Not going to give my options for this place. Struggling town with prices that reflect the slow business throughout the day. Most food offered is fresh from the freezer I would have to say. Reheated processed food mostly as well, I would say. Conversation is masked with kindness and doubt. Sketchy.Enjoy the food everybody..$7.00 Tiny Salad. Visited a second time and was great; went again today (4/11/23) and was incredibly disappointed by how poorly made the pizza was -- very few toppings. This is terrible to spend so much for a supreme pizza and it has no toppings. We are hoping this is a fluke, and I will try once more (a fourth time) to make sure and update review if it is...Went here for the first time on 3/16/23. We are new to the area (just moved beginning of March) and were really in the mood for pizza. Someone had mentioned this place, but then indicated ownership had changed. Our experience was fantastic -- very friendly service and AMAZING pizza! We took ours to go and the drive home, smelling the aromas was torture. So, so glad to have found a good, local place to serve our pizza hankerings.Parking: plenty available

Wow! Don't have a picture because we were busy eating. This review is coming from a person who doesn't care for pizza. I would rather have pasta. But this pizza was so good! I will be back, and I will try to remember to get a picture. The restaurant doesn't look like much on the outside, but go inside and allow the pizza to speak for itself. They also have a good assortment of wine. We shared a bottle, and it was reasonably priced.Vegetarian options: Veggie pizza was on the menu.

Such a cute place! The town cut the lights out at 8pm so we found this place opened and ordered pizza for takeout. The lady on the phone was very sweet and helpful. Got there early so sat and had a drink. All the money on the wall was from townspeople back in the day when they got paid, they dropped off money at the restaurant/bar so they could drink all week. The money has their name on it so the restaurant would know who's money it was. Oh, pizza was very good!

Excellent service and great food.The staff was very friendly and professional.We ordered our food and it came extremely fast.The pizza was a great size and had lots of toppings. It was cooked perfectly as well.No complaints or suggestions for improvement at all.

Great place for pie and drink. We started with brunette and ordered a large Seligman special ( one with everything). All was great and large pie is about 12 nice size cuts. They have a good menu and beer was good and cold and margaritas are also. On the east end out by the KOA. If you want Italian this is the placeVegetarian options: Have great looking all vegetable pizza called the poor hunter. If it anything like our Seligman pie ( that had lots of fresh veggies on it) bet it great.Parking: Good parking lot. Larger vehicle parking to the east side.

Like how quaint it was, the waitress was nice and the pizza was delicious as well as the hot wings everything was cooked to perfection, a nice place to visit on route 66. Think of a diner, that serves delicious pizzas. Would highly recommend.

Best burger and pizza we’ve ever eat. No words to describe~ place is gorgeous decorated by heart and both waitress and chef are beautiful girls, really beautiful,~ so best experience so far from we landed on USA. Hope come back soon!

Let's talk about good food and good people. We wanted wings and beer. Google lead us to this place and it was amazing. We ordered wings which were great. Sauce as also amazing so much I saved some to put on my pizza. The pizza is homemade dough and sauce. Stack high with toppings. My kids always want cheese. We left with a full cheese pizza cause they all ate the supreme we also ordered. The people were so nice refills were done fast we never felt like we were waiting for service.

The owners were friendly and worked quickly to get orders out.This pizza place came recommended when we checked into out hotel for the night. There was a large party seated waiting for their order and the staff got right on making the orders and serving everyone.The pizzas are great sizes with large slices. You can tell the crust is handmade, so crispy and soft at the same time. The pizza did have a little grease (hey, anything with delicious meats and cheeses is bound to have grease), but it wasn't saturated in grease and did not have the greasy texture pizzas sometimes had. Delicious food & great service, we will definitely be coming back when we are in the area!

I ordered a large meat lover pizza from the pizza joint. I got home with the pizza and noticed that the meat toppings were different. The ham was big, round and thick. Reminded me of what you would use to make a sandwich. Also, there was what appeared to be salami on the pizza as well. The salami was big and round as well. Like what Subway uses to make their sandwiches. The bottom of the pizza crust was burned and soggy. The cheese tasted like it was cardboard. The original owners of The Pizza Joint would have never let a pizza, or any of their menu items go out like this. The new owners and staff need to go to school on how to run a restaurant and learn how to cook.

Decent place with all the historic Route 66 setting inside. I especially loved the world map over there and people can pin where they are from. Pizza was no exception, can’t ask for more.

We stayed at a motel close by and Anne, the owner, recommended this place as we wanted pizza. The Jack Daniels Wings in particular. We went there and were the only ones which surprised as a little. The place itself is cosy a little thrown together though. We ordered the mentioned wings twice as starters and were expecting to wait ages for it as we thought the kitchen needs to prepare to serve guests first but we were mistaken. Wings came quickly and they were absolutely delicious, they were so good that a companion of mine took a straw to empty the marinade out the bucket. After such a strong start our expectations grew a lot and we weren‘t disappointed. Amazing Pizza, the Meatlover in particular, we have to summarize. The Owner is good for a chat and takes good care of his guests. Prices are reasonable. We would come here again if it takes us back to the Route 66 one day.

We live in the area, and figured we'd give the locals our business, maybe become "regulars". Disappointed and still hungry. I called in an order an hour ahead for pickup, and arrived at the exact time I gave them. No pizza. They can't find the order for it, were clueless, and they didn't care. "Want to wait 40 minutes for us to make one?" Oh, hell No! We won't be back.
