I would like to take this time to give praise to Safeway and the wonderful and incredibly professional Grocery Manager at this location. I walked in the front door today and looked around for about 3 seconds before the awesome Grocery Manager asked if I needed any help. I enjoy doing volunteer work and this amazing Grocery Manager dropped what they were doing to accommodate my volunteer work. Obviously, I don’t know this Grocery Manager personally; however, they seemed very genuine and sincere. You are all the best! Thank you!

This store is always clean, well lit, and more than ample space. In fact more space than any of the other stores. The selection is awesome and I love the ready to heat main entrees just inside the front door at the west end of the store. I did notice workers starring at me and my cart as I approached the self check but after that I didn’t even notice as I was busy checking and leaving. I love a clean and well stocked store. Thank you Safeway.

I have always enjoyed Safeway. It is right down the street and convenient if I forgot something that I needed. The prices are higher for everyday items, so I tend to head over to Fry's for a majority of my groceries.I don't care to much for the electronic checkouts ... but that is my preference.

Chicken the dog wouldn't even drag in..Chicken purchased at prime dinner time was so old couldn't even eat it with a fork and knife. BEWARE

I'm not sure who is in charge of the deli, or who is in charge if picking groceries for delivery, but this WELL DONE rotisserie chicken being delivered to my doorstep is unacceptable

Always clean and staff are very polite and helpful, shopped here for years, never had aproblem with any aspect. Digital coupons work great, store is clean and well stocked..

Definitely not one of the better Safeway around . Waited at the meat counter over 20 min. to get what we came for in the meat department. By then there was a back up of customers . So frustrating. Seems like on a Saturday they would have more help .

This is for the pharmacy staff: you guys are AMAZING!! Kaleb, Anne, and the 2 female pharmacists (im so sorry I dont know their names 😆) they are always so incredibly nice and ALWAYS get our prescriptions filled in a flash. They are extremely friendly as well. Thank you so much for being so amazing, awesome and kind! ☺️☺️

I always shop here. I needed a cake. Unfortunately they didn't have the design I wanted, I spoke to Tangela and told her the toys I had for it. She told me if I would let her design it and be free to create. I left it in her hands and she did not disappoint. My son loved his cake.

Clean, friendly, and well stocked. The bakery is so delicious inside. I love to get a slice of cake and a coffee at Starbucks. We have a low amount of cafe here, so this hits the spot. Such delicious well made pastry ♡

Bad, bad, bad, bad, WATCH YOUR DATES!! They have items on the shelves every single time I go in which are expired!! Sometimes by years!!! I have spoken with every manager and I get....."oh we are working on that....we are sorry" blah blah blah I'm sorry we're sorry I AM SO TIRE OF HEARING SORYY THIS SORRY THAT!! See photos....with expired dates. I was there on April 8 th I think

Every time checking out digital coupons as well as sale items mess up. Last time previous customer left without finishing because he didn't get response on a sale item. The cashier, super nice, rang me uponbut on other customer acct. Ughh, was rung up 3 times to correct. Get outside notice I was still overcharged 8.00 then had to walk back in. A few days later I pulled out sale roast half the weight must have been the fat hidden on bottom of package. Didn't have receipt anymore so didn't bring it back.

This location is so clean and organized, great produce, never packed and my husband brought me a beautiful rose just beach that is still perfect a week later. I absolutely love this store.

After 2 years and several messages to this store, we no longer shop here even though it is our neighborhood store. This is the most poorly managed Safeway I have ever seen and that's saying something after having shopped exclusively Safeway for over 40 years. We'll be shopping at Walmart in the future. I sincerely hope that the Safeway Corporate office starts paying attention to the management of this store.

My husband and I frequent here and never had any issues. Everyone is always so nice. But I gotta shout out to Jayden for his above and beyond customer service! I just called to check and see if the Starbucks kiosk had their Halloween cups out yet and he put me on a brief hold and went to go ask them. I know he didn't need to do that but he did and I really appreciate it! Thanks Jayden!!! You're awesome!

Evil store who preys on those who dont load coupons to their accoubt before entering the store. They block your phone signal so you would be forced to use their wifi. No thanks. I just will start shopping at winco

We’ve been using DUG (Drive Up and Go) for several years but no more. Once again, we received spoiled meat from this store which has happened four times in the last year. Orders are always picked early so things ordered from the Deli that aren’t available until after 10 am (like chicken) are substituted or “Out of Stock.” Why provide a service if it can’t be managed properly?

My partner and I usually use the self check out when running errands, but the last 3 times at least we’ve noticed the self check out host(s) blatantly staring us down and nobody else while we make our purchases and continue to stare until we leave. We do not appreciate being singled out by them every single time (it’s usually the older Caucasian lady with blonde wavy hair) when doing so. I could understand it more if they were monitoring everyone else alongside us but it’s been too obvious for it to be that way. If this happens again we will be taking her/their names down and calling corporate. It feels very discriminatory.

I went to the Waddell and Litchfield location. The cashier (Carolyn) was super rude and unprofessional. She rolled her eyes when I questioned the price of the clipped items I purchased and the total amount…She said the store was closing and she was tired and instructed me to please review my receipt after I paid . A total of 187 dollars for a 22 items on sale! I kindly and politely asked her to please review the receipt as it seemed a lot to me, being and experienced shopper and her response was. “There’s people in line and unfortunately that’s the price of groceries now a days”.. Frustratedly, I left the store and reviewed my receipt. Cashier Carolyn charged me for 22 watermelons!! Of course I rushed back in the store to speak to the manager who wasn’t much more sympathetic, however He did give me a refund. I was overcharged 150 dollars! Needless to say I will be calling the Director of the store, Larry Hrovat to inform him how rude and unprofessional these employees are. Everyone makes mistakes but to be down right rude and nasty is uncalled for. Carolyn idk who made you made or why you are so bitter w life or your hate your job but you have some serious self reflecting to do and if your that miserable w your position and employment or w your life then my advice would be to change it! But please be kinder I promise you w your attitude you will bark up the wrong tree and I truly feel sorry for you when that day comes.

Very nice store, floor was very sticky by the grapes. The gentleman helping me with chicken was very nice! Wished me a blessed day! That was really nice. The lady at the deli counter offered me a sample, very kind. I wish I would of gotten their names.It was a nice outing for a change! Lots to choose from!!

The store is usually very clean. All of the staff in the meat dept are sweet. Manny the manager very sweet guy as well and always has a smile and so polite. I can't stand the self checkouts they installed not my thing. Shelves are usually stocked and staff don't fight you with rain checks. I wish this one has a sushi bar in it as I'm not a fan of Starbucks.

why would they have a section for organic vegetables but not fruit? so strange. Have to hunt for all of the organic fruit and the organic berries are by the front door not even in the fruit section... very frustrating

We usually go to another store, but we were closer to Safeway and just needed to pick up a few items for someone that is sick and they had all the items we needed and were out of there in less than ten minutes. Very bright and clean atmosphere.
