Superior is a small town surrounded by rugged desert landscape. Its heyday was decades ago, but who knows? It could come alive again. That being said, this Save Money Market appears to be serving its town well with friendly service, reasonably priced meats and Hatch Green Chilies! Whoo Hoo!I drove out from Chandler today to get a bag of freshly roasted chilies. It's nearly 10 degrees cooler out here and a pleasant scenic drive as well. If you're in Arizona, Superior is worth a visit.

I had not been to this store before but I was impressed. It's a local home town grocery store but it's well stocked, clean and the people working there are helpful and very nice folks. I can't imagine someone going in there and not finding what they need. My total score for them is AWESOME Man ! They are on main street so check them out.

Skinny aisles, made skinnier by scattered back stock. The prices aren't great, and many things you can get at the dollar store are over $3. Stores like this perpetuate poverty by preying on marginalized communities and charging exorbitant prices in food deserts.

I enjoy the fact that this family owned and operated, all staff is super friendly, and the only place in town that I could find that sells my favorite vodka (City Vodka) keep up the great work guys..

I love this lil market!! Driving thru the area and saw they had the New Mexico Hatch chili so had to stop for some! 👍🏽Small hometown store with everything you could possibly need!! 😷❤

This place is awesome. They have so many different types and cuts of meat at the best prices I've seen In quite sometimes. They even offer a variety of pre-seasoned meats if you're not too into doing that sort of thing. They fire roast green chilies and offer fresh and frozen in an amazing variety of sizes and heat levels. You know if you like your post meal colon blow to resemble that of a flame thrower but sized down to your toilet seat. There's plenty of fresh fruit available... Some I couldn't identify if you paid me, but that game can be fun too... What is it how do you prepare it and will it be good or make me want to vomit... they even offer not so fresh products at a generous cut rate for those who like to live in the edge. Lots of all the regular everyday grocery stores stuff in between. The pet food variety leaves a lot to be desired, but I can't imagine too many pet snobs shopping there... I may be wrong tho, I do love to go there when the opportunity shall arise. They have an amazing staff Including, but thankfully not limited to my awesome neighbor ;). Even if you're not from around here it's a place to be seen. It's easy to look right past, but the treasures inside would please any sort of food enthusiast. I still dream about that meat section and the scent of freshly roasted green chilies keeps me warm on these cold lonely nights. They have cigarettes check cashing slush puppies and many many more things that keep this unassuming hole the wall hidden gem of a place going even in these treacherous turbulent times of turmoil (you like that :)) if you're even passing thru staying over moving in or just lookie loo'ing make this you're number 1 stop.. well. Umber 2 you'll prob need gas at the circle k first.. then come on by and see what my dreams are made of... Just don't take the caps off the water jugs... There is surveillance and nobody like sticky fingers...I doubt you'd want to tour the correctional facilities this place has to offer ..better than losing the fingers I would assume, but let's keep it nice and honest. Come on by bring your pocket book and your appetite and see what you can't create with the help of this little small town super hero.... It takes a lot to stand up to wal mart and they've managed to find the right formula to do just that. That itself if worth the look see.

Walk into the 1960's and enjoy a long-lost feeling. The Save Money Market has tightly-crammed aisles and shelves that certainly won't let you share the space with too many other shoppers let alone allow two carts to pass one another. I find this somewhat comforting compared to some of the fancy chain grocery stores of today that feature soft mood lighting and even carpeting. I feel like there is so much more to choose from at Save Money Market, though I'm probably tripping, right? Still, I think you'll dig being in there for a short while if for no other reason than to experience a flash from the past.Take a look at the little office as you enter the store. Only someone with an amazing memory could run a store like this and order so many products. I honor their ability.

Been shopping here for over 40 years off and on. Great community grocery store, with owners who are invested in their customers and community.The Hing family have always been great advocates and an integral business family for the Hard Rock mining families of Superior. Chorizo & Carne the best and don't forget the saladitos.Great prices, customer service and people. 👊🏽Great family owned business who've provided a great service for a hard working community for over 80 yrs!

It wouldn't be fair for me to review this grocery market. This is the ONLY Grocery store in Superior, AZ. So it is a small town store with limited c.s. hours, only one checkout line, only one cashier, closed on Sunday. If you live in Superior and you really need groceries you have to drive to Globe, AZ to shop at Fry's or Walmart.

The service was painfully slow at the cash out. but as I stood there perplexed at what was taking so long.? I realized that all the people in the store new one another, and so everybody was catching up with each other, and I found myself in a real life Mayberry moment... and because I'm from the big city, that in itself was very refreshing.

The people who work here are all very friendly and welcoming. Also, the layout of the aisles were neat with well labeled signs. It's kind of like a mini-Walmart with everything that you need like pet food, cleaning supplies, and food- everything except clothing.I do like how they also have namebrands that are not so popular here as well, so you have more of a small business feel. For example, I tried some of the fresh squeezed OJ.The pricing is affordable, especially for the frozen meat. They also have a small selection of fruits and basic veggies.Cashier was quick and friendly at checkout.

Kind of weird. They had stuff stacked in the middle of at least 3 aisles so if you wanted something at the other end of that aisle, you had to go down a different aisle and then come back to the one you were at. Other than that. Friendly cashier, fruit and veggies were in good shape.

I live in Gold Canyon, but happened to be in Superior and stopped in to pick up some OJ. This store looks small on the outside, but when you walk in the front door - WOW! It has everything, and then some. Big bags of roasted Hatch chilis, specialty meats, large containers of spices (at great prices) plus a good selection of the usual grocery stuff. I'm planning to make a regular trip to this store monthly - their prices are better than our local Bashas. Staff is also super-nice. Worth the trip!

This review from me stands the test of time. While newer freezers and some rearranging has been done it is still the BEST little market.Old fashion grocery that is exactly what it says " saves money". Best meat and prices anywhere. And when you check out you get the kindest most generous ladies to do it. The owners are great too. They not only do a great job running the store but love and support the community too.

Isles were a little crowded. It reminded me of the grocery store I worked in back in 1978! Good looking meat selection. I scored some nice beef ribs to throw in the smoker that was nice and meaty, at a decent price.
