My doctor prescribed zepbound (wegovy). My Walgreens said it was backordered through April 5th. Because I needed a continuing dose I called Bashas to check on availability. They claimed they had the Wegovy so I would have to call the doctor to change the prescription from Walgreens to the Wegovy. Did that . 2 hours of calling and found the Surprise pharmacy that said they had in stock. I talked with Juanita and explained I would be paying cash as insurance does not cover. She said that's expensive stuff. I said availability was more important than price. If I can't get it, free is too much. After two more calls, I drove an hour to their pharmacy. Got to the counter. Gave my name. The Rx is placed on the counter. Show them my Good Rx coupon for $1058.00. They said they don't honor that price. Paid $1428.90. Went outside and called GoodRx. Said they would call the store and call me back. While I waited I contacted another Bashas and by chance they just got some in stock. I asked the price and they answered $1,100 just above the GoodRx price. Same company. Same drug. Same wholesaler . Same manufacturer . She explained each pharmacy manager decides the selling price. GoodRx called me back and said the pharmacy would not cooperate. I called the pharmacy, talked with the pharmacy manager and got nothing but blue sky. He said "aren't you the one who said price doesn't matter" ? Not what I said.Ended the call with "go to hell". Fry's and Walgreens from now on. I knew Eddie Basha. Shame on these small minded games. Got me once. Never again.

I want to be clear this review is for the pharmacy. I do enjoy the store itself very much, but 4 months ago I started using their pharmacy and each time I had come to the store for my prescription it had not even been filled even tho I called it in a day or 2 ahead each time. 3 times that happened to me so this time I called it in and called again the next day just to make sure that it was actually filled and ready to be picked up, I was told yes that it's ready and on the shelf. I went in and for the 4th time I ask for my prescription and it has not even been filled even tho I was told specifically it was ready, at this point I'm getting pretty aggravated at the situation on ongoing issues. I turned to my girlfriend who was standing next to me and just said " this is the 4th time in a row I've had an issue" the pharmacist(tall balding white dude w/glasses) apparently overheard me say that and decided to make a snide comment that I can feel free to transfer to another pharmacy as he was walking away. Extremely rude... I understand things happen which is why I want upset the first couple times but 4 times in a row gives me the right to be a little upset and to be talked to like that was infuriating. This man does not know how to run a pharmacy nor does he know decent manners. And its not just to me as my girlfriend usually picks up my prescription and has made several comments about how rude he is to her when she comes in. If you choose to use this pharmacy you should unfortunately expect to have to deal with some attitude from this man

Great price on meat selections. However inflation has hit Bashas particularly hard. For most staple and brand name items they are more expensive. I typically just shop the sales, though over the years I’ve spent $10’s of thousands of dollars at this particular store as it’s so close to my home. Staff is incredibly friendly.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS STORE!!! The employees are amazing. Everybody are always helpful & very kind. Produce & meat are always fresh. I have a toddler who loves to go here because he his loved by the cashiers. I hope management realizes how great their staff are at this store

The deli meat lady was superb. Helped me with 3 different meats 2 cheeses and 2 salads. Was super nice and fast. Was a great experience. Don't shop here to often but was glad I stopped in. Thank you for having great customer care

I generally frequent a different local chain store, stopped here today for a deal I saw in an ad. I was pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness of the store, stocked items and courteous staff from stockers to the register! Found a few items that are not available at my usual spot for the family to try! I was not disappointed with this visit and definitely recommend stopping in more regularly!

So glad we found out you can buy fresh pizza dough straight from the deli! We used to order pizza from here, it is awesome, but once we started getting the dough, we've had so many fun make-your-own pizza nights with the kids. The husband just finished making a pizza oven in the backyard, so I see MANY more pizza nights in the future!

FROM NY . Bashas’ has the best quality meats anywhere in Az, at ridiculously low sale prices. Better than a prime meat store in my. Their bakery is the best of all the supermarkets. Cakes are excellent and donuts are always fresh. You can order cakes and they will have it for you. Anyone who complains about their meat has to be brainless. It’s not true at all. Been shopping since 2012. This is like having your own private butcher. Best prices on best cuts of beef. The sales can’t be beat. Never one bad or tough piece of meat. The Italian sausages are high quality to bake or grill. Their sale shrimp prices are the lowest. . 5 STARS. If you buy your meat anywhere else you get ripped off prices and tough cuts

Quiet, never too busy since it's kind of tucked away. Parking lot can be a pain to navigate on the west end; especially if you're not used to the blind corners behind the bank, the carwash/gas station, and the small shopping center behind them. Store's great though.

I wasnt hassled nor did I feel threatened in any way b/c of a handicap. They don't have a good meat selection & prices much higher than surrounding stores.Their produce can be not as fresh but their bakery is fabulous especially for an in-store.The people behind the deli & meals to-go are probably the best part of my day when I have the opportunity to do business with them.Glad they are close to me, the atmosphere welcoming (best music ever).

Very clean! Products are arranged nicely .People will help you find what you need . We Love the meat department! We have had the best steaks and ground sirloin burger at really cheap prices. Much lower than Sam's club or Walmart. Do try their meats you will get the best around. The meat counter man is very friendly and will help you get what you need.

I’ve visited this store multiple times over the last 3 years and it never fails, they are out of staple products. Sale prices are reasonable but many daily staples are priced higher than competitors. The staff are all friendly which is great but doesn’t make up for other issues. As an AZ native I wish it was a better experience.

Never been to a bashas. Stopped by on our way home from work. Store was clean, layout was different and confusing for a first timer. Staff was friendly and helpful. Had to sign up for a card though in order to not be charged double at checkout. Did not care for that since most other stores even without a card charge usually only a few $ more. So don't shop here unless you have card!!

This is a gem because most folks don't know how to shop it properly. Yes many of their everyday prices are higher on average, however, their meat and bakery are tough to beat. We shop their specials and stock the freezer with their meat deals. Their meat seems to have a better flavor than other grocery stores and their butchers will custom carve for me. Their baked goods are legendary in Arizona for good reason. Doughnuts, cakes, cookies all are delicious. This location is hit or miss with their deli. It is usually fairly quiet and I can get in and out quickly. The staff is friendly so expect to be engaged in conversation.

I like discovering new items that I being a Senior citizen may treat myself. Sales,discounts,and the cashiers are oh so courteous and friendly. The lady that brings in the carts,will ho as far as to offer you one. The experience is great. Some items may be more costly than other groceries, but the attitudes make the difference. 4🌟for clean store and fresh fruit.

This store never has more than 1 checker. Although it's not my go to store for big shopping, I do go there frequently for items I run out of or specials they offer. Stock is plentiful, and produce is good, meat is fine but prices are normally not very competitive and service is non-existent. You'd think they would be profitable enough to at least have two checkers and someone at the service desk.

Very clean and easy to find everything and friendly staff . I like Bashas best because it's Arizona local this seems like a newer store because you see the outside and it doesn't have that old grocery store look and even the inside has a newer feel too it .

Good location. Love the discount donuts 🍩 on Fridays. Buy a dozen, get a half dozen free.....nice deal if you're buying for work or a group. Super busy in the mornings because of the Starbucks, but otherwise a quite store.

One of my favorite supermarkets in a surprise area. It is always neat and clean. The staff is friendly. The produce section always has a great selection of fresh fruit and vegetables.

Every time I have come to this location Tera is always so sweet to me and goes the extra mile to help me EVERY time i have been here. Quality customer service is hard to find anywhere nowadays so to have someone who knows how to deliver it consistently is a valuable teammate! Thanks for being awesome!

Bashas you were the only store that had my mom's famous dressing fixes I mean you had it all and I was preparing my self to go store hopping looking for these salad ingredients instead we were able to just go home. A million thanks to your friendly staff and customers. It's such a family atmosphere in that store.

I was especially impressed with the cashier. A customer ahead of me had left one of his bags at checkout. She noticed and immediately grabbed it and ran to the parking lot to find them.She was back in a couple of minutes after delivering the missed bag.

This is the nicest Bashas I have ever been in, by FAR. The store is clean and huge, with a cafe and lots of seating, as well as a kids corner. Their produce is very fresh and the employees were kind and helpful, and handled being busy well. Excellent store.

Rude cashier's. Employees aren't helpful and manager does nothing to remedy the employee issues there so I shop at fry's now. Take your money elsewhere, nothing worse than feeling you're a bother to cashier's with bad attitudes who apparently don't like or value their job. Shame on Basha's for letting this continue. The general manager does nothing either...

They had one good bunch of celery on sale for the 88 cents, but had to run to Winco to get more for the same price and looked good. Would like to shop more at Bashas but too pricey for fixed income. I like family owned, but employee owned works better for my budget.
