10 stars to the manager Greg he is so cool and helped me tremendously with my huge Instacart order for a business. He was super busy but he even had time to talk to me like a person and I thanked him multiple times. People need to be more grateful for our retail workers. He would do anything for anybody just because. The other managers and associates were very cool and helpful. Super busy store but the staff gets it done. I would love to shop here personally if I lived nearby.

Great place for groceries. Typical grocery store. If you're looking for food, it's here. Anything you need to buy food related, they have. The aisles are well organized and clean. The bakery and meat sections are clean and tidy. The restrooms are not the cleanest though. Overall, a good place to grab whatever food or snack you need. If you're looking for a clean bathroom, it's not here.

Love Safeway but sad to see no cashiers lonnnng lines on self check out and when get a cashier not even a hi seemed like a lazy kid that don’t want to be there then your trash at main entrance terrible 😞

I've read many reviews and mostly complaints about not being able to get advertised pricing on items at this store. I planned my trip here as my family was coming in to town for a week long vacation. The problem that most people are encountering I believe is with the app. After speaking with Lily at the customer service desk we were able to get my phone number attached to the app for future visits, which I did make one, where everything went perfectly. Lily adjusted any item I had a problem with on my first visit and made me feel confident that I had chosen the right location to do my shopping. Thanks Lily 😊

Very clean, found everything I needed, and everyone was friendly. Got exactly what I wanted. Self checkout employee, was very helpful and nice. Customer service man was fast and helpful. [And rizzy] Manager Adam was very kind and efficient. Felt safe with him. Overall 10/10 will be back. Thank you Sedona Safeway and the three men who helped my experience be so glizzaful

This is a decent Safeway. Tends to have everything I need most times. Their meat selection is okay, not stellar but is fresh the majority of the time. Several other Safeways have Boars Head deli meat, but this one does not. Their deli meat is low to low medium quality. Overall, decent grocery store if in Sedona. The staff is always friendly.

Cindy was INCREDIBLE. I've never left a review for a grocery store before but after my wife told me the story I felt compelled! My wife was shopping for groceries and called me flustered saying she had forgotten her wallet. I told her to just use her phone for Apple pay! When she got to the checkout line she checked her balance on the apple pay and it was only $80 thinking that her groceries would be more. There was a line behind her and my wife was embarrassed. Cindy told her "hey lets figure this out" and asked my wife to select all of the MUST HAVES and to put the other stuff behind that on the conveyor. She monitored when she was getting close to $80 and assessed what was left and told my wife after the phone number safeway discount it probably would cover all of it. She also referred to the discount program as "the magic button" which is hilarious. She was able to turn an embarrassing situation into a fun moment for my wife. My wife was so excited to tell me the story. I appreciate this deeply. You have a good employee here Safeway!

I was honestly pleasantly surprised by this store. I thought the prices were good and their selection is huge. On the way to Sedona we stopped at a Walmart not knowing what the selection would be like at Safeway and we definitely could have gone here instead. We will keep that in mind for next time. Super clean store and friendly staff. Small enough that it is easy to navigate but big enough to be able to find what you are looking for!

This is where to grocery shop if visiting Sedona area. Food is fresh and well priced. Lots of variety. Be sure to get a free Safeway card to save big at the checkout. You'll just need your phone number at checkout.

Placed the order with the app. The store was out of a lot of my order, such as the chicken breast tenders, turkey necks, and a few more items. The Rep was fast polite and friendly. A good guy!

On Holiday in Sedona and this was my first visit here. It was quite pleasant. The store was very clean, well laid out and the employees were all very friendly.

I was on vacation and shopped here as well as visited starbucks here every day, One day I lost my keys and what could've been traumatic was turned around by the staff, who helped me not just look for my keys but gave me supprt and authentic caring. I will never forget the kindness and compassion they showed me. I will ALWAYS shop here when I visit! Shoutout to Lily and Eniselina!!! They are amazing! And also Lance and all the starbucks girls, also super clean beautiful store!

The manger was actually screaming like a psycho in the parking lot. Like red faced screaming at people trying to park. I will NEVER frequent this store again. If they “manger” is reading this, quit your job and give it to someone who wants it.

This store is awesome! The staff are so friendly, especially Chuck in the meat department who was amazing and really accommodating! As we were walking out of self checkout the, we were telling another employee about how awesome Chuck and she said, “did he sing for you? He likes to sing to people” well no, he didn’t lol! That would have been even more awesome but still our experience was the most pleasant grocery store experience my partner and I’ve ever experienced.

Mary in deli and all the workers I spoke with were very professional. I was ordering from another state. They made a meat and cheese tray and vegetable tray that was for my sister and her group of 11 other woman. It was a hit! Thank you

The sushi guy followed me to the out asking if I was going to pay for my food. I told him I had already paid. My items weren't bagged because I only had 2 things. Anyway, the sushi was old I couldn't tell because there was sauce on top but when I took it apart the veggies were definitely old and tasted soggy. Gross 🤢

The store was very nice, consisting of every basic thing needed; But our experience was not the best. We had a cashier that did not have the best attitude. She tried to get us to go to self checkout with a filled cart because she didn’t feel like checking us out. She then went on to say that she could not split the total even though the last Safeway we went to did. Other than this interaction the store was nice.

I shop here a few times a month and I'm always impressed by how nice the staff is and how clean the place is. I wish they had a wider selection of certain items and certain items were always in stock, but they're super busy all the time. I just have to find the right day to go in order to ensure what I need is there...Highly recommend!!!

The prices here are criminal. One bottle of ranch dressing is $13+, whereas at Walmart 15 minutes away, it's $6. I know inflation is awful right now, but paying the better part of $20 for one sauce is inexcusable. At this point, Clark's, the expensive tourist trap in the Village, is less expensive. As a massive franchise, Safeway needs to do better.

I implore all customers to read their receipt!The store over charges it's customers quite often. It will advertise or display a price for an item, and even though the customers have jumped through all the hoops to receive the lower price, the store will charge full price . Please, please, please read your receipt.Now mind you, most of the store employees are wonderful and hard working people. Management is poor at best!!!

Ordered grocery pickup while here on vacation. Was notified several items were substituted--fine, it happens--but they were random substitutions: hamburger patties for ground beef, chicken for ham, and lactose-free creamer for regular creamer, among others. I declined the substitutions and went into the store before picking up the rest of my order; almost all of the substituted items were actually in stock. Weird, but whatever, I purchased them and then completed my pick up order.When we got back to our vacation home and started trying to make dinner, we noticed several items were missing. I called the store and asked if one of our totes had been missed; they were apologetic but said no. I had to prompt them to ask what I was supposed to do since I had paid for the groceries but didn't have them. I asked if someone could gather the missing items and I could go pick them up; they said yes, but they needed an hour. I waited and then drove the 25 minutes to pick up the missing items. They gave me a cart with some of the items, but several items were still missing! I was told to go grab them myself. After I was unable to find some of them, I went back to customer service and was simply told the aisles they were on and again directed to go find them myself. So I drove 25 minutes, twice, to pick up items I had been told would be ready for me, twice, and still had to do my own shopping, even after telling customer service I was unable to find some of the items because I was unfamiliar with the store. I left without one of the items because it wasn't where they said it was and I was beyond frustrated by that point.Save yourself the trouble and shop literally anywhere else.
