We had a hard time eating here. We made sure we prayed over our meal!Female server was very nice, but didn't follow through. She had the male server do it for her. Male server was disgusting. When we asked the female for a straw, she had the male do it for her. He brought us an UNWRAPPED straw out, sat it on the table. I asked him to bring me a different one that wasn't laid on the table, he brought another three and sat them on the table. At that point, I gave up on getting a straw. I watched him take and handle dirty money from a customer, not wash his hands then grab an unwrapped straw for another customer. From here on, I wondered what might be going on in the kitchen that we couldn't see.The food was bland and dry. No chili was offered for the dry burrito, when we finally got some, we had to smother the dry burrito with it. Still not good. Fajita burrito.. steak was tough and mostly stuffed with bell peppers.Just was not a fan of this place! Over priced for the bland food we received.Would not recommend, and will NOT be coming back. Here's my tip:Spice up your food, put sauce in your dry burrito, offer chili with your bland Mexican food, and start being aware of how many germs are on money and a table top.

Great spot! Food was good. We had breakfast. Service was pleasant and bathrooms were clean. Removing one star for the prices on the menu not being accurate. I ordered the Lumberjack plate and on the menu the price was 12.75 but was charged $17. Quite a substantial increase. Wife also had a higher price than menu for her Denver omelette. They also charged 4% for using a credit card. Removing another star for the cc fee. Hard to recommend a $50 breakfast, even if we were very hungry and overall it was good. (2 meals, a coffee, and an iced tea). Pretty steep. 3 stars overall.

Very small town feel on a Wednesday night, and an overall great experience. Bacon cheeseburger was flavorful and juicy, onion rings were deliciously crispy outside and soft inside, and the 8 layer burrito enchilada style was awesome. My fiance and I greatly enjoyed ourselves and the entire staff was sweet, helpful and timely. Will definitely be returning.

Service was super slow. We had to ask for chips, never got water refills, despite asking, never got more salsa, even after she promised to bring more. The food we ordered was tasty. The front room is clean and the tables and chairs were comfortable .Vegetarian options: Almost all the food could be made without the animal protein.

The place has potential, unfortunately there staff sucks. The portion size is tiny it was a child's plate I thought at first. The server gave me the wrong drink and I never got a new one. I could hear the cook I assume screaming clear from my booth in the restaurant. I never got chips or salsa after asking not once but 2 times. Then the server had my bill after only 5 minutes into my meal the whole thing was rushed, not sure why the place was empty as can be . I will never go back to this sorry excuse of a "tex mex" restaurant cause it's definitely not Mexican! Also the one thing I never wanna see is dirty dishes covered in flys in the dinning cart in the place I'm eating!! Was disappointed. Will let friends know the place is going downhill sadly. Also the place is ridiculously expensive now 20 bucks for a salad is highway robbery. Never been to a restaurant and not left a tip it was that bad.

Nice and clean small town joint. Food was okay. The very young waitresses were very friendly and filled the coffee cup 4times before our food was served (it took a while to make). We ordered the chilaquiles and the lumberjack combo. Rehydrated boxed hash browns, and very diluted coffee, but the chilaquiles were delicious. I think the kitchen had just ran out of pancake batter just as they were making our lumberjack combo. Or maybe they use a very small pan to make their pancakes. Or maybe the lumberjacks in this area are on a restricted diet? But all of the pancakes going to the other tables around us were big enough to fit to the edges of the same-sized plate. Charming decor and clean, nice waitresses, but the food was just 'okay.'

About as hometown comfort as you can get. Staff and patrons are super friendly and the breakfast tastes like your mama made it. The bacon tastes smoky and fried (like bacon should!) The prices are very reasonable, and if you stay at the motel across the street, you get a 10% discount on your food.

Very friendly waitress. Chips, food, and drink took a while to come out.Cameron rojo enchiladas were very good. Chips and salsa were not memorable other than that the salsa came in a throwaway ramekin that most of the chips wouldn't fit in without breaking. Jalapeno margarita (strawberry) wasn't bad but not as big as I was hoping for. Prickly pear lemonade was good also.I'm not sure I would go so far as to call this a Mexican restaurant, maybe more tex mex (they had one page of Mexican stuff and one of American dishes. Also, it is connected with Tequila Red, so you can get all of this food there or all of their drinks here.

We enjoyed our meal there. We both had the chimichangas with shredded beef and green chili. Everything was good including the sides. The restaurant was clean and a welcoming environment. Since we had been on the road all day it was nice to be treated like we belonged in their hometown treasure. Wish I knew the young man name that waited on us but would like to recognize him too. We'll definently be back if ever on this trail again.

Just traveling through… I ordered the fried chicken burritos after not having had food for 48 hours because corona Mexico is not open on a Sunday. I got shredded chicken… Which I hate. Shredded chicken is the worst… Always tastes stale to me. I will literally order anything… Shredded beef, shrimp, etc. I hate shredded chicken . And my nachos did not have ground beef as promised on the menu It Have to say this was disappointing to say the least. The dogs were happy. Me, not so much. 😔

Service and the food were amazing! The Green chili is out of this world and I don't even want to know if the salsa is a jar or can because it is so tasty and fresh it must be homemade. The serving size is big enough to enjoy there and have some left over for home. The Ranch dressing is by far the best I've ever had. We're only traveling through but I would without a doubt eat here all the time if I lived in the area. Sorry no photos of the food, we were so hungry and the food was too yummy to stop and take photos! Great Hatch Chile salsa w/chips, but just average tasting Mexican food (bland rice). The service was friendly (young & inattentive) and the prices were good. Had lunch on a busy, touristy weekday (most tables were full w/locals) so be patient.

Green Chilies are Not mild nor is the HOMEMADE salsa 😔😤. It's the ONLY thing I don't like about the food. Other than that, wonderful people and service.Vegetarian options: Anything can be prepared without meat/vegan diet upon request. Just ask your server. They are always happy to help.Dietary restrictions: If you need A Dietary Menu, please ask your Server. They are wonderful at relaying information to the Cooks. Be specific with your Dietary Needs.Parking: Parking is Available in front of building and in the back of building. You can also park on the side of building if you want to. Lots of parking options and places for small/medium and large vehicle's.Kid-friendliness: Kids menu is available with crayons to keep them calm down and seated. Worth it for the parents.Wheelchair accessibility: Plenty of room inside the restaurant for wheelchair accessible people.

A nice place to get some good food in Springerville. The service was friendly and the restaurant was clean. My chimichanga was really tasty with a nice green chile sauce that brought extra flavor. The prices were reasonable, this is one of the better places to eat in the area!

Best chile relleno of my trip. The red sauce on top was particularly flavorful, only wish the batter was a little more crisp. Really great dinner!

Food was good. Service was slow. Three tables, two work staff, waited for chips/salsa. Asked for chips, twice. Second time cashier smarted off. One small basket and a second wasn't offered. Check came faster than chips.Booths were worn out and soft. Made table seem too high. Uncomfortable.

It was amazing as always, the waitresses are cool to talk too and professional, I've been coming here since I was a baby, and this family restaurant has always been the spot, they have a unique twist on the green Chile which is great, and the Booga Rita is exceptional! So happy it has survived through the years!!Kid-friendliness: Bring your kids! The atmosphere is always welcoming!Wheelchair accessibility: Easy to roll in, and they are happy to accommodate!
