This is one of the best hardware stores I’ve been to. It’s always extremely well staffed with people who are knowledgeable, fun to talk to and willing to help. The prices are a high on certain things compared to home depot but it’s well worth it for better service and neighborhood feel! Support this place!!!

Ace is the helpful place, unless you need to return something they don't stock (even if it's an Ace branded item!). Then you're expected to return it to the original store, no matter how far, or find another one who stocks it. This is supposed to be a benefit of a franchise - a uniform experience. But no, they are all "individually owned and operated franchises" (as are all franchises, as anyone having taken one business class can tell you) and will heavily lean of this false premise to deny your return. Be smart, go to a store that has uniform and sensible policies across all locations like Home Depot or Lowe's rather than be expected to know the ridiculous rules they set up at each store without telling you until after the fact.

I came to get a hose here with my baby today and the customer service staff and cashier were so welcoming and kind. Complemented me and helped me because they saw I was carrying my baby. I highly recommend this ace. I wish I knew the staffs name that assisted me but you guys are awesome!!

This Ace Hardware is awesome. The staff is knowledgeable, very helpful and friendly. The amount of projects around the house I have completed is in the dozens, and often times I receive invaluable advice on which product I should choose for the job. Great people at this store, and you gotta love the free popcorn.

I walked into the store and Shane waited on me. He is awesome. He gave me suggestions for my project. Help me by cutting some of the wood I needed. Found the best price for the hardware I needed. Assured me by confirming that I had all the right hardware and even assisted me to the cash register. Most pleasant experience I have ever had at a hardware store. This is my favorite place to shop. I love this Ace! They have a huge selection of things needed for the older houses in the neighborhood, that you can't find at other stores. The staff is so knowledgeable and helpful- even if what you're building is odd or unusual, they will help you figure out how to do it. They also have lots of interesting snacks and paletas to keep you going!

I love this store. The staff is super friendly and helpful. I have been going here since the grand opening many of the staff know me by name and I them. No giant box store could ever provide the true neighbor feel of this place. Even if you just need some advice stop in and make a quick friend too. Any negative comment you read is most certainly from some unhappy crusty human being. Go here, come back many more times and have a bag of popcorn while solving your electrical frustrations.

This Ace has everything you should need to keep these historic neighborhoods well maintained. I have never been disappointed by this location. The staff is friendly and eager to help at any time.There is a gigantic Ace Hardware on the other side of town that has a much wider selection of parts and gadgets. Want a baby chicken? They have them at a decent price.

Not pleased that not one of the clerks in the store wears a mask. This seems to me to be a total disregard for their clients. The mask is a way to protect others in case you are infected. It is not so much to protect you from others. You may be asymptomatic and not realize you are infecting others. I will not be shopping there either until the virus is gone or the staff starts wearing masks. It is a small store and could easily become a hot spot. This virus is not a joke.

Darn good well stocked hardware store. Knowledgeable employees that will give you help when you ask for it, or leave you alone if you don't. I like to be left alone in the hardware store because I've always got some project going, and if somebody interrupts me, I end up forgetting something. Stainless metric socket head fasteners? No problem.

I love this Ace Hardware. Starting with the vintage "Main Street" look of the building to the extremely helpful staff, and finally the incredible selection of products. Whether you're looking for some screws, wood, tools, paint, or what have you, this location has it. They even have a pretty decent selection of art supplies. The staff is always willing to go the extra mile to make sure you find, and leave, with what you need. This Ace is most definitely the place.

This is one of my favorite Ace hardware stores. The employee retention here tells the story in a nutshell of good ownership. Some Ace franchises are just miserable experiences. Parking here can be a pain, but never more than a couple of minutes for a space to open at worst.

The staff are all extremely helpful and friendly! They help with any questions or tell you the easiest way to do a job! I shop there because of how caring they are! Have never had a bad experience with any of the staff! I recommend this Ace to everyone!

I go to Ace 3 or 4 times a month and purchase many items. Often an "extra" item knowing I can exchange it for something I need if/when the time comes. Recently I was advised that over 90 days no exchange can happen unless there is "available space" in the store to display the item. It never happened before. When I called to check I was told "every store has policies. Too bad customer service and satisfaction is not higher on the "policy" list.

A bit more expensive than bigger stores, but staff is always friendly and ready to help. They cut glass, cut keys, have cleaning supplies, etc. It's a great store to have in this community.

I walked in the door holding my house key. An employee immediately looked at me and said "It looks like you need a key made" I responded and said that was correct. 60 seconds later I had my key copy and was on my way. There's really not any way that my experience could have been better.

The best home store in tucson. I’ve never been in there when I haven’t immediately had 3 people asking me how they can help. And not just show me to the right isle but talk about full projects and help me get all the right items. These guys rock!

U discriminated against me being a younger person, I love ace hardware but not now, the cashier inspected my money so intricately you would think I was stealing, even tho I had an associate with me at all times n was there getting help for a long time, male staff was great but the one female cashier made me feel uncomfortable, normally I wouldn't care about looking at my money but I watched 20+ people over 30 not even get there cash get glanced at then I check out n she runs it under some machine, money was obliviously real but you lost a customer for life at this discriminatory location.

Employees are not helpful. I have been in with hardware and asked for a simple like for like replacement. Screws, bolts.... What I am given is never correct. If you go there do all work yourself. Do not trust the sales people.
