This is a nice park. Gave five as we see the effort. Nice long space for motor home and tow. Nice dog parks- at each end. Store is nice. Hosts very nice and helpful.Great location for area fun. Good for stopovers for sure - easy on and off, less busy than Flag etc. Wes stay here again.

Seligman / Route 66 KOA is near the town of Seligman, just off of I40. The staff at the campground was very courteous and helpful. We were escorted to our site, which is a plus. This campground has no amenities to speak of. It is next to a very busy railroad line. The pool was empty. There were no cable channels offered. We did manage to find one signal with our antenna, which provided a welcome 5 channels. If you don't mind the noise from the incessant trains passing by, this is a nice overnight stop. As a plus, Seligman, just down the road, offers some nostalgic Route 66 sentiments.

Dog park gets 5 stars.Ladies showers 1 is broke.Showers drains full of hair and don't drain.Water is hot, but stink.Man rides around in golf cart kicks up dust tons of times. Must be fun.Truly a very loud, dusty experience with trains running day and night. Don't forget the freeway behind your cabin. Wow .Good rates for sure.Walkability: Easy to get to store, bathroom and laundry.

Staff was friendly and it's a basic KOA. Nice sized lots and two fenced dog parks. Seligman is the birthplace of the historic Route 66 highway and there are a dozen or so gift shops, photo ops and tourist sights along with a nice collection of antique and historic cars inside and out of the stores. The only negative was it's right next to a train track and horns every 30 minutes. I thought something was funny when I saw a bowl full of ear plugs with a sign saying "free ear plugs" when I checked in. Otherwise, the park was quiet and clean.

Stayed just the one night, had full hookups and was able to fill up our propane tank on our 30ft motorhome. Staff were polite and helpful and only asked us to disconnect the water at 9 pm since they were expecting freezing temperatures. No big deal. Place was quiet, except for occasional train, but didn't even notice them when sleeping. (Trains did not use horns in this area. )

Grounds need some upgrading.Showers good. Laundry good. It's adjacent a major railroad line. The railroad didn't bother me one bit (retired RR worker).Right smack dab on old Rt 66Noteworthy details: At the east end of Seligman, AZ which is a very cool small town. You must visit Westside Lilo's for great food, great camaraderie & out of this world cakes, pies & plate sized cinnamon rolls.

Even though it's right by two roads and a railway line it's one of the quieter KOA's we've stayed on. The trains didn't blow their horns, just rumbled on by.Stayed 2 nights.Loved route 66, much nicer to drive on than I40. We went up to Peach Springs and drove the old highway 6 (off road) for 22 miles down to the Colorado River. Absolutely stunning drive. There is a small pool at the campsite, dated but clean toilets & showers. A shop.No privacy between pitches - standard for KOA. Pitches are flat.Popular with off-roaders as there are so many tracks around. There was a food van.Friendly staff.Seligman itself is a tourist trap, trading on route 66

Look, this is a spot that *is* close to the freight trains, but it is so remote that there are no nearby crossings so no train whistles. This is a very chill place, the laundry room and bathrooms are clean and tended to. We stayed in a cabin with two rooms and things had been recently painted and it was looking good, clean, mini fridge and microwave in the cabin. Right off the highway so it was easy to arrive and settle in quickly and get some rest and just get off the road. The staff and locals we spoke with there were all very friendly and kind and helpful with suggestions for breakfast. The pool was very cold, but I was glad to get in and do a few walking laps back and forth the short way to loosen up my back and numb the arthritis a bit. There is a spot for kids to play and one for the pups. It's a little place, it's pretty basic, and it literally met all our needs. My teenager and I agreed after our 21 day road trip that this was one of our favorite stops. We enjoyed the breeze while on the porch bench outside the laundry area (which, btw, has great machines!! I put two loads of wet clothes into one dryer and they were ALL done before the cycle ended!!), Watching birds there, just feeling completely relaxed with zero rush for anything. I don't know how to explain it, but so many stops we made had SO many people who seemed to have an agenda to push through (national Park tourists staying at the lodge at Mesa Verde, for example, people at a beach acting like the only option was the *perfect* spot....). This was a place we would be happy to visit again. It was relaxing, felt safe, was so clean. Probably the cleanest KOA I have ever been to in about 17 years of frequent travel in this country and lots of KOAs all over the place. What makes it great for me is the warm, welcoming feeling we got. The person who checked us in (she has an Irish name, I can't remember it now) was seriously so kind and caring. It's not that I needed anything, just wanted to confirm it was ok to drop the key in the box if we got enough sleep to hit the road reaaaaally early (it was, but I slept in lol), it's just that she was nice to me in our interaction after a long day. And the person at the desk when we checked out (and I got a couple post cards and a little green bendy guy and a shirt because it was a nice stay and I like to remember who I am when I remember to enjoy life), that person was really nice to have that little bit of chit-chat with too. If you are used to room service, go someplace else. If you want a clean, safe, comfortable place to rest your head for a night or many nights, this is a good choice. When we drove into Sliegman the next day to get some breakfast on our way out of town, I was really glad we stayed here. 100% would stay again.Rooms: Two room camping cabin was recently painted, neat as a pin and very clean. Mini fridge and microwave were a hugely helpful bonus! Oh and the A/C is in the back room, but it cools both rooms if you leave the door between the areas open. We happened to have a fan with us because my kid likes the white noise (and is smart! We used it many places), so we used it to pull cold air from the back room to the front then closed the door (and kept the fan running in the front room) so we each had our own space for the first time in like a week lol and that worked out really wellNearby activities: While we didn't participate, I totally loved that the bulletin board included local "all are welcome" events like library programs, community meals, etc.

Good location for passing through - close to Rte 66 and Hwy 40 - also close to railroad with frequent trains. Amenities including showers, restrilooms, dog parks, and market were all decently kept and available. Very muddy in the rain, however I'm sure that was a rare occasion since we stayed mid-March. Had to disconnect water lines overnight so they wouldn't freeze (high 20's overnight). Staff and campers were all friendly. Used as a basecamp for backpacking trip to Havasupai and it was perfect for that. Restaurants, shops, and groceries all about 5miles away.

Absolutely the worst KOA we have ever seen. Pulled in for a night's rest... couldn't even get out of truck at our or any site due to grounds being completely muddy...after exploring the camp ground, we realized all facilities (bathrooms, general store and laundry rooms) were dirty and not maintained. We never unhooked and ended up staying at local truck stop that had semi paved grounds. Management should definitely look into upgrading such a well-known franchise. I so wish we had taken pictures to go with this rating.

A definite stopover before hitting Vegas it's off the main express way but still a nostalgic part of Route 66Food & drinks: Great coffee at Road Runner cafeNoteworthy details: Like alot of places affected by the express way this little piece of Route 66 depends on tourist stopping/Shopping to keep it going financially it is now a rest stop with most Tour companies going through heading to Vegas or heading down to Sedona/ Grand canyon

Maybe it was an off week, but out of over 15 other KOAs I’ve been to, this was the worst. Website describes it as a peaceful and quiet town. It’s not. One side of the campground is a highway and the other is a train. Trains and cars run through the night and are very loud. The bathrooms were so dirty the whole time but they brought a cart of cleaner when I left from my one day stay. I was in a cabin, and there were webs and crumbs all over. Wouldn’t recommend at all.

Quiet KOA, with level spots, friendly staff, a cute store with Historic Route 66 souvenirs/memorabilia etc. Laundry area is clean and well maintained. We will definitely stay here again if through the area again.

Remember the national lampoon's movie vacation where Chevy Chase has to pay off a crooked mechanic because he's the only one around. This is the kind of situation you could run into if you stay at the Seligman AZ KOA campground. They claim they're the only ones around that carry the small butane canisters. I bought one that didn't work. So instead of trading it out for a cheaper Colman propane bottle they people said NO. And no refund because they're the only ones that carry it.I was out $10.5 because they wouldn't exchange for a cheaper product.Don't go there. The service is terrible!

Great little place. There is a train very close by that runs constantly, they do not blast their horn so just the rumbles from the tracks. We tent camped, it had a designated tent pad. The bathrooms were clean and the staff we spoke to was friendly.

The staff is great! The campground is at the end of the route 66 out of Kingman. If you are coming from the east it is a great stop to get up the next day and do the route into Kingman. If you're coming from the west, great stop to end your day before you continue your route. Interstate 40 is in really bad condition. (3/25/23) Be cautious. Deep potholes that can wreak your tires.
