I stopped at The Chai Spot while visiting Tlaquepaque on my weekend-long Sedona trip. I am a huge chai aficionado (especially iced) and was not disappointed. The friendly staff recommended the Iced Black Chai and the Hot Coconut Rose for my mom who was also accompanied me. Both drinks were delicious. I also purchased some Kurkure Masala Crunch chips while I was there that were super yummy/tasty. I really liked the snack options. The vibe was also really cute and was a great study spot as I saw many people there on their laptops/reading/chilling.

The Chai Spot at Tlaquepaque is a really unique, bohemian type space. I've visited the one in New York City, so it was a lovely surprise to see that The Chai Spot had made it to Sedona as well. The ambiance is pretty out of this world. I love that there is outdoor seating so that you can take in the Old Mexico style architecture of the building, while also experiencing South Asian decor. As an Indian person, the traditional chai was actually very good and I had it with the classic Parle-G cookies. Although slightly overpriced for chai, I will say that The Chai Spot offers you a unique snacking experience and it also supports a good cause so for me it was worth it.Parking: There is parking at various points throughout Tlaquepaque including parking within the shopping center or in a parking lot close by.

While I was visiting Sedona I found this Chai cafe and I thought I had to try it! I got Coconut Rose and tasted different from what I had before but it was a way better than any other chai I had tried before. The cafe ambiance was very nice that I felt like I was in a different country. The staff was very friendly and I felt welcomed when I walked in. If you want to try something different but real chai this is the place you want to visit. They are located in a very cute shopping center.

Got to know about this place through a few Instagram influencers and was positively surprised when we went there! The chai was great and they had a lot of Indian snacks sold at the store as well! The mall that the store is a part of is really pretty and highly recommend walking around while you sip the cuppa!

I’m being a little picky here because of the relative location and cost.In the fancy shopping district of Sedona and an elevated price I’m expecting a bit of an experience.Positives: the chai was delicious and the location makes you feel like you are somewhere else (which is nice). The patio seating is an amazing concept and we enjoyed a sit while drinking our chai.Negatives: while the patio is nice; the cleanliness and upkeep could definitely be better. The staff was not friendly, not mean, but definitely not nice. You could not make substitutions (which I totally get and appreciate) so just a fair warning to those who like to customize orders. Objectively I’m not a chai expect so I couldn’t tell you if this is “authentic” or not , but it was tasty. All and all I would come back again though but I wouldn’t wait in line for it.Dietary restrictions: No substitutions so if to are dairy free you the teas may be your only option.Parking: This place is usually packed and the parking lot is pretty torn up at this point and filled with puddles. For as fancy and expensive as it is I would expect better.Wheelchair accessibility: Upstairs so it seemed impossible to get to in a wheelchair.

Okay! I absolutely love this place!!Since I’m lactose intolerant, I tried the vegan option in there - coconut rose chai. It was a revelation! I absolutely loved the chai! I never knew chai with coconut milk could taste so amazing! My companions tried the butter chai, cardamom tea and the traditional tea. They were all good. I didn’t really love the butter chai though - it was too rich and buttery for my taste.Oh and their jeera(cumin) biscuit was amazing and a must try with your chai!! 😋😋The place itself is very cute! 🙂

The recipes for chai are homemade and authentic (at least if you get the original). There are hot and cold options as well as a Thai ice chai tea.I don’t drink dairy so I wasn’t able to try the most authentic one. I had the ice one that comes with coconut milk as an option and to be honest, I really didn’t like it. I felt the coconut taste didn’t mix well. I took a few sips and threw the rest out. There was a strong aftertaste.

The teas are pretty good here and their costs are pretty low. There's a nice ambiance that you can enjoy while drinking your tea. You can also get henna too. We ordered the hibiscus tea and the coconut rose tea. The hibiscus was very light but good flavor. The coconut tea was delicate in taste and nicely proportioned. The hot teas do appear to contain less drink than the cold but that's probably because of the ice. Very lovely and unique place.

Unique place. Sitting on the floor is a thing. I got the coconut rose. If you don't like rose favor, not to worry. Rose is not very dominant, and it is not too sweet. If you prefer something sweet , try the butter Chai. If you like strong cardamom taste, try the classic. If you don't like Chai, try it anyway. Life is too short to die without tasting chai.

Dear Owner or management of “The Chai Spot”I am writing to express my disappointment regarding the service experienced during my recent visit. While I appreciate the overall quality of your establishment, the excessively long waiting time significantly impacted my experience.Firstly, I was informed that the waiting time for my order would be around 20 minutes. However, it took 45 minutes to receive just two cups of tea. We get “Dinner served even before that”. Such a delay is not only inconvenient but also misleading based on the initial time estimate given. The prolonged wait not only dampened our enthusiasm but also affected the overall ambiance of our visit. Waiting for almost double the anticipated time without any communication or update from the staff was frustrating.I believe that timely service is a crucial aspect of customer satisfaction. Delays can happen, but it's important to manage expectations realistically and keep customers informed about any unexpected hold-ups.I hope my feedback will be taken constructively. An improvement in service time and better communication with customers can greatly enhance the overall experience at your establishment.Sincerely!

Great effort by the enthusiastic folks working here and at the NYC chai spot , but I totally agree with other chai lovers that the chai is a bit pricey and not up to the mark as the authentic chai should be taste wise .I could write much detail abt the quality of the chai served here being a chai/ coffee aficionado myself but hopefully it improves in the future.

We love stopping by each time we're in Sedona. We had one of each of the 4 hot beverages they make, they were all delicious. We plan for some colder beverages when the weather gets warmer. Love the ambiance, the staff, their drinks and products (great incense). I think it's wonderful that half their proceeds go to supporting Pakistani women and children to have access to education. Thank you for a wonderful experience each time we are in town!

Tucked away within the charming Tlaquepaque Arts & Shopping Village, I discovered the delightful gem that is the Chai Spot. With a distinct ambience and laid-back feel, this cafe serves up delicious chai and irresistible Osmania biscuits. If you're seeking an unconventional chai experience, be sure to pay a visit.

Love everything about this place! We met the owner who is super sweet. She explained that a portion of their proceeds helps empower underprivileged women from Pakistan. The decor is so beautiful and cozy! The chai was delicious and served in jars covered with gorgeous embroidered sleeves. Perfect place to enjoy your tea and just unwind.

We stumbled across this chai spot Tlaquepaque arts and shopping .You can sit around the traditional seating surrounded by craftworks in vivid colors created by Pakistani women from the small villages. They have a small boutique setup which have accessories, clothes and handicrafts to browse through.Their menu is simple which comprises of some varieties of chai and snacks.Taste wise I didn’t find the chai to be spectacular, it was okay that’s all and a tad bit pricey. But I loved the ambience of the place.
