This is Stuart Place is absolutely beautiful! The new Proprietors KoRenda and Chris, haven't really gone out of their way to make this a cozy, friendly, warm and very welcoming place for everyone to come! I would have to say the town of Skull Valley has struck goldmine with the new people running the General Store! I've been coming to this store since I was a teenager, and never have I seen it more quaint, and more filled with exciting fun things to buy and look at, not to mention all the yummy things to eat if you haven't been in a while... Do yourself a favor get down here now! Can't wait to get back and see it again!

I had the good fortune today to stop in and visit with the store owner of the local "hot spot" known to locals simply as The Skull Valley General Store.While I had been there a month ago and had a good look around this mercantile outlet with more "personality" than any other store in Yavapai County, I had not met "KoRenda" who is indeed a gifted and articulate entrepreneur in several fields of endeavor.I left her with my jaw dropping to the floor over her insights and talents, not to mention the world class homemade Cinnamon Rolls and percolated coffee that I consumed while we socialized over the blessed 40 minutes I was so enriched by.Specifics would fill pages, so let me simply entice anyone coming into this tiny village to stop for a pleasurable few moments at this quaint little rest stop and enjoy it's uncanny but comfortable ambiance. Awesome place till the owners got greedy and kicked the leasers to the curb, who worked so hard to make it happen and had a very nice business going... Sad to see Korenda and her family have to move away to Arkansas... Real loss for skull valley...
