This hotel appears to be a relatively new property. However, in addition to being built before the latest Life Safety Codes, it doesn't even have an elevator!Fire doors are propped open with trash cans, room doors barely latch, and can not be locked via the deadbolt. For a "free breakfast," this hotel's offering fell far short of expectations. The receptacle powering the waffle makers was visibly burned and missing its cover. Thankfully, they were marked as out of service.  Unfortunately, that left cold cereal, instant oatmeal, or bagels as your breakfast options.  The "coffee" was a hot dark liquid that was coffee's underachieving stepchild. The one staff member appeared to be overwhelmed as she was apparently doing several jobs at once and struggling at that.On the cleanliness scale, it doesn't rate 1/2 star. Both duvet covers were visibly dirty with a chocolate (I HOPE) stain on one. Both chairs in the room had stains on them.In short, this property needs to bring on maintenance staff and hospitality staff and bring fire and life safety items up to modern standards.

Beautiful hotel with great views of the surronding deserts. The large arbor that you walk through to the main entrance, had the hanging flowers in bloom. When you walked in it felt like you were walking into a romantic movie setting with this thick cascade of yellow rose like flowers (this was in mid April when they were in bloom). The only problem with this hotel is there is no elevator to the second floor. My wife has difficulty walking, even with the crutches she uses, and there were no rooms available on the first floor.

This hotel was the most horrendous disgusting hotel I’ve ever had the displeasure of almost staying at. We travel a lot stay in many types of hotels and motels. This one was by far the most unkept and unclean that I’ve ever been into. We ended up leaving within 20 minutes of exchanging two rooms Were both equally disgusting. I don’t know who they have cleaning their rooms, but they need to be shown how to really clean. There was feces and blood all over one of the sheets and comforters. And blood and whatever else on the walls. Smelled like urine and marijuana when we walked in. Complained to the manager she said she was having a bad day. Didn’t know what to do about all this didn’t have codes. We deplore people do not stay at this hotel. It’s full of drug addicts and nobody’s doing their jobs there. And the craziest part is there the most expensive motel in the area advertising as high-end hotel. Be worn do not stay here.

This is ok if you don’t find anywhere else to stay. Furniture and everything is very old and worn. Coffee maker was stained, old and filthy. Toilet seat slid off and our bathroom light burned out, but they did fix it. Breakfast left a lot to be desired. When we arrived pool and jacuzzi closed. Stayed two nights no cleaning services at all., beds and pillows pretty old but tolerable. Some plugs not working- when we first arrived A/C not working. I sure hope the new owners update this place! Wouldn’t stay again.

I’m not sure why this hotel doesn’t have a 5 star. We stayed there this weekend. From reservations Libra and David went above and beyond to make sure my children and grandchildren as well as my husband and I had rooms together. The rooms were clean and very quiet. There were plenty of towels that I loved. The pillows and blankets were so comfortable. The bed was ok. But everything else was just so perfect. The breakfast lady was as nice as could be. Thank you for a very lovely stay! Libra, once again. Thank you for going above and beyond for my family. I appreciate all you did.Rooms: They were clean and quiet. Very comfortable.Nearby activities: The ok corral is a mile down the road.Safety: Felt extremely safe.

Very close to the attractions. The room was clean and big enough. The deadbolt lock and that weird metal lock towards the top of the door where the door chain would be was broken so I didn't feel that safe. Also the AC unit was loud and always on. But the problem was it would get hot then turn on till it was freezing then turn off but keep blowing air. So the room was never a great temperature. The breakfast was a huge letdown. They didn't have any protein like breakfast meats. They had bagels but no way to cut them open. They didn't have juice, and ran out of syrup. They ran out of pretty much everything way before closing time. Very bad breakfast. They had made their own waffles but ran out of the batter. No eggs, or anything else really. 2 types of cereal but no milk. They did have cream cheese in these squeezable pouches that I thought were pretty cool. The pet relief area in the back of the building had bags but no trash cans. For some reason they had a ton of baseball size river rocks in the middle you had to walk on and hopefully not twist your ankle on. There's this path behind the building I didn't go on but looked like it could be fun. They have a pool and hot tub but I didn't go in so not sure how it is. They have a fire pit outside with seating that looks like it could be fun to hang out with friends and drinks but you have to be your own drinks.Rooms: Rooms were clean except the deadbolt lock and the metal one in the top of the door that's like were the chain on a house door would be was not working.Nearby activities: It's right at the edge of tombstone town

The room was very clean, and the bed was comfortable. The shower had decent water pressure. It's a mile or so away from the main streets of Tombstone, which is a great location. Plenty of parking is available.Rooms: Clean

I need to start by saying that the evening check in clerk was fantastic in every way!!! She was so caring and kind. She booked us 2 rooms beside each other and went over and beyond ensuring we were able to book rooms last minute. The rooms were o.k. Nothing too fancy but adequate. The beds were o.k. Not the most comfortable beds but not the worst either. The cleanliness was good... although I do think the bathrooms (the bath area especially) could use a little more tlc attention when cleaning. But they weren't horrible.Complementary breakfast was being eaten by most the guests by 7 a.m. which meant we were waiting for refills of items. This is more of a complimentary coffee bar. Muffins, oatmeal, cereal, bread items, some fruits, yogurt, etc. But it worked for us.Overall, a great little hotel. Thank you!!

I want to share my experience at the Grand Hotel this week. Check in was fast and staff very friendly. Our room was large and the bed so soft that there were no complaints from my hubby. We did have an issue with tv not working but a quick visit to front desk and the work around was easy to do. Breakfast was a light one but they did have a waffle machine so waffles and coffee for us. This hotel was just perfect for us. We have no complaints. Thank you again to the staff who were always available and friendly.

Very nice, clean hotel. We were lucky enough to stay on the first floor so getting to our car and offloading our gear was easy. It was quiet with lots of wildlife! The fire pit area provides fantastic sunrise and sunset views. Close to the historical sites of old Tombstone and the staff was very welcoming. Would definitely stay here again!

If you have any accessibility issues, forget this hotel. There is no elevator and they won't do anything to help. The older lady that worked the front desk in the AM Saturday/Sunday was so unhelpful and rude everytime we dealt with her. Everyone else was really nice and did what they could to help. Breakfast was really not much of anything. Room was decent, not super comfy but it did the job. If you stay by the stairs, expect a lot of noise from the people walking up and down and the door slamming. The fire pit and pool looked nice but we didn't get the chance to use them.

Its been a while since we have been back to Tombstone but I would recommend staying at the Tombstone Grand if you do go. The hotel isnt the fanciest but it is comfortable and clean. They allowed early check in which was great since we flew into Mesa and were tried from the flight and drive.Service is great and the pool is clean as well. We very much appreciated the pool which was a deciding factor on where to stay. We are from Michigan and the heat is foreign to us.I thought I would hate how far it is to town. I do wish a sidewalk was nearby but we wanted to have some adult drinks in town before going back to the hotel. Since there is no Uber or taxi, we walked the 1 mile to the hotel. It was dark and scary and we had so many good laughs that honestly, I recommend walking.Other than the distance there are no complaints about our stay. A huge bee of some sort hunted us down in the pool area but creepy crawlies are at home in Southern Arizona so you have to get used to that.

Worst hotel in our cross country trip. Rooms old and outdated. Bed covering and pillows were really old, no bedstand on one side. Dirty stained desk chair. Tv doesn't work with remote. Asked the girl at the front desk who said that's just how it is. Breakfast was terrible. Waffle makers both broken, only eggs were hardboiled. And did I mention the price was high.Rooms: OldFood & drinks: Awful

The name is misleading, yes it's a hotel, yes it's in tombstone but it's nowhere near grand. my wife and I Stayed in a double queen room here for a week while in town on family business, but a tent in the desert would have been a better and more comfortable option. Whoever put the pictures of their rooms is a photoshop master, the rooms are not as nice as they look in the photos. They are old, run down and dingy. The carpet looked like they dragged it in off the street, the paint on the walls looked like it has never been taken care of let alone wiped down or cleaned. Only 2 of the accessible electric outlets worked but each one Only had 1 working receptacle so you can't have the light plugged in at the same time as anything else. you either have lights , or you can unplug the light and plug in a phone charger or whatever else you would want to plug in. As for the beds,, Ive done many hiking and backpacking trips over the years where your only option for a bed is a sleeping bag on the ground, and the beds in this place were by far the worst thing I've ever tried to sleep on In my life. You can feel every single spring in the mattress, but at the same time they're hard as a rock. If you already have back or hip pains these beds are guaranteed to intensify it. You will wake up stiff and sore. Even though The shower head looked like it had a corral reef growing out of it, water did come out and it sort of worked, but if you want to wash your hair you would be better off using the bathroom sink or maybe stick your head under the tub spout, just make sure you remember to hang your towels to dry after you shower because the hotel does not provide maid services to your room during your stay, and according to the fromt desk the rooms are only cleaned between guests, so if you are staying more than a night or 2 you're going to wana bring your own clean sheets from home if you like clean sheets. The toilet paper supplied is more sand paper than anything,it was bad enough that I went to the family dollar down the street and bought my own. as for the breakfast they advised, it's just some pre mixed waffle batter and 2 dirty waffle irons you can use to make your own waffle, some day or 5 old boiled eggs, a few stale bagels, a non working juice dispenser ( it said apple and orange juice buy neither one worked) and some of the worst coffee I've ever had. I'm pretty sure they used 2 week old gym socks as the filters.. what it all comes down to is the fact that a hotel on The corner of crystal and meth would be a cleaner more comfortable option of places to stay while you're on vacation or traveling through tombstone

Absolutely terrible service. Me and my fiancé rented a Tesla for my work event I had this weekend. We ran out of battery and luckily just in time we pull up to this hotel that has a Tesla charger! But WAIT, it’s locked. I called the hotel to ask if they could unlock it, and they said I had to pay for a room to charge my vehicle. Also the Tesla charger is so slow, you’d be better off watching paint dry before your vehicle is ready to go. Will never stay here or recommend anyone here ever.

Me and my Husband stayed here we traveled from Oregon and chose this motel based on the fact we were told the Hot tub worked and the pool was okay to use. Upon arrival the hot tub did not work, the pool we were unable to use too... A very long trip and not even a discount or anything, the staff they were nice but the amenities were terrible, the elevator didn't even work... I cannot say that we will chose this establishment when we come back, we thought perhaps we would get a discount or some thing because we were told incorrect stuff, but nope... The cleanliness of the rooms was okay but being lied too and 70% of the things don't work in this motel, that's not okay at all we traveled very far and chose this motel personally and they treat us that way.

( A year has passed and I was never contacted after being eatin by bed bugs. Terrible business model.)I used to love this place. Christmas of 2022 we stayed for 2 days and I was completely eaten alive by bed bugs.I was promised a full refund. After a month that never came to pass.Quite disappointing

We came to Tombstone for Halloween. Both the pool and jacuzzi were dirty, our coffee maker did not work right, the top latch lock on our door was broken. All the staff but one person was rude to us. The girl cleaning the breakfast area today November 1st 2023 was rude to me. She said " I am cleaning this area right now, so for future reference breakfast ends at 9:30am." I said "sorry I didnt know". She said "I didnt think so". I walked in right at 9:30 to just grab a muffin, I didn't know grabbing a muffin and going back to my room was a horrible sin and made a mess. November 2nd cant come fast enough. If I ever come back to Tombstone I won't be staying in this hotel again. I didn't pay 451 bucks for people to be rude to me, dirty pool, broken locks and messed up coffee maker that I had to clean to try to use. I would suggest other people looking for a hotel, just keep looking.

Stayed here while I came here for a small trip.. location wise it’s great, 1 minute drive from the historic site. Hotel is clean and service is great. Only thing is it could use an updating but it’s clean so it’s fine. They have a nice and cozy fire pit area outside and you can hear coyotes all night which was cool. There is a gas station/convenient store 1 minute down the road.. I would stay again.Rooms: Rooms are a good size, nice and clean with large bathrooms.. could use an update but they’re good.Nearby activities: The historic town is literally a minute away, plus a bunch of other things to see and do.Safety: Had zero issues safety wise, not even the slightest thought.Walkability: You can walk anywhere since it’s a tiny area.Food & drinks: Plenty of places to eat and drink around. Which was a great part of its location.Noteworthy details: Being hiking shoes to walk around the hotel area, there is a beautiful mountain out back you can walk up with an amazing view.

Very sad stay. Beds were hard as a rock, phone in the room didn't work, clock in the room didn't work, ac barely cooled the smallest part of the room, the mini fridge sucked, let's not even talk about the "free breakfast " I hope you're not hungry, n don't ask for extra pillows or blankets cause you'll have to get them yourself from the front desk. The hot tub was nice. Dirty but nice once you cleaned it yourself, but the hand towels they gave you to dry off on.... well let's just say don't bother. Just drip dry. Yup most definitely noooot worth the money. Save yourself.Rooms: Crappie, needs alot of work.

The hotel is in a nice location for a quick visit in Tombstone. We tried to check in three separate times between 1 PM and 6 PM. Each time the front desk had a flyer on it, saying the agent would be back within four minutes. I waited roughly 15 to 20 minutes each time. The employee I finally got at 6 PM was very kind and friendly. The rooms were old and semi-clean, however, we did find an open mouse trap in our room which isn't safe for children to be around. I also found a few dead roaches in the bathroom. The TV did not work even after following the instructions for what to do if the TV does not work right next to it. The air conditioner left something to be desired, because it only cooled about a foot from the unit and the rest of the room was hot. We probably would not stay here again, unfortunately. We only stayed one night, so there was no sense in complaining.

When I first entered the hotel their pool outdoors seem very different from the images , it seemed very dirty, full of leaves and sticks. They have a coffee machine that is dirty and probably hasn't been washed in like a year, the towels all seem really dirty and the shower still has people's old soap mark and hair everywhere the tv doesn't even work and to get water you have to get It from a vending machine or go all the way to the diner to fill a bottle of water and you have to bring your own water. The staff their all seem to be ok when you ask them a simple request they go to a annoying tone and gives you less of what you asked for. The view is also kind of bad.
