’ Ogee’s Place and train with her you should do it! Her intuition with dogs is incredible and I have personally seen her transform dogs quickly to more stable and confident dogs. D’ Ogee’s Place offers unique products that are hard to find elsewhere. There is always something new at the store it seems like!

I am reviewing under the name Janet Hayes because I don’t have a Google ID. My friend was kind enough to let me use her ID. My name is Nancy R. I am so impressed with this shop and the level of customer service I experienced a few weeks ago when I showed up not realizing I had completely forgotten to bring my wallet with me. The shop owner kindly let me shop even though she knew I had nothing on me to pay for my purchase. She had never seen me before, did not know who I was, yet trusted me enough to send me an invoice and allow me to pay as soon as I got home and had access to my wallet. That is a level of service rarely if ever seen these days. Besides the exceptional customer service, I am extremely impressed with the quality of the products sold in this shop and the help I received in helping to pick out items to send to a friend out of country. This is going to be my go to shop for most if not all of my pet needs. Thank you D’Ogee’s Place for a delightful shopping experience!!

As an experienced dog owner/handler, D'Ogee's Place has virtually anything a dedicated owner or their dog could want from high quality gear & equipment to healthy & unique treats and they offer many services & enrichment that other pet stores do not. The staff is exceptionally knowledgable, helpful, and friendly. Top notch, all around. The excellent reviews speak for themselves and it's quite obivous that the only "one star" review is by someone who has a personal issue with an employee and chose to behave in a petty manner by leaving a negative review for a company she has likely never stepped foot into. It clearly has nothing to do with this business or the services provided and should be disregarded.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE D’OGee’s!!!! What a cool store. They have tons of toys and specialty training equipment, healthy treats, and an extremely knowledgeable and kind owner. The play/training/agility area in the back of the store is awesome. My dogs love going to shop and play. Do yourself and your pups a favor and give them a visit.

4 stars because of pricing. I like their retail business model, which is to offer vetted products that are available on Amazon. If I had a store that consisted of items that are tried and true off of Amazon, saving the consumer the effort of research, I would also up-charge. The difference is that I wouldn't up-charge that much. And if I did, I would make it worth it, meaning the products would also have some great accompanying literature explaining the pros of these products and why we carry them over others. The current business model does not promote customer retention, and for that, I reserve the 5th star.That being said, if you want to walk in to a store and know that what you are getting is safe, good, and tested, then go with D'Ogees, just understand that you're going to pay for it.
