Great friendly employees. Good job manager. Went to visit the puppies looking to get a very small dog, the guy who helped me was so great, they let you spend some time with the dog you like, you just have to have your driver's license. Also, they offer a payment plan. I had an awesome time holding the little one, they informed me about the breeder and the warranty on your dog. Awesome. 💯 recommended.

There are not enough good things we can say about Animal Kingdom-Arizona Mills location. First and foremost Sean is literally the BEST! From start to finish he was increible. So thorough, knowledgeable, helpful, kind and communicative. We purchased our little guy, Franklin from this location a few weeks ago and he's incredible. The best dog we've ever had and such a great puppy. He's happy, healthy and exactly what we wanted. Phoebe and the entire staff are also SO wonderful. What a great experience this was for our family. Can't recommend this place enough!

Came in late one day as we were browsing the mall, wasn't expecting to go home with one but we couldn't resist how cute this lil pug was! The two colored eyes were impossible to not notice, and the playful, cuddly, loving nature was too much! The entire hour we were here she refused to leave our lap! Came back the next morning to take her home! Staff was incredible and so thoughtful the entire time!

I was hesitant to get a dog at a store like this, but my husband and I were looking for a puppy and couldn’t help but walk in and look at the different puppies that they had available. Peggy helped us find the right puppy for us, the whole process was seamless and we were given a lot of helpful information throughout the process. We’ve had our little fur baby for almost 4 months and couldn’t be happier. She is very healthy and we are extremely happy with our decision😊

Animal Kingdom is a great place to buy a puppy. It is my fiance and my self's first time buying a puppy together and they made the progress great. Freddy is the one who helped us out. He was very up front and informative. Told us all that we needed to know about Havapoo's as well as the cost and the warranties. We decided to go with both warranties in the end.our puppy, Dallas, had a cough and was under weight at the time. They kept him an extra 2 weeks to ensure he was in good condition to take home. They really care over there and would buy a puppy again. HIGHLY Recommend Animal Kingdom if you are buying a pet and when you go there ask for Freddy! I will take his time and 100% take care of you and your new pup! Thanks again!

Check my new kid out guys, his name is Phoenix. I just bought him today, he’s a 2 month old Cavapoo (poodle/ cavalier King Charles spaniel) and he is the absolute best. He was a little pricey but i can tell already he’s worth it. The first day I worked with Freddy as he was the one who introduced me to Phoenix. He was very informal about Phoenix but about dogs in general a was a pleasure to work with. The day of pickup I worked Shawn, he was also very informative and helped me get everything i needed for Phoenix so S/O to those guys but tbh they’re entire staff is pretty cool and knowledgeable.. so if you ever looking for a dog in the Phoenix and surrounding area, hit up animal kingdom in Arizona Mills mall. Great experience, pups are well taken cared of, clean & healthy, great staff, overall great store. I’m extremely happy with my Phoenix.

I love this place. I recently purchased an Auggie (Pembroke Welsh Corgi/Australian Shepherd) her name is Missy and I got excellent service from one of their employees. His name is Freddy, and he goes above and beyond his position title to make everyone including the dogs happy. He's very kind, educated, helpful, and will give you honest facts about the pets you choose. Be prepared though, the prices are highly expensive. However, it is very rewarding in the end and there are lots of financial options available.

This morning we had a scheduled "meet and greet" with a golden doodle puppy that we had all fallen in love with. My daughter is allergic to pet dander and we wanted to make sure that she was not allergic BEFORE putting a down payment on the puppy as they do not allow for refunds on the down payment. We made it very obvious that we were extremely interested in purchasing but needed to make sure that our daughter would not be affected after a few hours. We felt an agreement had been made that they would, at a minimum, notify us if someone was interested in purchasing this puppy before we could make it back or call in to put a down payment on. We waited literally four hours before coming back to purchase this puppy and they had already sold her. Jesse had assured us that he would call BEFORE selling the puppy. We did not receive a phone call and when we walked in he told us that he was just about to call. Poor timing, poor communication and truly overpriced but we were willing to pay the higher cost as we had already fallen in love with this puppy. The moral, ethical, RIGHT thing to do would have been to, at a minimum, call and tell us that they had sold the puppy but they fell very short here.

We had a wonderful experience with Tyler. He met me at the store before his normal work hours and even followed up after we took our puppy home. I highly recommend this place and hope you are fortunate enough to have Tyler help you to0. We named our puppy Tucker. He is potty trained already and can fetch. Tucker is the best puppy, and we are so glad we found Animal Kingdom. Thank you Tyler!!!

I was only walking into this place to see all the cute puppies, but I went home with my own baby ❤️ Freddy is an excellent worker, very informative and will go above and beyond. He made my adoption experience very comfortable and quick. I love my baby Dahlia and appreciate Freddy for being so attentive and making sure her and I were comfortable before the final decision was made. Please do not hesitate to go in, all of them are very nice but ask for Freddy! He’s the best

We got our fur baby here about two weeks ago. Freddy was an absolute saint helping us get our baby Obi. He was very patient and answered every single question we had about our puppy. Went in the middle of the week and saw a baby my husband and I liked..Made a appointment for the weekend to figure everything out. Marc helped us both times and was very nice and professional. The first baby we wanted was cute(she just didn't feel like ours)but we ended up getting another adorable baby.Very busy location. Staff was trying their best with only three people for a hour or two! We had our appointment at 10 but wanted to look at another pup so they quickly made another appointment for us at 12. Come back and she was the one! We are so in love with her already. Our little Emma.She'll be starting puppy classes soon to make sure she's the Goodest of girlsAll the employees were amazing and sweet. Made us feel very welcomed. Will definitely look for Marc next time we go!

Was hesitant to get a puppy from a pet store, but accidentally fell in love with a liver shih tzu after a visit to this location (“just to look” 🙄)I was helped by Sean, Mark and Freddy. They were genuinely super patient and nice throughout my lengthy decision process.Sean suggested I go home overnight as I was unsure and didn’t want to rush into my decision. He said if I thought about this particular puppy all night, then he was the one. (I had been looking for the “one” for months) I did- He was right! I went back the next morning and “Chewbacca” and I have been together ever since.He has turned out to be the best dog I have ever had 💜 He is happy, healthy, and has the best personality! I feel he was treated well in his time here as well, because when we go back to visit he begins to pull on the leash and run to the store entrance once it is in sight.Best decision of my life.

Love my sweet girl! Adopted Pepper (corgi) from here after I unexpectedly lost my precious rescue pup. I decided that adopting a young puppy was better for my lifestyle & family then rescuing an older dog from a shelter like I did before. I came here since I was in the market for a puppy and found my sweet girl, the associate was happy to put us in a room together and let us stay there for as long as we wanted and didn’t make us feel rushed or any pressure at all. Which is great because impulsive and pressure buying these pups is not cool. They worked with me and let me ‘reserve’ my pup while I took the night to really decide if I was ready for a new fur baby. Came back the next day and went through with adopting and the entire process was easy and thorough. They made sure I had all her papers, and informed me of her health. They answered any financing questions and seem to genuinely care about their puppies. The prices are high for these pups but you get what you pay for. my sweet girl is so well behaved, socialized, healthy, happy, and she’s made a wonderful addition to my family. I’m very happy with my decision to adopt from Animal Kingdom and would definitely adopt from here again.

Wow! Where to begin? In 20 - 20 hindsight this AZ Mills Mall' Animal Kingdom provided us with so much more than the competition could. Our experience there will never be forgotten. If you want the BEST in customer service, high quality and value all you need to do is go to Animal Kingdom @ Arizona Mills Mall and ask for "Freddy". Freddy is experienced and knowledgeable. He'll walk you thru the history and paperwork of your pooch - give you helpful characteristics and traits you'll appreciate. He'll explain every step of the process and give you extraordinary follow up as well. (even give you his personal cell #). The man demonstrates a true vocation for matching man's best friend with loving families. We're really happy with Animal Kingdom and the joy they helped bring us. If you want a fun "no pressure" experience go see Freddy. You will not regret it. We even named our Mini Aussiton Freddy (albeit a middle name). We can't wait to go there Oct 31 to see Freddy and his four-legged friends for a trick or treat.No regrets, just joy and happiness...and a little work - ok, fine.Five Stars BIG TIME!

My family and I have looking for our new family member for quite some time now but we have not been able to find the perfect puppy for us. We decided to go to Arizona mills on one of our days off and found our Mochi. We originally intended to just look around but Mochi caught our eyes right when we walked in and we instantly knew we wanted to bring her home. Freddy was amazing! He offered us a lot of help, went over all of our options, and made sure we were doing okay throughout the process. We had a lot of questions and Freddy was so patient to help answer all of them. This place truly cares about helping you find the right companion, we thank Freddy and Animal Kingdom for their compassion and assistance. Mochi is enjoying her new home, can’t get enough of her bursts of zoomies.

The longer they stay, the more traumatic it is for the pup.

Freddy was really helpful and patient with myself and Marie since we are two older women. We gave him a list of what was needed to care for Jenny. I recommend to friends & family to come by the Tempe store when they want a puppy and have Freddy help them out.

First, Happy Belated Birthday Freddy!!!Freddy is nothing less than AMAZING!!! He help my family find our forever love Miss. Aspen. I called Animal Kingdom a week in advance and Freddy set me up with an appointment to visit right when the facility opened. Freddy walked us through everything with meticulous detail. He answered every question and was super patient and knowledgeable. Freddy provided a personal touch; sharing pictures of his puppies, providing me with his business card and personal number in the event I have questions or need assistance as well as his own personal experience adopting a pup from Animal Kingdom. Some areas were closed off. Animals were mostly sleeping or seemed sad/bored. Bring a hat and good shoes! Komodo Dragon provided a freakishly real experience exhibiting his natural predator instincts!

Adopted my baby pug from here, he came home absolutely perfect. Their attention to detail and honest customer service is beyond amazing!!!Jenna was super professional and knew every answer to all my questions, I can honestly say based off having gone to this company’s other locations- THIS LOCATION IS THE BEST! Would give them 10 stars if it was possible!!!!Recommended this place already to everyone, will continue to do so. Would not go anywhere else for a puppy.

This post is long overdue. But last year I came here to possibly find a new addition to the family. After browsing we finally found a Schnauzer. And he has been the perfect fit for our family. We wanted to find a pup that would grow with our kids and he was the perfect fit. We kept him on the food from the store, which has been great because it keeps him healthy and it’s allOrganic. Everyone here at this location has been great, and every trip in here has been a great experience. I have yet to have a bad experience.

We recently got our baby Ollie (Mini Aussie), such an amazing, smart, loving puppy. We had a great experience working with Freddy (Highly recommend you guys ask for him), from the multiple times I had gone into Animal Kingdom, Freddy is very genuine and caring about all the puppies and the customers and wants to ensure that the customer is well aware of any pros and cons on the breed of the puppy to ensure they are a right fit for your family.
