I have been having my dog groomed by PetSmart for over 7 years. Almost 2 years at the Tempe, Elliot Rd location. Today when I showed up for our appointment I was 5 minutes late and they asked me to wait. Which was fine, I waited while they finished with the dogs they were working with. The groomer then told me she would need to charge me a late fee because I was now 10 minutes past my scheduled appointment time. I pointed out that I had been waiting for at least 5 minutes since I walked in and she said well there's no one here other than you. That was true but they also did not check me in when I came in the door. I waited there just me and my dog for over 5 minutes. I then told her to just cancel the appointment. She immediately became defensive and rude. I then told her because of her attitude they had just lots a loyal customer and I would not be back. To which she replied fine. I then asked does that not mean anything to you? And she replied no, not really. Needless to say I will not return and I would encourage anybody to think twice about using the grooming services at this location.

I booked my dogs' stay through the Petsmart app, and upon arrival none of my selections were in the system. It turns out that the checkout time and package I selected were not available. Without receiving any phone call updating me on these changes, it was a little hectic trying to sort out new arrangements at check-in. I was able to book an earlier flight to accommodate the new checkout time, the receptionist helped me select a new package, and the dogs did seem reasonably taken care of. However, I was a little disappointed that the dogs were not played with individually, but rather were just left to their own devices with the other dogs in a large play room. The staff was friendly and helpful, though. In summary, I would not recommend using the app as it does not appear to be properly synced with the locations' packages and hours. Also, if you are looking for more one-on-one attention, a personalized dog watcher would be your best bet.

I've taken my Boxer to Petsmart since he was 8wks and he is 8years old now. The Petsmarts in Texas and Arizona have been wonderful to him. He has stayed at the pet hotel and had grooming services and has smelled and looked wonderful when we picked him up. He was happy and healthy after being picked up. The Banfield Vets and staff are always kind to him and informative for us. Very helpful in getting our shot records together. 👏 Very reasonable prices and always accommodating!!

Good store,not to different from the rest of the petsmart the thing is online they said few in stock at this store and when I got there the employee said they dont stock the item I was looking for. So if you need something right away and online says in stock I would still call first and save yourself a trip.

Went into PetsHotel to board my dog and they turned us away because we had the paperwork from the rescue that we adopted her from and they said they can’t accept it. They also would not give me my money back.
