The new manager is awesome! Helped me out with a tool to tighten down my battery and when that didn't work gave me a jump! Store is 50/50 on supply's. But overall the staff is general top notch.

They have a lot of things, they try their hardest to stock up but it’s impossible sometimes but know that we as customers can see the effort.

This place is always out of stock on most essentials. I missed their weekly truck by 1 day and the eggs were sold out and so was the bacon. If tonopah had other stores i would NOT be shopping at this specific dollar general. They are not meeting the demand due to recent growth in tonopah and cannot seem to fix the issue.

11/29/23 ,Don’t Remember the cashiers name but she’s the only old lady in the front has the nastiest attitude.When my mom said that she didn’t want the item ,she proceeds to takes it from my mom proceeded to THROW the ídem hard into a basket, and shaking her head .The whole time she opened her mouth was to speak rudely and condescending.Its not our fault that you can’t have anyone to RELY on at that age so you don’t have to work.Respect is earned not given,and if I would’ve threw my money,at her age she would’ve had a B-Fit.She needs to fix those crispy,dry,red hair she got,and get that racist attitude checked.

If I could score lower i would. Register Employees rude, accused me of lying about items on sale. I showed them in store advertising sign. They both said nope, if the register dosent ring it up that way you can just cancel the sale and go somewhere else. False advertisement and rude employees. No place for me to contact manager or owner. If anyone knows who that is and how I can contact them please let me know.

Management staff needs to be retrained or re-educated. The way that they approach customers or potential customers can substantially create the wrong impression. The back of house area was not up to par and outside if you looked to the left or right of the building it was disgusting! When approached by the manager negatively I mentioned the trash area and at first he tried to blame it on the local transients. This is in a location where there's only two stores nearby I don't think there's a lot of transients that are coming to get a bunch of cardboard boxes. So I took it to which the spirit was intended however I did correct him because he did not know that my group actually owned that property. So I let him just talk his way into a hole. with that being said the store needs improvement I think they're doing a corporate level but they should not refresh the upper management.

I like going to Dollar General except it's turned into more of a grocery store than anything else cuz the people around here seem to want to buy everything that they would normally buy at a grocery store. Therefore it's kind of difficult getting through check out however if they were to put in some self-service stands it would make it a lot easier and quicker. Getting stuff reasonably priced there is easy if you look around.

Every shelf in the store is so bare I'm surprised they're able to stay open. This is definitely not a place to go shopping if you need anything and I think I'll stick with the family owned even though it's a little more but at least they have food on their shelves

Why does this store always have problems. It's either their rude and they look and act like they hate their jobs or their closed because their system is down. The closing has been happening quite often. The store is always a mess and the flies are horrible in that store. You think it would be awesome having a store like this in Tonopah but it really isn't. I also have called corporate to file a complaint but they are always changing managers and district managers.

Man, the first few weeks I went into the store there was more product on the floor then on the shelves.I believe the new manager is taking better ownership and keeping much better watch on his store. Isles are passable and items are stocked a little better, and on the shelves. Some shoppers can be brutal.Each time I go back it's improved.

It is convenient when O need something in a hurry and don't want to drive 20 miles to town, but it has gotten dirty, flues galore, tweakers hang out in and outside of the store all day, told the cashier and she said I know but what can we do??? The isles are a mess, open half eaten food on shelves, there are signs of mice and or rats with holes in bags of chips and poop inside, drinks have been opened and drank out of and put back on the shelf...it was a very nice store when it first came and now its like no one cares to keep up with it. Very sad management needs to do something.

This store has been open to the public for over a year now and not much has changed. Almost every time I go the store is a mess. Merchandise has never been fully put up or stocked or restocked. The shelves are unorganized. The associates who work there are unfriendly and when I've asked for assistance they act as though your bothering them. The lines are usually long and theres always a fly that bothers you as you wait to be checked out. I think if they hired on one more person at this store there would be fewer issues. The store is clean and they do have a good selection of merchandise for this particular area and theres always a good parking spot.

Cannot use digital coupons since can't get internet connection in store or parking lot. Shelves always need stocking is there go to excuse why you can't find anything or unloaded truck but haven't stocked shelves.. They still haven't replaced glass in front door after someone tried to rob the place. Employees take no pride in the store, there have been times you have to wait to check out since either in bathroom, outside smoking, or on personal phone calls. Only seen 2 employees that weren't rude to customers.

Great store. Unfortunately in this community the vast majority are welfare abusers and system abusers so when the welfare and food stamps come in they flood the stores and what isn't robbed is cleared out. Never go on or the day after welfare day. Not the employees fault. Give them alot of credit for doing what they can.

Awesome staff. Corporate needs to give them more people to keep the shelves stocked and the store a bit more organized. Otherwise, fair prices and wonderful smiles earns this establishment a five star rating.

the store is always a mess. boxes of merchandise blocking the aisles and stuff everywhere and disorganized. Most of the staff are very rude and unhelpful. They stand behind the register counter talking even though they have a long line of customers waiting to be checked out. Not somewhere to stop if you are in any kind hurry because 9 times out of 10 the cashiers are too busy talking to each other, outside smoking, or off in their own little world's, to handle their waiting customers.

The store is good. The re stocking is the bad part. Boxes are left in the carts and no body puts them in the shelf. If you are looking for an item you have to open the boxes yourself and look for the item in there.

I can understand opening screw ups but ths place has been open over a year and still can't keep the shelves stocked. When manager Don left recently the place took 1 giant step backwards. Come on corporate wake up hire a decemt manager who can get along with and get employes to work. Someone who has knowledge of ordering whats selling and hkw fast. For now its back to Wintersburg store for me

The customer service at this store is the worst that I have ever come across. Just trying to check out with an item takes forever. The ONLY cashier keeps walking away from the till leaving a customer standing with no explanation. The other cashier will be having some conversation with someone else while the line keeps growing.The selves are almost empty while the product going on the shelves sits on carts in the middle of the aisles. This makes shopping even harder.I have walked out without purchasing the product I wanted on numerous shopping trips and will continue to do so if the situations at this store do not improve.

Since there are very few places to shop in Tonopah, Arizona we were very excited when Dollar General came in. Typically we have to drive 20 minutes to Buckeye to do a majority of our shopping. Unfortunately there are definitely a few things that can be improved at the store. They can't seem to keep the flies under control, the aisles always have stocking carts in them so they are crowded and the shelves are disorganized. However the staff is always very friendly and they do the best they can with what they're given to work with.

Found a lot of cute stuff here and got a eyeliner that lasted more then a regular average one would for only a $1 also the workers were very friendly and courteous & went high beyond for you I even listed the number above for you guys since I had trouble finding the. Number myself it's actually on the end of your receipts if you look closely, anyways I had a good experience here and hope you all do as well thank you and have a nice day!

For the past 2 weeks I go in and they don't have want I need. Then today I go in and no milk. They got a shipment in today and I ask if I can buy two. The lady says no, they have to inventory the milk. Ugh. You guys lost my business.

too long of a Wait in line and too small of Isles///// that was my old review. Here's the 2021 and late 2020.... The male manager there is on in point with all that concerns Cudtom. Serv. And keeping the store neat and in order. Stillnonly has 2 cashiers but boy do they make it work!

Very irritated. Came by Friday and was told store would open on Sunday. Came by Sunday at 10:30 there is a closed sign on the door. We went to the door To find out when they were opening, people inside turned away and wouldn't even acknowledge we were at the door. The store is somewhat out of the way for me, so with this type of service I doubt I'll be back. That's ok, I like Dollar Tree much better anyway.

This place is horrible, every time I go there is at least 6-7 people in line and one person on register.... which means a 10-15 minute wait at least in line. Meanwhile you see a second employee stocking shelves and you know they know the line is backed up because they walk up and down the isles. I won't even mention the chatter you hear in the office behind the registers.I'm grateful wintersburg general store matched the prices on their energy drinks so I can just go there.I understand the locals will deal with this however a HUGE percent of the business will be from the power plant employees.... who don't have time for this.

Staff is usually friendly however not many are knowledgeable with respect to the products they carry or stock them. Aisles are almost always congested what's product to be stocked on the shelves. I don't believe they employ enough personnel adequately run the store.

Employees were great but they were out of the dog food we normally get there... the last 2 times went there for dog food we had to pick something different each time because of the limited stock... but they had they something atleast to for us to buy... Today we went there for dog food and they didn't have any dog food...completely out of all dog food...Really DG... No dog food... Y'all must not have pets becouse that totally sucks when you can't get food for them 👎

What can I say? It's Dollar General. It's the only thing approximating a supermarket, drugstore, or box store in the area -- you have to go 20 miles to find a Fry's, Walgreen's, and Walmart, so this is handy in between major shopping trips. There's a little bit of everything. Almost.For food, there's no freshies, but there's a decent assortment of everything else. Canned and otherwise shelf stable products as well as dairy and frozen. And of course lots of snacks.Also all sorts of household, cleaning, and health-care and beauty supplies. Even toys, housewares, and clothes.I'd hate to have to survive with DG as the only store I could shop in, but if that was the case, it could be done. I'm glad it's here when I need it, and the prices are usually decent, and sometimes better than the bigger stores.
