I’ve been searching for good quality Timothy hay bales for my guinea pigs for such a long time and I finally found the BEST Timothy hay here at Arizona Feeds store.I’ve purchased Timothy hay at different local feed stores but the issue was that it was too dusty and when I would pull a sheet off the bale, the hay would basically shred into tiny pieces. It was horrible, I’d just throw away the entire bale. I gave up buying local and would buy online through Small Pet Select but the issue is that it’s too expensive..40 lbs for $79, I have a large herd of Guinea pigs and they eat A LOT of hay.But I FINALLY found good quality Timothy hay here at Arizona Feeds Store. The price is excellent for a 90lb bale. It’s 1st cut which is perfect! The hay has long thick stems and LOTS of flower heads. Very Little dust.Some bales are more 2nd cut while others are 1st cut. Either or…1st or 2nd cut hay is the best for Guinea pigs and is what they need to to maintain good dental health! My Guinea pigs LOVE the hay, they get so excited when I give them fresh hay.Arizona Feeds Store also has good quality Orchard hay that I also use for my guinea pigs. So if you have Guinea pigs and you’re looking for good quality Timothy hay (a mixture of 1st cut/2nd cut) and good quality Orchard hay, this is the spot!If you’re looking for 3rd cut Timothy hay, I highly recommend Tanque Verde Feed Store in East Tucson. It’s very soft Timothy hay, mostly brown, it’s good hay. But if you know about guinea pigs, 3rd cut hay is high in calcium, fat and protein, so it’s best to feed sparingly and not daily.As for daily hay, 1st cut or 2nd cut is what is recommended to provide the fiber they need, maintain their dental health and overall healthy digestion. So if you’re looking for 1st cut hay, this is the spot 😊Staff is always very friendly and helpful. It’s always a pleasure to shop here and support locally. Thank you!

Always helpful and respectful to their customers. Northwest Naturals is the best raw dog food by far and Arizona Feeds has this product and will order it if they are out of stock. Excellent customer service and the employees have a heart of gold.

I found them to be very knowledgeable about locally grown hay. I am from SD in the summer, and my horses are on pasture. They would not eat Bermuda, and one did not do well on Alfafa (diarrhea), but they shared Teff with me, and all is well that ends well! He also suggested a Vita Lick and it helped a ton! Thanks AZ feeds!!!

When we were looking for chicks for our back yard flock tractor supply recommended AZ feeds, bc TSC was done with chicks for the season. The staff stayed open for an extra few minutes and we're so friendly when my son chose the chick he wanted. Our three chicks are healthy and growing well and my son loves his chick "Andrew" 😂

I get my feed from here for my chickens that's always great. But tonight i bought a chic and got it home put it with my other birds and 2 hours later. It was dead. No idea why... just pretty upset. I have gotten them from here before and the same thing occured. Maybe buy the big hens and chickens when they have them. But not the chics. Seems like something's wrong.

Usually find what I'm looking for and more! Had first gone to the humane society which had advertised chickens for adoption for $5... BTW, the humane society doesn't have any chickens. Stopped at AZ Feeds and saw some older "chicks" which they were selling for only $2.99 each, and so I bought a couple. Am in city limits so fingers crossed that they're not roos. In a couple of weeks, I'll set them free in my much roomier chicken coop (which already houses one possessive chicken). What a wonderful find!!!!

I buy some of my pets supplies at this store. I have found that they definitely pass saving onto their customers. For example my dog chews are much cheaper than ordering the same on Amazon.. encourage all animals lovers to compare and give Arizona Feeds a try!!!

BEWARE!!!!I was sold #1 premium alfalfa hay and the hay is definitely not #1! More than 1/2 of the bales are moldy and full of stems. I do not want to lied to when buying hay, especially at todays prices! If they didn’t have premium, then they should have be honest and I would have gone somewhere else. I called to discuss with them, and they basically said unless the bales were not open, they would not take back. Some of my bales are open, as that’s how I found the mold inside. Very disappointing! Their customer service sucks! I’ll never support this business again!

I have purchased my dog's food and cat litter here for at least a year. They are always courteous, always helpful without being pushy and I have never waited in line or experienced difficulties with a purchase or a return. (Only 1 return for an item, ever.) I love that they help with carrying large bags and items to our vehicles and they never seem upset or put out by doing it.2022 and it's still the same. Still using them and very happy customer.

Haven't visited this location in some time but in passing needed to stop for horse and chicken supplies. The retail items have increased hugely from my last visit years ago. Wide range of items for many animals. Was happy to see the selection of equine supplements. Truck was loaded quickly with chicken feed. All in a great visit. We'll be back.

I LOVE this store and I am so happy to have found them. Not only is the store clean, organized and set up to find things quickly if needed, the staff couldn't be friendlier and more helpful. I googled a store in my new area for horse bedding pellets for my Rat Terrier's gianormous litter box. I am a Disabled Veteran and they are my certified comfort dogs for my brain injury. Not only did the staff send the invoice to the back for the pellets to be loaded into my car in an efficient manner, they even thanked me for my service. I LOVE this store.

Employees are always knowledgeable and super friendly. Have a great selection of feeds including dog and cat food. Prices are better than you'd find at PetSmart. Plus you can buy chickens! We have a wonderful flock thanks to AZ Feeds Store. Plus, they rehomed a rooster that we had.
