Paid $3.95 to be able to get groceries within 30 mins as the next available time was the next day and my husband was going to stop on his way home to get items for dinner. Everything but 1 item, mayo, was out of stock. I ordered 6 items. So needless to say I paid over $9.00 for a small jar of mayo. Called the store and the lady said there is nothing she could do but refund the mayo IF my husband brought it back but not the $3.95. She was extremely RUDE!! And we will not be shopping here again!

Your cashiers leave a lot to be desired. Lack manners and peopleskills. Ask for service whether to bewaited on or a plastic bag you geta rude smart answer.

Pretty Clean. Friendly service. Wasn't impressed with produce, but they may be waiting on a delivery truck. Also I will say I spent 55 bucks on 2 meals for 3 people (bacon wrapped pork chops & salmon). Not the best but not the worst pricing. I was informed by customer service, that they have an app that I can load digital coupons onto, much like Fry's, to save more money while shopping. However I would prefer to just be able to use those same coupons by scanning the membership card. On top of that my phone does not get service in their store (T-Mobile Network). I also ordered at the Starbucks located at the front of the store. Coffee was on point however the two ladies working, were not very knowledgeable of their products. You may want to know exactly what you want to order before doing so.

I love this Safeway. I only shop at this location. The store is clean and well managed. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable regarding their departments. The cold prepared foods are made with care and my husband loves the California rolls. Great savings and a better fuel rewards system than Fry's.The meat counter goes out of their way to help and get you what you want. The butcher Dave is knowledgeable regarding cuts of meat and what cuts are good in what dishes.Love love this store!

I have discovered an amazing donut at Safeway! This cream filled donut with chocolate icing is super delicious. The wonderful baker puts plenty of cream inside, which I love, and the chocolate icing is just the perfect amount 😋 I have one at least twice a month for a treat after grocery shopping 😉

Went to this Safeway to pick up medication at the pharmacy and decided to shop. Good selection, decent prices and excellent sales. The only problem we had is that we were missing a bag when we got home. It wasn't a huge deal, but it had tomatoes, food for our cat and some perishable items in it. Oh well. It happens.

The little kiosk gas station is my hidden gem here in Surprise. Monster energy drinks are reasonably priced. The staff noticed I came in every morning and asked what flavors I preferred. The next morning my suggestions were in the refrigerator waiting for me.

The store is always clean with friendly staff. The fruit and vegetables are much better here than Walmart for sure.Only issue is their insanely expensive. I only go there for my fruit/ yogurt cups and a few lunch items for to last four days and I have never spent under sixty dollars!

Usually, I have amazing customer service at Safeway but lately there’s multiple times where I have to ask a worker to find a cashier to ring me up because all they have open is self check out. I shouldn’t have to be forced to use self check out. There should be at least one cashier available at all hours of operation.

Nice place to get groceries in the surprise area. Well stocked and friendly staff. They have a Starbucks as well so you can get a coffee on the go. They have a gad station as well so this is pretty much a one stop shop.

Shelves being constantly filled, floral designer was very helpful in spite of all floral displays she was creating, polite cashier despite the number of people in line. A wonderful shopping experience.

This store has lots of self-checkouts and my deals that I added through the app did not all work. Eventually an associate from customer service took me to the counter for her to finish ringing up my purchase to help the one cashier who was running from one self-checkout to another fixing issues. The app also did not work in the store after a few minutes and the CS associate said it was likely because I wasn't on the store WiFi. I never have this problem at my local Safeway in another part of the state. Safeway is my favorite grocery store and I usually never have this many issues at any other Safeway. At least the employees were very nice.
