Great products. Different items at various times. I saw Flan today that's not at many bakeries. The best Cinnamon rolls I've ever had. I discovered gigantic doesn't, necessarily, make a roll excellent it's the flavor. Cookies and brownies. Well worth checking out. Not a big shop has a sitting area with umbrellas. Coffee is available, brewed.

The Floral manager there is an incredible gal. She's knowledgeable, professional and kind. She really does care for and about her customers. I hope Safeway is paying her very well. She's the only reason we shop there.

I received great help from a wonderful lady in the meat department. She help me with the best buy for my money. She help me get the coupon on my phone. I went to check out and the young man was just learning and made a mistake. Had to go to the service desk and a wonderful woman help me and was so sweet and fixt it. I am so grateful for the ones that know their job. I still hate phone coupons.

this store is a horror show with no helpjusy purchased an order for 50.00one item was triscut family size listed as on sale for 2.97 cents when i got home which is at least 12miles from yhis store notice price was 6.99 called store and some idiot on phone says cant help me to come back to store and we can talk then well gas is a lot higher in this hell hole and cant get help i am contacting my chase bank and stating i will not pay for this item what a rip off this is my last visit to this store and will keep shopping at walmart and amazon where they help with any thing that is not correct GOODBYE SAFEWAY FOREVER MY MAME IS ROBERT SACKS SURPRISE AZ THEY COULD NOT MAKE IT IN NYC FOR SURE

We are new to the area and shopped here 3x. The cashier was talking too much on the last visit, too many personal questions, and we never got our bag of produce we paid for. Didn't discover it until we got home. We shouldn't have to return to the store in the heat and with high gas prices just because someone ELSE made a mistake. The Safeway website does not allow for an email to be sent without setting up accounts and passwords just to get in touch with them. There is another grocery across the street where we get every item we paid for.

I hadn't visited this location in years. It was easy enough to find everything. I expected a large crowd due to the holiday but it wasn't at all crowded. I had two employees offer assistance. I did have to wait a really long time to be acknowledged by the deli worker. He was starting to clean already. I don't know if the deli closes at 8pm and they start cleaning around 7pm but I have stood at the counter at several locations and never helped. Sometimes the hot section is completely cleaned out. No one comes to say that they are closed. Also there is no closed sign. I'm just left there waiting. The next thing was the long line to check out with the ONE cashier. This seems to be the norm at groceries now. They punish you for not using self checkout. I also don't like when workers come and try to force you to give it a try by saying "It's easy. I'll help you.". Why not just open another register? They did finally open a second one. Then the digital coupons slowed down the lines. Thats because you have to check that they actually came off. The cashiers won't ask you if you downloaded the offers. Too often the tiny grocery bags force them to pack items upside down so your cake frosting is stuck to the container. This time I had box donuts. I got them home and they had been packed sideways so that they all slid together and crumbled. I wouldn't mind crumbled but they were wet from being in the bag with frozen veggies. Ugh. I took them back and customer service told me (not very nicely) to contact the company for returns because they can't take back opened items.

This place was great! Super friendly staff, tons and tons of food. Lots of different types of seafood including: Squid, shrimp, clams, tilapia, sushi bar, stuffed crab, etc. For two adults it was $35.00 for lunch. I would go back.

I wasn't very pleased with the deli department. Being from California Arizona has different cheese. When I asked to try the cheese so I can find out if It was to my liking, they said "we're not giving free samples".We had actually gone there to pick up my father-in-law's prescription which they called the night before and said was ready. Then when we got there they said they'd already restocked it. Not sure what the deal is there.Overall was not very impressed with the employees.

Consistently out of stock on sale items the first day of the sale. This is not a supply chain issue as it has been going on for years. I shopped at Safeway in Oregon in the past and it was the same way. I think it is the culture that filters down from management. It gets people back in the store a second time!!!! Maybe that’s why they are failing and looking to merge with Kroger group.I seldom shop here just for this problem.

It really hurts me to complain.it just so happens to be my favorite location. However it’s been numerous times I have received expired food from the deli department. Today I was absolutely disappointed by the sour cheese put in my lasagna rolls, that the deli prepared. More sadden by the customer service. When they try to say the approximately 3mile ride home had made the cheese go bad. WOW. That’s weird Fry’s is a longer drive and I never have this problem. This is the only Safeway I have ever had and still have problems with : bad food, double charging me , and not getting the discounts as advertised. It seems to have fallen out of respect and integrity for the customers. I sure hope the FDA and health inspectors for maricopa happen to react swiftly. My sincere apologies for having to complain about this. I just had to for the best intentions of Safeway. Your sadden loyal customer

Clean , well stocked with a variety of items in the bakery, deli, produce and meat . The chips shelves were not as well stocked . The employees are helpful and friendly . Parking is much easier than several other grocery stores. No longer sanitizing shopping carts, but sanitizing wipes are available for customers.Shoppers... Check your receipts,be sure you are connected to their internet and load the digital coupons at home. 3 rd time I shopped, checked out this time I checked my receipt in my car before I left the store. And saw that 5 items did not scan correctly, minus the digital coupon discounts= $7.52. customer service took care of it and said they have been having problems today... I told her it had happened before, this time I did all of the above and yet the digital coupons not added. So, NOW add watch the price as cashier rings up your items. There was also a man behind me at customer service with same problem. Regardless of this problem, I prefer shopping here or Albertsons over Fry's .... Nicer clerks.Deli meat, sliced turkey, went up$3 lb. Now cost$12.99 lb. . eggs higher also. Problems with Birds!! Something to do with the avian flu. Still enjoy shopping here because of the friendliness of their employees and helpfulness!Easy shopping on Sunday early afternoon

Slow checkout but that happens. Tonight there was confusion about sale price and eligibility, even though I am a member. Soft drink price of 4 $10 sign price not available because of some online shopping club thing. Huh??I was in line at checkout on a February 14. Fellow in front had flowers. I said it was unlikely to still be Valentine's Day when he finally checked out. We got a big laugh.Store seems to be in a death spiral. Felt sorry for employees.

Cynthia G was very rude. She checked my uncle and I out today and was extremely hostile and seemed unhappy with us. We asked a question about the prices of water and she gave no answer other then a rude remark. I will not be returning and letting everyone know not to come back. It was totally bizarre and uncalled for. Sad way to start my mother’s day.

This location does accept Google pay. Frys down the street does not. Other than that it is always clean, friendly staff and can get busy quick depending on how many people are in there also looking to purchase groceries.

This Safeway makes the drudgery of shopping almost pleasurable. Employees are helpful, courteous, and work hard to get your return business. Compared to the Safeway in Kingston and the employees there, the Safeway in Poulsbo is current and forward-thinking, whereas the Kingston Safeway is in the dark ages and its employees are Neanderthals .

I was in retail sales for 40 years. I was also a sales rep for an automotive company but not a car salesman.I want to learn there's three major things you have to offer to get people's business and especially repeat business. One of the most important if not the most important is people. You have to have good people and service to represent whatever you are selling. Essentially you are selling yourself and your service. You have to have a good product. Also price is usually of major concern to the customer. Product service and price are my three major selling points. What stands out to me about my local Safeway is the people. The Safeway on RF Johnson boulevard has really outstanding employees. They have good attitudes and are very helpful. Sincerely Joe Haas

Product and store wise it is as good as any other Safeway. Staff wise, it needs a lot of help. Our cashier was rude with us as one of the products we grabbed had a scuff mark on the bar code making it unreadable by the scanner. Sorry, but I don't visually inspect the bar code integrity when I grab stuff off the shelf.I noticed the numeric code under the bar code was legible and suggested she key it in. I got rolled eyes and basically, "Don't tell me how to do my job." Fine, I'll gladly stand here and hold up the line while you throw a hiss fit. A manager finally came over and did just as I suggested by entering the SKU code. The lady bagging us up then tried to bag a succulent plant my wife bought and damaged it, despite us saying we were happy carrying it out separate.Not at all impressed with the Sun City West staff. Not sure if it is they were never trained or they just don't care, but they make it ten times harder on themselves.

Not the biggest Safeway, but clean, organized and well laid out. Only two lanes open in the late afternoon, but the wait to checkout was very reasonable. Cashier was friendly and helpful, but the bagger disappeared suddenly leaving her doing double duty.

Personalized items on the store app are usually out of stock and you have to get a raincheck and wait up to 2 months at times for the item to be back in stock. Currently have 1 almost a month old and items still not there. If you are going to offer items, you need to order accordingly! If there is a "Free" item offered, you can guarantee it will be out of stock!
