It's awesome to find a groomer that is friendly and communicativr with both pets and people! Not everyone shared that skillset. We moved to this groomer last year after a series of unfortunate visits with another local groomer. Couldn't be happier! They listen well to what we want and do a great job every time. Reasonable rates, and my dogs seem happy and content each time. Highly recommend!

Our wonderful groomer of over 20 years retired. The person she sold the business to didn't do the same quality grooming that we were used to. We checked on NextDoor and found rave reviews of Sun City Grooming. I now get to add my 5 Star review to the others. We decided to trust our Bruno to them for one grooming to see how they did. Jasmine asked all the right questions and was very personable. When I went to pick Bruno up, he was chatting with the other poochies in the grooming area and looked PERFECT. I told Jasmine "That's how he SHOULD look after a grooming. We will be claiming Sun City Grooming as our permanent groomer.

I cannot say enough great things about this place!! It was my dog Jack's first grooming, and my first experience with them. They did not disappoint - absolutely went above and beyond with Jacks "spa day". Had a shampoo, nails trimmed, and teeth cleaned. Super friendly staff, honestly just as sweet as can be. You can tell they really love animals and the job they do. Highly recommend 10 stars will be going here from now on. They made a customer for life!!!

I have been looking for groomers close to me, and this is the one! I took my dog camping with me a couple weekends ago, and he decided while we were on the paddle board to jump into the lake. Couple that with swimming in his backyard doggie pool, I couldn't get him smelling clean. I brought him here and not only were they able to make him smell good, they also got him feeling super soft!

Sun City Grooming was awesome! Everyone in there was so nice and helpful! They were able to get me in on one days notice and gave my boy his first real haircut. I was nervous with having a doodle, but he looks so handsome! You can tell they have been in the industry for awhile because they know exactly what they are doing and they are fairly priced! They treated my boy like the little king he is! I will definitely be going back!

I was so pleased with Sun City Grooming. This was out first time taking our 3 dogs in. Im' so impressed by the staff and the cleanliness of the facilty. What a wonderful, kind environment. My old rescue dog has had a tough life and he is in a good deal of pain. They not only made him handsome and sweet smelling but he was socializing with the other dogs (and he is usually afraid)Thank you! He looks great

I have gone to Dorothy for around 10 years with my 3 Standard PoodlesThe best ever! She is so patient and kind to my fur kidsMy 2 14 yr old seniors have crossed the rainbow bridge, but I have my 2 yr old Standard and a new 4 month old Standard pup. They both love her and will always go to Dorothy .My dogs look beautiful and people take photos of them all the time!

Having called and visited at least six groomers during the past 14 months since rescuing my 24-pound Maltese mix and being refused service because he was too anxious, I had given up the search and resigned myself to living with a woolly boy. Then I chanced upon Sun City Grooming. When I called, Dorothy assured me that Cindy would be happy to try grooming Tucker, and I made an appointment.We were greeted happily, and Tucker willing accompanied Cindy to the room where the pets are bathed. When he came out, all clean and fluffy, she began clipping him as I watched from behind a screen in the waiting area. How calm he was! I was stunned, because other groomers who had tried gave up after a few minutes.When it was time to trim his nails, Chastity helped by holding him in her arms, and the job was finished with little squirming.These three ladies are an amazing team, and I highly recommend them to anyone searching for an excellent grooming establishment!

brought my Chihuahua to Sun City Groomers for a simple nail trim. When I got there, I handed my dog to the groomer and then left to go around the corner to get cash. When I returned five minutes later, the groomer said "he poo'd himself and pee'd himself and so they had to give him a bath. (What?) and then handed me my dog and said keep an eye on him and make sure he is not licking his paws. (Again, What?).I have been taking my dog to get his nails trimmed for five years. I have never had an experience like I had at Sun City Grooming. When I got home, my dog went to his bed and stayed there. He would not eat, barely walked and was clearly traumatized. Two days later, I went to Sun City Grooming to find out what happened to my dog. He was a happy active dog when I brought him in and a lethargic dog who would barely eat and barely walked when I took him home.Had they warned me that they cut the dog's nails too short and to be careful with him, I would have understood. However, nobody said anything to me at all, just "he poo'd himself and had to give him a bath".They simply said to me two days later when I went there to find out what happened was "it was a nail trim" and said "he didn't walk when he came in." Really? CAREFUL WHERE YOU TAKE YOUR DOG FOR GROOMING. THEY ARE NOT ALL THE SAME. My dog was traumatized for two days so far.

The best groomers in the valley With out a doubt. I have seen them work with the animals beautifully compared to any other groomers I have met. If you live in the west valley I highly suggest you do not miss out on getting your dog groomed here! The owner and groomers are the absolute best here!

Great place this is where I take my dog on a regular basis whenever he needs something done they always do a good job and they don’t kennel the dogs they let them play. I love that part. Would highly recommend.

I rescued a small dog from a woman that couldn't find it's owner. Dog had no chip no collar no identification what's so ever. He looked like he'd never been groomed long nails and he needed a good bath. I stopped here and spoke with Dorothy, she was so very kind. She said they had one opening the very next day. I grabbed it, and this place is magnificent. He looks so much better. They did tell me when I picked him up that he had been groomed before they could tell. Still need to name him. Thank you Sun City Grooming the entire staff was wonderful..Trying to load before and after pictures.

Love Sun City Groomer! They really listen to my older dog's needs when I leave him there for grooming. He's shy despite his size. He's happy when I pick him up & always looks beautiful. It's clean, they run on time, and able to accommodate my schedule for appts. Highly recommend Dorothy!

The vet techs always complain that my dog howls like they are killing him when they trim his nails. At Sun City Grooming with Chasity just some quick buzzing, (only one small yelp), and his nails were done. 👍🏼

I just wanted to give a huge thank you to the crew at Sun City Grooming. Due to the pandemic we stoped taking my Golden Doodle to the groomer. Because of this he was in really bad shape even though we tried to groom him our selves. He was very nervous/skittish due to the lack of socialization( yes our fault, however due to med reasons we had to stay home). My experience was absolutely amazing with Sun City grooming from the moment I called to schedule an appointment. I explained our situation and there was no judgment. Dorothy came up with a game plan and was so understanding and willing to help in our situation. When we arrived our dog had to have a muzzle on. But by the time I picked him up he was without a muzzle and friendly with everyone. Not to mention he looked amazing. Their dedication and passion for dogs truly showed. Again thank you so much.
