My 17-year-old family member was put to sleep yesterday. It was my first visit to The Pet Clinic. I was given an appointment two days after I called. My initial contact by phone was with a caring professional. I was equally impressed with caregiver at the clinic. She addressed all of my concerns and made me feel as comfortable as I could be under circumstances. She conveyed my concerns to Dr. Sandigo, who then addressed them all with me. I was reluctant to lose my baby and half-convinced myself that she wasn't ready to move on. We talked about my thoughts and feelings. I realized I was biased and a bit in denial. When we were done talking I knew it was time to say goodbye. Everyone at the clinic made our experience a very positive one. I will return with other pets. Thank you.

We are full time RVers so we travel 12 months of the year. We have 2 dogs and go to many vets across the country. I have to say Dr. Sandigo is by far the best veterinarian we ever encountered including his very friendly and professional staff. I highly recommend this vet. Looking forward to bringing my fur babies back to this vet when we come back to Yuma this Fall.

While RVing in Yuma our dog became very ill. We made the difficult decision to have him put to sleep. The Pet Clinic was able to get the same-day appointment. The staff was knowledgeable, courteous, and respectful. They explained the details.Thank You, Dr. Santiago, and his assistant Maggie for helping us with this difficult transition. Excellent clinic.

Absolutely wonderful clinic. The ladies at the front desk were professional, friendly and courteous. Dr. Sandigo was great. He was very kind and personable while listening to my concerns and diagnosing my doggo. The tech (Maggie) was outstanding! A real asset to the clinic She was very caring and sensitive with my doggo! The entire staff seemed friendly and upbeat.

They were fine. My pet needed more services than they had to offer, she needed a CAT scan but in fact I didn't find any in our area at all that could do that I was going to take her to Phoenix but I had to have her put to sleep before that.

Brought our sweet Koda to this clinic because he had an inflamed stomach which here in LA, they recommended an Ultrasound but were charging us $1,200 just for the Ultrasound. We decided to do some research and came upon this clinic with very good prices. Drove our sweet Koda from LA to AZ for an Ultrasound and unfortunately, we found out he had a mass/ tumor. Dr. Sandigo was very thorough with explaining the process of mass/ tumor removal. He was very nice and gentle. Anna, his nurse was also a sweetheart. Our sweet Koda went into surgery but unfortunately, did not make it out. Dr. Sandigo did not sugarcoat anything when speaking to us about the risks of continuing a surgery that can be fatal. Unfortunately the mass/ tumor was bigger and extreme than expected. Although we are terribly heartbroken that we have lost a part of our family, we are very thankful for Dr. Sandigo, Anna and the staff at The Pet Clinic for doing everything possible to take care of our sweet Koda. He is now in a better place playing with his best bud, Plumis. Thank you again Dr. Sandigo and staff!

I booked an appointment for my 3 yr old rescue to get her yearly rabies, kennel cough shots and Simparica Trio prescription. The day of our appointment (we were the 1st appt after lunch), we waited in the lobby about 15 mins before getting called back to a room where a tech input out information and vitals. She left to get the doctor. This took 20 minutes. The doctor (Dr Santiago) tried to up sell services (additional vaccinations & a heartworm test) that I did not request or require. He said he wouldn't prescription the medicine if I didn't let him do the test. I told him we'd just skip the prescription that I'd get it elsewhere. He was very rude and argumentative, then refused all service and left the room.Apparently his customer service skills need some work!! Adding more expense was more important than taking care of my dog. I would not recommend him to anyone!

Brought my dog in 10 minutes before closing, nobody else was willing to go the extra mile. They diagnosed the issues prescribed medication. Have followup the following week. Total professionals. They also had outstanding customer service and care.

I called in for San Jose, CA as vets are expensive here to check for cost effectiveness. Woman on the phone refused to provide info and chat with doctor just to give me estimate on surgery.

Horrible experience. So much for support local.I have a husky that I was trying to get shots for, when I first made the appointment I let the receptionist know she can be aggressive. She explained it’s normal behavior as it’s just the pet “defending the owner” that after dropping her off she would most likely calm down.Come day of the appointment I’m told to wait in the lobby 30mins after my appointment I’m called into a room where I wait another 20-30mins before someone walks in and sees my husky is being aggressive/nervous(as I had previously let them know)She proceeds to leave the room to call the main Dr, who then comes in and wants me to reschedule, at that point I’m upset after having wasted an appointment, I was hoping they could compensate with some medication they were recommending which I was told no(understandably) but it doesn’t hurt to ask right?So after over an hour wasted and being told I must reschedule I decide to leave, as I’m already walking out dissatisfied the Dr proceeds to shoo us away saying “yes please leave please leave”(made me feel super uncomfortable) and even proceeds to call the police on me lolI’m sure I’m not 100% in the right but the way he handled the situation made me feel he could of done a lot better.

My dog was having some issues so I brought here. Everyone was so so sweet and gentle with her. I absolutely recommend bringing your fur babies here! We ended up having to come back the same day and they stayed open a little longer to help treat my girl! Everyone there is so so nice!
