Great bar off of historic Route 66! Great staff and cold brews! Everyone is very welcoming and a place that will make you feel right at home! Great live music on the weekends as well! Stop in and have a drink, the worst that will happen is you will end up having two!

Was in the mood for a Midori sour, and Mona makes a killer one. Not your usual mix but amazing nonetheless. Great atmosphere, its a small town bar. Nice and quiet and friendly locals. Looking forward to my travels bringing me here again. Support 66 businesses.

Incredibly kind and helpful people here! We were struggling to find a rest stop and the bartender and locals were incredibly inviting and helpful to us on our road trip. Customer service and warmth is abundant upon entering this establishment. Decor is a plus- so fun. The atmosphere seems like a great place to grab a drink and unwind for some time while chatting it up. Wish we could’ve stayed longer upon our visit!

I ordered a flaming Dr pepper as a n ex bartender, I completely understood that she didn't know what that was. I explained it to her she said she couldn't do it, I was fine with that. So ordered a beer and a shot. Paid gave her a tip. No smile no thank you no acknowledgment. Sat down my friend came in so I was going to order him a beer, but she ignored me. He sat down and she was right there to take his order. I ignored her actions cuz she was old, not busy at all. I asked her the price of her t shirts she said after she was done with my friends order and walked away when she was done she completely ignored me. I then walked out, told my friend I wasn't going to support such a rude establishment. We were going to order food and have a nice evening out , but if you're going to treat people this way I guess she doesn't need my money. Not worth walking in not worth wasting your time. No FOOD SERVICE there that I could tell. No one was eating.

Tried to stop in and grab a beer. Thought it would be dog friendly because they had a patio. Totally not dog friendly. It's OK. Roadkill Cafe and the snow cap are dog friendly and very hospitable.

Black cat bar is the only and only true bar out here. They have pool tables, dartboard and lots of alcohol. They have a stage on the back patio for live music. Drinks and the games are cheap. Only place open past 9. They also have some souvenirs that are unique to themselves. Floors and other things have black cats on them. Definitely worth a stop.

Stopped at this roadside bar at sunset one night in July on a tour of historic Route 66, as part of a roadtrip across America. The billiard tables were visible through the front window and lured us in.Played one game of billiards and continued on, probably never to return again, but the people were friendly and the ambiance was just what one would expect from the setting. It will be forever etched in my memory.
