Today was only my second time in here. However, walking in the door, I immediately recognized this store as "Fred Meyer" back where I grew up. Sure enough, walking around I quickly noticed the "Kroger's" name on a lot of products. Honestly, I just felt like home. Staff were cool, although I didn't deal with them much. Looked like there were some good deals at least compared to where I come from. I don't have a lot to compare around Phoenix metro. I'm still very new to the area. Place was pretty clean from what I saw. I will go back undoubtedly.

The only Frys to refuse to make food. Ridiculous. It takes 5 minutes to make wedges and the cook refuses to make them. Worst customer service ever. I offered to buy the whole batch they would cook and even then the 5 minutes would be just too much for her. Well I guess when it comes to employees you get what you pay for.

On 4-21-2024(Sunday) I purchased someSushi, from the sushi bar at FRY'S MARKET at Waddell and Litchfield inSurprise. There was no delay in eating the sushi. I live only a few miles from the store. I developed a case of food poisoning from that sushi, I had not eaten anything before the sushi. BEWARE OF BUYING FROM THE SUSHI BAR!

Good store Starbucks is amazing and staff super nice and helpful! However, the 2 stars are for the 5 times i complained about their awful worker named Danielle. She is in costomer service with red ish hair works days. She is so rude not only to people shopping but her co workers too. There is so much that happened but she still works there which makes my returns if any a nightmare. Aside from that employee everyone and everything is great!

Most of my grocery shopping I do here. Great place, great prices and helpful employees. I have to also say the place is very clean makes shopping comfortable to your senses.

I do Insta cart, This is my favorite store! The new manager said he was going to get me a radio so that I could talk to grocery for the things not on the shelf😂.This store literally goes out of their way to make you feel like family. I appreciate that.

If you ever need to get gas outside of the gas attendant hours, do not stop here! Apparently when there isn’t an employee there they shut down their system or at least slow it down so bad that you can’t get gas. This is the third time I’ve tried to get gas outside of the attendant business hours. Of course it wouldn’t work, stood there for forever as the system ever so slowly finally told me it’s unavailable and on top of that they held $150 from my account even though it kept saying the system was unavailable. Do not stop here!!

This Fry's used to be top notch with customer service. It has really gone down hill. Was in the customer service line and the poor employee was dealing with management not assisting him when he was calling for help multiple times to different people. I was in line 15 minutes of watching him get no help and the line behind me was about 8 people waiting. I left without ever being assisted. Also we have had many very bad experiences in the deli area also. Corporate needs to be made aware this store is in desperate need of new management that is about the customer.

Fry's is my favorite grocery store because their products are priced fairly, they always have items on sale, and they offer reward points which one can redeem when buying gas.

Clint, Manager you are rude and very disrespectful. You and your team went and tried to move the Bacon once I notified you what was advertised. Criminal if I say so. I am sure if I was not a manority you would have honored it not try to have your team remove the bacon from where it was originally advertised. Shame on you. Racist place shame on Fry's

This is a nice Fry's but the one on Camelback and Litchfield is still superior. The produce section is nice, a big floral section, salad bar and sushi too. It's clean and well laid out. They are not very attentive to the parking lot and it's a big risk to park, you may get a dent in your car from unattended carts that are left in the lot.

Its been a few years since I've been to Fry's. I had been to Fry's previously and didn't quite like the overall experience.I had some gift cards from work so I figured I'd buy a few things my family would need for the week. I was pleasantly surprised. This store clean and well organized. I found everything I was looking for in my preferred brands at competitive prices. I look forward to bringing my business to Fry's in Surprise.

VERN, the front end manager, single handedly saved my day when he provided EXC customer service regarding a $100 gift card issue that was plagued with issues, errors, and invalid from the time I bought it! Mastercard gift cards are TERRIBLE. VERN corrected the issue, made me whole again, and had my back on the whole screwed-up situation. Upper management FAILED. VERN saved the day! Only because of Vern, will I continue to spend $1200 to $1500 per month at this store!!

I hate self-checkout. There are no other lanes open this Saturday morning. There is only one of the big self checkout lanes open. Last Saturday there were no grocery carts available. The grocery carts stick together.

Not sure what the issue is with the staff but had an employee sit there and stare at my family while we checked out until the anxiety overwhelmed my partner and caused them to flee the store. Unacceptable that your employees can't grasp Not making people uncomfortable.

When at Fry’s this afternoon (Saturday) the deli only had one associate working and she was amazing. Long lines but Rebecca was friendly and had the best customer service I’ve ever seen in this store. Thanks Rebecca!

Probably one of the more unfriendliest Fry’s I’ve been to. I try but every time the employees prove me right. I use the self scan when I don’t have many items to purchase. I purposely use the one in the front right next to the employees because I’m watched, religiously.😒 I’m never greeted, and today I had the pleasure of hearing employees talk about their relationship woes and why x,y, z doesn’t do well in their relationships. Was never told, “thank you”, “have a nice day” nothing. Takes 2 seconds to greet someone. I purposely rang my items up taking my time because I literally heard them say it to others except me. Bogus. I go out of my way to go to the Fry’s in Sun City. The atmosphere is much more welcoming.

I don't have no problem going to the grocery store I love Fry's but today the cashier there was no one bagging groceries so I started bagging groceries she's just got both belts going and it's just smashed everything I had I was just a little disappointed in today

Love my local Fry's. It's huge, has way more than Safeway or Albertsons, the employees I encounter are friendly and helpful. Easy self checkout process. They do a good job at this location! 👏🏻

I stopped by this location this morning for my weekly grocery shopping. I had a full cart and noticed only register 18 and self check outs were open. I went over to register 18 and didn't find anyone, so I ended up at self check out. Cool. Not a problem. The problem is that three employees stood at the front watching me, two of which were on their cell phones, scan and bag everything myself from a stacked cart and not once offered assistance with bagging. I would think it's basic customer service, manners, and just human decency to see a customer with so many items and offer to assist in some sort of way. I mentioned it to them and was met with immediate attitude by the cashier at 18 that she was there. No ma'am, you were not and when you finally walked up you were scrolling through your cell phone. So basically you want a paycheck for doing nothing while the customer pays the higher grocery prices, checks themselves out, and bags all of their items? I might as well have gone to Wal-Mart. I'm fine checking myself out, but the fact that 3 employees stood there, two of them on their phones, with no offer of assistance or even a good morning.... man, what a world.

The shorter guy at Starbucks is incredibly apathetic. No customer service skills whatsoever. The chicken has also been smelly both times we purchased some; however, I will say they offer refunds so that's nice. The rest of the store, employees, and produce are great.

Never enough checkers. I have to go looking for a manager to open up another checkout. That's 'Every' trip! No carts available the last 3 times. I use a cane and have to wait until they bring some. We have had to bag our groceries almost every time. Idon't remember getting a paycheck from Fry's. Hmmmmm!I just wanted to add this today. A few days ago, I went to this Fry's again and I first want to mention that I am disabled and use a cane. My total bill was $204.00 and I had to BAG ALL OF MY GROCERIES! Where's MY paycheck? Need I say more.
