Overall prices are a bit higher up here on the mountain. Produce is here and there. A bit dungeonest, but try to use the local business products.5/25/24Sunday around 11am, to Bashas' for some produce. Usually has plenty bins and 60% are empty. Same as the meat cabinets. Pretty much ALL empty. Spend all the way, 35 miles to Taylor for nothing.

This place has awesome specials and is a relief for having to shop at Walmart or Safeway. I get most of my meat and fresh veggies from here. And don't recommend the dairy products. But the meat is very good and nicely priced.

Im not from here, I'm from Phoenix so this store took me back to the late 80s - the mid to late 90s. It has that tired in desperate need of a remodel feeling. Unfortunately the shiny new Walmart across the street probably wont allow it. I'm sure Bashas is barely hanging on as it is, so a remodel just isnt in the budget. While they are still there enjoy it. The employees are great people, so friendly and still reminiscent of a time without Walmart. I grew up in a small town very much like the Taylor / Snowflake area, and in my opinion those times were better. Everyone should leave Walmart alone and shop exclusively at Bashas. They've got everything you need without 17 ½ aisles of toys. Let's go back to a more simple time, Walmart is so unnecessary.

An old extremely unattractive and extremely rude cashier named Anne G. who works there is shockingly rude to customers. She has severe issues clearly and is very narcissistic. I have never been treated so badly in a store than just now when this person was my cashier. When I told her I wasn't allowed to treat people. That way at my job. She asked me where I work and I said Walmart. And she laughed in my face and she said oh you people are horrible. She needs to be fired immediately!!! She refused to help me mocked me than laughed in my face. I'm beyond angry the way I was just treated. I'm taking this to corporate

I love going to Bashas, I always drive from Showlow to Snowflake/Taylor to go to Bashas. It's the only place I get my meat, and I love the Bakery, too. The store is always clean and employees are always nice.

Bashes has real live butchers on duty to help you with special cuts of meat. Unlike Walmart across the street that doesn't. Walmart on the other hand has different people stocking the meat packages there that aren't butchers.

This store is great! The staff are friendly. The food is good. The bakery is amazing. The deli could use more staff. I've had to wait a good bit to get something. Other than that, A+!!

I was in Bashes today and have never been treated so badly. I have been a customer for over 30 years and have never experienced a checker that was so rude. We were in line and the store was very busy. There were 4 people in line, with carts. The checker finished with the lady in front of us walked around and put up the belt. She said nothing, and closed up the register. We all had to back out with carts and get in another line. I went to the manager and explained what she did. Her name was Carol L and she said in front of me and the manager that no one was in line. That was an out and out lie. Even the people in the next line we had to get into said she was rude. They couldn't believe it either. The manager said he would address it, yeah right!

I love the grocery store up here in Taylor Arizona. Everything is so organized and clean their produce is wonderful and the display is always so immaculate. I love the variety of homemade canned items that you can find there from Eddie's Market in Pinetop. My favorite is the dilled garlic cloves. The selection is very diverse of everything else and always most of the time on hand. Try the store in Taylor Arizona you will love it. Bye-bye Safeway!

This place has changed over the last 2 years. I can feel the politics in the staff. They changed the fries chicken and it feels very tribal. Maybe this is now the culture, but it is noticeable and as a paying customer, I shouldn't have to feel employees political and racial biases. Do better.

Always good service and their fresh foods are just unbeatable. I've bought from Walmart and the food goes bad in a few days and always waxy and it's more expensive. I go to bashas and my lettuce is fresh and green and lasts a week or sometimes two without the wax or the expense. Also, the meat department package deals are perfect for any family.

Some shelves empty, but generally had good supply of items. Staff friendly and checkout was fairly fast. They also had my favorite donut which they generally do not have. Produce section was a little sparse. Managers are very helpful.

It's allot cleaner than it used to be. Fresh everything. Friendly employees great service. A place I definitely look forward to going when I'm in Taylor. They price match so I know I'm getting the best deal and a variety of selections to choose. Great sales deals on fruits n veggies and meats. And if they run out I can always get a raincheck for a later day.
